Barton G. The Restaurant - Miami Beach Ratings and Reviews
The presentation of the food was very creative and grand. The server was very attentive and professional. We went around 7 o'clock for dinner so there wasn't a lot of noise. Towards the end of our dinner more people started coming into the restaurant. Nice and clean restroom. My only complaint was the meat was not cooked exactly how I asked. I wanted medium well plus, it came out more medium rare and more raw than I prefer my beef. The funnel cake for dessert was amazing. Everything else was wonderful.
This place wasn’t spectacular, but seeing the exaggerated and big food was fun. The food isn’t as great as you would expect and we had reservations and were seated outside but wanted to be inside and that wasn’t possible so that was a little bit disappointing.
had a great time with my date, food drinks all good and great service but let me tell how your food and drink arrives to your table...unexpected, flashy and fun... my margarita came with chips, a tequila popsicle and a piñata and that was just the start and by the way its not only the looks, the drink was really good as well. i won't spoiled the rest but get your phone ready for pictures. the only reason I didn't put five stars is that the need bigger tables our food and drinks would barely fit in there. definitely coming back to try other stuff.
A group of 4 friends and I went to Barton G for my 30th birthday dinner. We live in California and had hear of the location in L.A. so decided to make a reservation while in Miami, which was done same day without problem. Upon entering, we were greeted by a friendly hostess and were seated almost immediately. At first glance, the restaurant felt modern and swanky. Lots of glass and crystal, abstract art, and great lighting. The food was delicious, and our server was amazing. She was talkative, friendly, thorough, and made great suggestions. The over-the-top food and drink presentation was unlike anything I had experienced before. Overall, it was a great experience and I will definitely be going back next time I am in Miami.
We had the most whimsical dinner at Barton G. Everything was spot on perfect from the way we we're greeted upon arrival to the amazing service we had. Our food was cooked perfectly. Dessert was the best dessert we've ever had. We really recommend Barton G for a great time and amazing food. You will not regret it!
The last time I️ went here was about 10 years ago. I️ remembered outrageous food, cool/dark ambience, sexy but fun feels, great service. The experience I️ had last night was everything but. I️ was so disappointed with the overpriced and too average. The staff was not accommodating . The experience was impersonal. I️ wanted a rare and exciting date night with my guy but it felt more like night at Applebee’s. Sorry Applebee’s.
I made and confirmed my reservation a day prior. When I arrived I was advised that there was a wait time due to the unexpected weather. I asked how long will it be and I was spoken to very rudely by the host, that I would just have to wait like the rest of the patrons. Next, once we were seated at a table for four the waiter was so busy and we were not properly attended to. This was my third time eating here and I thought that it would have been the best place to celebrate my son’s birthday. However, we didn’t enjoy the experience. The table was too small for the props and it seem very chaotic. We came to have dinner but we ended up only having drinks and appetizers due to the time we were seated and served with was close to 10 pm. At the end, we skipped desserts out of pure frustration and ended up paying 300+. Trust me I don’t mind paying for good service and good food, Barton G fell short on both. This will be my last time patronizing this restaurant.
Presentation is super impressive but they offer to take a picture of you with w e youve ordered and then take away the display .... it's only for a pic and they rush you in and out. Novelty place fun for a one time "I've been there" but would not go back ...
Our reservation was @ 6 pm on a Saturday night. We got there at 5:40 because we were told they would only hold our table 15 minutes, don't be late.
When we arrived 20 minutes early, so we were not late, the gate was closed and a valet told us "restaurant closed, open @ 6". When we asked if we could just get a drink and wait, he said No and walked away.
My wife & I walked around the neighborhood for 20 minutes. Saw some "interesting" things.
No the same as when I went 3 years ago. The service was bad and always will be bad because they automatically charge 18%. Too loud of a place to eat, had to scream to my girlfriend during dinner. We basically ate with 8 more strangers since the tables were to close to the other guests. Wont go back any time soon
It had been about five years since my last dinner at Barton G's. The quality of the food has dropped significantly, the prices are high, as they had been, but now the food doesn't live up to it. Over all it has turned into an overpriced rushed through experience that has lost its heart and soul on the way😕
After reading several reviews both good and bad this restaurant exceeded my expectations. When our group arrived we were seated immediately. The staff was very prompt tending to our request. This place is all about presentation to the next level!!! Very scenic seeing a variety of different drinks with amazing big props lol, appetizers and meals with unique presentation. The food is good!!! The lobster mac was impressive. My next visit to Miami I look forward to returning.
I did not enjoy the restaurant at all. It was too small not enough room to pass by. Waitress treated the white patrons better and gave them more specials to chose from. She just sat us in the corner and asked us what we wanted. My boyfriend's birthday was not even celebrated like i requested. It was horrible
Food was mediocre at best. Presentation was
impressive but everything was ridiculously expensive for the quality of the food. Service was poor. Had a reservation on a monday night. Restaurant was empty and despite me requesting a nice table in advance for my boyfriends birthday we were told we couldn't have a booth when we asked (several of which remained empty for the duration of our meal) and were sat at a table for 4 when there were 2 of us. $30 cocktail was watered down and you couldn't taste any alcohol. The whole thing was overrated. Meal cost $300 with drinks and was poor food with bad service. Wont be recommending.
There was some mix-up with our reservation so our table was given away and we had to wait about 45 min to be seated. However, I️ was appreciative that the host that night did what he could to make it work - I️ know mistakes happen and this was an unfortunate one but it worked out in the end.
