Great for taking photos with the food, beverages etc. Waited over an hour for our table. Food is basically glorified bar food. Good for a one time visit, won't be coming back.

My girlfriend and I went to celebrate our birthdays. Barton G's did not disappoint. It was such a nice cozy atmosphere and the food and drinks were so fun and creative, as well as delicious. Definitely a fun place to celebrate any special occasion. We had a great dining experience!

I have traveled the world and eaten at the greatest restaurants. The dinner for two was $350 no alcohol...everything great until they then asked for my id. What the hell????? I have NEVER had this happened at any restaurant EVER!!! they said they have so much frauld in their miami restaurant their insurance makes them do it. I do not know what they do in miami or who their customers are but why are they the ONLY restaurant in Southern California with over 25 million people to ask for a ID. They told me it is for my protection. I am protected my plantinum am ex and many other cards. They are protecting them selves from BAD business decisions in MIAMI. I will not go, nor have my friends go to Barton G until this is changed. They then said all restaurants do this....BULL, Per Se French laundry, and thousands of the best in the world do not do this. What an invasion of privacy

The staff was beyond incredible and made the experience the best it could possibly be. We were immediately greeted as we entered and immediately attended to as we sat down. There were no errors in our orders (we had a party of 11) and all of the food was phenomenal. The environment was definitely one I would recommend. I will most definitely be returning.

Love the concept however the staff needs to be more energetic. Little pricy so be prepared and you must order entree and sides.

Honestly I went here because I seen a lot of hype for it but this is probably one of the worst restaurants super over priced for a damn chicken $79 when you can purchase the same one from sams club
I would never recommend anyone to go there
And the presentation is not all that whatsoever!

Not to mention they sit you next to ppl you can’t even have a conversation with the person in front of you because everyone around you will know about it that’s how ridiculously they sit you next to someone

We came here to celebrate our anniversary. The presentation of everything you order is barn on the best most creative most ingenious most fabulous that you will ever see anywhere! You must order the let them eat cake for dessert! Everything is just beyond incredible!
The restaurant is small and space between tables is very tight and you will find you are most often looking at your servers butt while they're serving another table because they're right up against yours- but everything else about it was fabulous!

Delicious food, wonderful ocean view, friendly front desk staff. Server wasn’t as attentive as our table wanted but he was obviously busy with several tables and running around. He was very kind though. We will definitely be back and recommend this restaurant to friends and family

The service is really terrible. Everyone here has an attitude. It was ok for one visit, but definitely not coming back. And, it was notable that they seat blacks, Mexicans and people with children together in the back area. Essentially what they consider as the "ghetto" section-typical Hollywood attitude. In fact, the host apologized to us later for seating us in the back section since, in his words, "you are gorgeous couple."

After having a spectacular experience at Barton G in Miami, I booked LA since my bf loved his experience in Miami. Despite our fantastic waiter John Carlo, the food was good, the atmosphere was ok, and the crowd was mediocre at best. Miami Barton G is a 10 from service, food, and atmosphere. I would give LA Barton a 5. I was disappointed in the crowd and atmosphere. They told me over the phone the attire was business casual but yet men were dressed in T-shirt’s, sneakers, etc. unfortunately for the money, this place just didn’t live up to Miami in the least bit.

We waited 45 minutes without an explanation to sit down and sit and wait 15 more minutes to get no service. They finally offered us champagne, which was insulting to our group which had two recovering alcoholics. Next after more waiting the manager came up to our table to apologize with no solution other than a special dish. We asked what the dish would be and he didn’t tell us until we we kept asking. The dish was bacon wrapped popcorn, complimentary of the restaurant. Unfortunately, once again, two in our group were vegetarians. They did not ask us what we wanted, offer us water, or drinks. The communication was terrible and they just sat there waiting. I am extremely empathetic but this place does not value customer service, rather money. I am extremely disappointed in this restaurant. I am not a tourist, I am a local, who tried to bring out of town guests to somewhere special, an experience, the would remember. They will remember, to never go back.

The Barton G food presentation was interesting. More gaudy than classy but definitely fun. Everything was delicious. Everything was a party in your mouth - especially the drinks. We skipped dessert because people at tables on either side of us said the didn't like their choices. Seating is tight. Tables are small. There were lots of small children making it feel more like a place for teens. Service was overtly un-friendly. People next to us complained about the attitude but we decided to ignore our servers attempt to rush us since we had a different waiter. I thought the phone call to confirm our reservation & make a big point of telling me all my guests had to order a full meal was rude. This place seems focused on moving tables fast catering to tourists rather than building repeat customers. Indeed we were surrounded by people from out of town with thick southern accents. Last but not least the decor lacked luster.

I expect excellent food when i dine out - that goes without saying. This place did not disappoint in the yummy department. But a place that's supposed to be fun should have fun service that makes you feel good. Barton G is not friendly.

We came for the cotton candy wig but quickly realize that there was so much more. I really loved the promptness of the servers. It’s a moderately small restaurant that could be avoid if the tables and chairs where taking away, ever though they where packed the services was on point. 5 stars all the way.

This place is like the circus, everything you see makes you turn your head and go “wow”! Really cool to see.!
However, food took roughly an hour and twenty minutes to come out. We ordered 3 orders of mini sliders $27 for two pieces each (does not come with any fries), and lobster Mac & cheese $32 for mains; there was no lobster in our Mac and cheese.and there’s no way it takes over an hour to make sliders and mac & cheese. Food was mediocre, presentation was amazing, service was pretty lame, price is extremely high (bill came out to $255 + suggested tip $44 for 4 people) we did not order any alcohol, got a few of those mock tail drinks(they were pretty disgusting) and it’s freezing here; like hypothermia cold! Glad I got to experience it once, 200% I’d never come back though.

I’ve been here before and had a great experience so I came back with my boyfriend. It was his first time and I was raving about how amazing the food and everything was but unfortunately that wasn’t the case this time. My boyfriend ordered the ribeye and asked for it to be medium rare and when the dish came, the meat was a little colder than room temperature and the way it was prepared looked like well done. There was absolutely no juice or any pink color. We would have sent it back but we were so hungry and didn’t want to wait but it still should come out right the first time. There was also no bread to start with which I remember having the first time. I think every high end or more expensive restaurant should at least have some complimentary bread to start, especially at a steakhouse or a restaurant that takes longer preparing food. Also, it was so hard to catch the attention of our waiter. She came by only once for refills after I waved her down and it took 15 minutes for her to bring the check back after we’d paid. I understand they might have been busy but a simple apology or more staff would’ve been appreciated. I don’t think I’ll be returning after this last experience because it’s simply not worth the money.

Really fun. Extravagant, but worth it. Went for mother-daughter time with a 13-year old. She was crazy for it - very Insta-worthy. Food was really good too! Plan to spend some $, but also relax and enjoy the theatrical presentations and diners sitting next to you from around the world. Awesome service.
