Great place for a pre-theater dinner or drinks! Quick and friendly service and good selection of American/pub food options. Food is well-prepared and comes in generous portions. There are a lot of different seating options (high and low tables, booths, longer tables) to accommodate different types of groups.

Starters came after the mains.
We got the wrong dish, waitress made excuses and didn’t fix it.
Disappointed, will take a break from this place.

Excellent food and great atmosphere - 3 of us came here for lunch and ordered several appetizers and entrees. Everything was delicious and the french fries are some of the best in the world according to one of our party members.

Great place for a casual discussion, business luncheon, or pre-theater dining!

Very unique setting, enjoyed the vibe. A little slow to get initially served but after that our waitress was excellent. The food was very good, got the wings, Mac and cheese, and an impossible burger. Price is reasonable for the City. The house craft beer was excellent. I would definitely return again.

I had a nice kale salad and a decent glass of wine. This place is just a brewery/sports bar but the bar food is slightly more elevated. It ended up being ok for what we needed, which was a casual place to go with kids.

The service was great and the food was tasty. The restaurant is noisy - so don't go if you need an intimate conversation. A fun place for dinner!

This restaurant is convenient to Golden Gate Theatre and ACT so ideal for a pre-theatre meal. The restaurant does a thriving happy hour (until 6:00) on weekdays so it can be quite loud if you are there before a 7:00 curtain. Entrees are more 'bar' than 'fine dining.' I particularly enjoyed the sausage plate.

We sat at a regular table in the back so the noise level was fine. The bar area is noisier if this is what you are looking for. We had great service, great food, and look forward to coming back.

It took awhile for the waiters to get to you. I had to wait for over ten minutes to get their attention. Not sure if the staff were over work or just tired. Just not worth the CX for that kind of money,

Love this place. Pizza and wings were really good. I brought 6 of my friends here. Some of them were a bit messy and they gave us a table away from the other people...because we needed to get it together. Our server was patient and really accommodating. Girls had drinks and said they were good. I enjoyed buratta salad, pizzas, and wings! Thank you, Bartlett Hall, for making us feel better.

Alexandra was by far the WORST server I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve been in the service industry for 10 years and I’ve never experienced anything like this ever. She took 25 minutes to greet us and barely checked on us ever, she needs a new occupation because she has 0 people skills she was so rude and unattentive. I’ve been a waitress forever and I’m so patient and it takes a lot to bother me but she was so bad it was unbelievable. She ran my card for two extra transactions and never even told me she messed up she just brought me back the original receipts and added a $10 tip?! I had to chase her down to give me the voided transaction receipt that she wasn’t even planning on telling me she messed up on.

Food was excellent. It was a super busy Saturday night so we didn't get great service, and by that I mean when only saw our server when she was bringing the food we ordered and she wasn't able to come on check on us so we could order more drinks or get water refills. My main issue was that the chips and salsa, which cost $5 dollars, and which we only ordered so we could have something to snack on before our real food came out, came out with all of our food and had a total of maybe 12 chips. And in my opinion is ridiculous for 5 dollars. Not worth the value at all. And even thought online i reserved a restaurant table we were sat at a high top in the bar area that was very closely wedged between two other hightops and we could very clearly hear our neighbors conversations. Overall great experience though. Would recommend to a friend and definitely will visit again.

This is our third time here. The service is always great and the food is fantastic. The tempura buffalo cauliflower is a don’t miss. Full disclosure, we do get the sauce and blue cheese on the side. They must have a magical deep fryer because all of the fried dishes, from French fries, sweet potato fries and fish and chips are perfectly fried. Good clean oil at the absolute perfect temperature shows. Outstanding cheeseburger, medium order came a bit more medium rare but we actually like that better. They also offer an Impossible burger that is cooked perfectly. If you’ve ever had one and not been impressed, it’s because it was over cooked. We haven’t had a bad meal. Great bar area, good selection of house specialty cocktails and very good variety of draft beers and ciders. We can’t stop talking about this awesome find, and the prices are reasonable. Not gouging like some other places in the general area.

Bartlett Hall offers a discount if you have tickets to an ACT play, & it's walking distance, which is why we chose it. When we got there I was dismayed by the CROWDS at the BAR & the loud music but the hostess seated us right away (20 minutes before our reservation) & in the back, where the 'regular tables' are, it wasn't so noisy. In fact, it was nice! Our server was great, when asked she offered suggestions on beers & entrees. Food came up pretty quick. We got our theater discount & since we had time we ordered dessert, which was this excellent caramel cake that was rich but not sickly-sweet. It was a good spot, we will definitely return when we're going to ACT next!

Grabbed a quick bite before a show at the Curran. It was easy to get to and the service was quick, so no worries about being late. Our waitress was very responsive but had little to no personality. She did not say more than 10 words to us it seemed. The food was very good - turkey club, mahi mahi tacos and fish and chips were very tasty. My husband was also very pleased by the variety of beers too.

I found Bartlett because I wanted to spend Christmas Day in the city (from the East Bay) and it was open with reservation times available on Open Table. I loved the menu, my drink and the food, I’m already thinking about when I’ll be back. Between me and my friend we got a salad, Mac and cheese and a burger then finished off the meal with bread pudding for dessert. I took half of my burger home and it was still delicious the next day!
