Barton G. The Restaurant - Los Angeles
unbelievable!!! Our waitress was amazing and super sweet (Cameron)!!!
Amazing food, amazing service, amazing environment, amazing experience! 😍😍😍
Amazing fun experience! One thing I would note is it’s not intimate and pretty loud.
Very friendly staff ,very good food , great decoration
Good food good service great presentation fun time
Waiter was rude, I specifically told him NO okra in my jambalaya, he even went to the kitchen to ask can it be taken out. Food still came with okra!! I had to pick it out, he never came and asked were we ok, did we need anything else. Another waitress brung the check and neither one came to the table to say he wasnt going to be our server and she was taking over. It was my sons 10th birthday and I'm very disappointed that you guys would treat a guest in that manner. This is my third time being here and it will OFFICIALLY BE MY LAST!!
Excellent service and amazing taste and presentation of all food
The presentation of the food and especially the deserts were just AMAZING ! I highly recommend Barton G. for a guaranteed good yet whimsical time.
Barton G’s was amazing! The food was delicious and the presentation was like no other! The service was the best we’ve had in a long time. I highly recommend going!
Food was NASTY!!! The best item on the menu is the popcorn shrimp and the popcorn was stale. I've been here many times and it keeps getting worse.
I didn’t like the little room we were sitting in, it was loud. We sat on a long bench & every time the guy at the next table moved the whole bench/seat would move. Tables are too close together.
The presentation and overall experience was amazing. Would go back again!
Very nice experience, however food was not the best.
We had so much fun at Barton G’s because it’s so different. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. You’d love it for a fun night out!!
The food was delicious. From the appetizer to the dessert. The service was outstanding. Very helpful and great 👍🏿 vibes.
My husband and I had a wonderful time there. I’m glad our daughter recommended this place.
Basically, people are just paying for the presentation at Barton G. We waited 2 hours for the food to arrive. The place was very crowded; no space between your neighbors. It feels like people at the next table are part of your table. The food was cold and prices are just unreasonable. All I experienced was seeing bunch of employees roaming with their bulky serving decors. Most likely the restaurant doesn't have enough of those serving decors. They bring out someone's food, wait for 5-10 min for the guests to take photos, then approach to take them away to serve the next once. In a way it makes sense since there's no room for those on the table anyway. You can't even see the person sitting across you at your table.
Such a fun dining experience! Excellent service and food! We will be back.
Our server was amazing! The ambience was fun, exciting and whimsical! I’d definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Cali.
SO GOOD! Went here for my 21st birthday and was not disappointed! The presentation of the food and drinks is just unlike any other restaurant. It's fun to look around the room too and see what other people got. On the pricier side but worth it for what you get!
It was a beautiful experience!
Everyone should experience this place at least once in their life. I used to come only for the presentation/drama but I noticed the food has gotten a lot better too. Kudos all around.
We stopped in LA purely to visit your restaurant and we were not disappoint. thank you for the amazing food and service, will definitely be back next time we are in USA.
Overall experience was very cool! Presentation is everything there. Service was very good, super attentive and friendly
Drove up from San Diego. Was seated immediately for our 6:30 reservation. Very small table for 2 sitting within inches of the next table. Our waiter and all the staff were very friendly and attentive. At the end of the meal we ordered the sundae as it was my birthday. Came out looking amazing with a sparkler and a piece of happy birthday chocolate. Just wished the server would have told us the size of it. It is meant for 4-6 people, no way 2 people could eat it. We didnt even make a dent in it , so if its just 2 of you , dont waste the $ 40. Overall was a great place
What a rip off! I went there to celebrate my anniversary and was so put off by the volume of children there that it actually ruined my evening. I mean there were at least 7 children running around, numerous kids screaming, and half a dozen banging toys around. Truly an awful experience. I'm actually embarrassed that I went there.
Service is excellent. Food is pretty good. Presentation is really fun. The ambiance and decor is tasteful but doesn’t match the whole over the top concept of the restaurant. Felt like we should have been eating sushi.
Our server Kamryn was wonderful! The food presentations were spectacular and I really appreciated after we took our photos they would gladly remove the presentations if wanted. My only complaint is that the tables are a little too close together, I wish they were spread out a little more.
Different experience in dinning and presentation of foods
Good food with amazing presentations. A bit spendy though.
The food was delicious but not up to par to its over the top presentation. The taste and flavor of the lobster pop tart was balanced and on point but it wasn't as flaky as described. The lawn moo-er for 2 was excellent: porterhouse melted like butter, side of onion rings crisp to perfection, the flavor of the spinach in the creamed spinach actually shone through instead of overwhelming it with cream, potato puree was great. The Marie Antoinette Head is a very impressive presentation but it is only for presentation's sake and no more. It is cotton candy with "cupcake" that seems more like a donut with filling. Perhaps they can improve on this by having a different than normal flavor cotton candy that you taste at fairs (e.g., pineapple - yellow to match hair, key lime, pomegranate) and an out-of-the-ordinary actual cupcake where an unexpected flavor frosting complements an unexpected flavor cupcake. The experience made me feel like the presentation was more important than the quality of the dishes. Overall, it was still entertaining and fun.
To me the food portions were small for the price. The way my server explained the bucket of bones and the price was confusing. I thought I was getting two orders but it turned out to be one order but double the price. The drinks were good. I enjoyed myself but the restaurant is more about the presentation and not the quantity or quality of the food.
If you’re all about presentation, then this is the place for you. You’ll pay for it, though. For me, food quality and value are very important, so I wasn’t overly impressed. The food was decent but the presentation was over the top. And, I just didn’t see the value in it. So, if you want an extreme presentation with your dining experience, this is the place for you. If you’re looking for a quality unpretentious meal, skip it.
It is all about presentation and the over the top presentation of it all is so much fun.
Had a terrific dinner. We celebrate my birthday here every year and happy to report Barton G helped make my 35th birthday dinner memorable and tasty! Service speed and quality is great and the manager is awesome too! Thank you Barton G!
The service was terrible and food was not worth the price or experience. This is NOT a classy high end restaurant.
Birthday dinner for my 17 year old princess 👸🏻
We are from out of town and we were told to check this place out by a friend who is from the area. Everyone was friendly , the food was good and the presentation was very original and creative . It was a little pricey but overall a fun experience
Excellent experience! My server Marchon (not sure about spelling) was very good, competent, great personality. The manager Horst was hilarious and fun. All service staff was attentive, except buses interrupt to take your things away while you're talking which is irritating to me but, they have to keep it moving I know, and Alex the caller who confirms reservations should find another job (yes I take names). Overall excellent as always. Will ALWAYS RECOMMEND to anyone visiting LA!!
