Barrique Venice
You no longer have to go Venice to experience an authentic wine bar, as Barrique Venice is ready to serve you. The wine cellar at this place is worthy of the admiration of the most avid of collectors, and the finger foods pair well with your favorite red or white bottle.
Barrique Venice is a great place to go out with the girlfriends, enjoy some nice music and great conversation, all with impeccable service. The soft meat, vegetable and cheese platters are always a hit as well, and are expertly prepared at Barrique Venice. The next time you're out in Venice, head on over for a fantastic time.
Great valentines dinner!
Wonderful service delicious food
We love Barrique so much. We both always get the beet pasta because it’s simply the best. The service is incredible. We are so grateful this is our neighborhood date spot!
Amazing. Food and ambiance. No complaints.
Absolutely wonderful
Tony Black is fantastic! You must visit and eat here.
The squid ink pasta we ordered was rather flavorless. Amount of crab in dish minimal. can't remember the name of the other dish we ordered which was also not that great. My wife and I did like the sea bass in a reduction sauce which was perfectly cooked.
Overall, totally not worth the money spent. Could have gone to any old "Italian" restaurant and had a much tastier meal for a better price.
I will say that Alessandro was a delight and was the only real highlight of the experience here. Would not go back again.
One of my favorite restaurants in LA. I always bring my Mom here when she visits. Also, it's an amazing date spot. VERY VIBEY. The entire staff is Italian & the food itself is very authentic. Fresh pasta, fresh food, and quality service. Definitely, my favorite Italian place I have been to. Highly recommend this place.
Our first time at Barrique and it did not disappoint. Appetizer sizes were larger than expected. Home made pastas were fabulous yummy. It's very cozy in that tables are very close together, but both couples were extremely nice and we had some fun conversations. Huge selection of wines, almost all Italian. Had a bottle of Syrah from Sicily. Service was very friendly. Did not feel rushed at all.
Barrique is a great place for dates--the atmosphere is charming as are the mostly Italian staff. I am working my way through its menu and so far every dish has been well executed.
There is one dish to get here.
Had the worst table (right on top of the stairs to the kitchen - way too much traffic) but the food made up for it.
Our fifth time eating at restaurant, and as always, most impressed! We're never disappointed.
Very romantic, great service, welcoming environment.
Bday. Great spot. You’ll love it.
Did not have pleasant welcome when we arrived 10 minutes early for res. Waited total of 25 minutes for a table. Menu selection was not veggie or gluten free friendly. Portions were very small. Wine by the glass was $22, w/ very mediocre pour. My sparkling water was filled up with tap water when wasn't looking. No price was supplied for the fish special which was $39 when bill came. However, the food was tasty. Thought it was overpriced. I won't return.
Great menu only limited by the desert options. Ordered chocolate soufflé and was served a melting middle chocolate pudding. No desert in a proper restaurant should come served with spray cream it cheapens the dish. And as an Italian restaurant there really should be a tiramisu on the desert menu.
Being super picky but given the rest of the menu, the service and the atmosphere was impeccable this would simply be advice to take an amazing meal to the level of outstanding.
Highly recommend dining here - best local restaurant in Venice by a long way.
Amazing food, service and ambience. Loved it! The beet pasta is out of this world!!
The service was very good with extremely good description of the menu. Upstairs room was very nice until a party of eight sat behind us at which point the noise level went through the roof. Much louder than a normal gathering. We could barely hear each other talk as the entire room raised their voices to compete with the table of eight.
Not the direct problem of the restaurant; however, I should have been more observant or perhaps the hostess might have warned us of the potential issue. This detracted from an otherwise nice evening out.
This place is simply the best! The food is great & the service is great!
Had a nice family dinner at this Venice hot spot. Service was excellent, food and wine even better. The 5 of us shared the grilled octopus, burrata with aged prosciutto, and caprese salad starters...all very good. Everyone loved the pasta dishes that they ordered...but my cocoa infused pasta with wild boar was simply to die for. Their pasta specialty is the beet pasta with quail ragu over a cheese fondue. Two in our party ordered this and immediate,y understood why it was a best seller. Good wine selection, and a great chocolate molten lava cake (on the small side) to top off the night. A fun evening...great ambiance, service, and food. Highly recommend.
It’s consultant and perfect every time.
Great dinner, friendly people. Really loved it.
By far, one of my favourite restaurants. The scallop appetiser was incredible. The Taglioni Rossi was one of the best pastas I’ve ever had. Service was warm, friendly. Highly recommend this place.
Amazing simple authentic Italian food in a gorgeous setting.
Food is always great but the bread and one dish came out cold. Also, asked for a full bodied wine and they recommended a pretty light red which I wouldn’t care too much about if it wasn’t an $80 bottle.
But overall the food is amazing and I love this place.
Amazing food and service! Will definitely return!
Nice ambience, with a converted loft or cottage feel. Ceiling has exposed beams, but tables are close together and felt like we were dining with another couple whose table was inches away. Wine list is mostly Italian wines, that are very pricey, and very few domestic choices. Suggested wine bottle was good, but was in the low $100s range, which is about the mean there. Food was excellent, but the noise level, close tables, and expensive wine list were a challenge, and took away from the overall experience.
Absolutely incredible food and wine.
Great food and service, highly recommend it. We will definitely go back
Very disappointed. Overpriced and food wasn’t that great. There are plenty of other restaurants to choose from, that are superior value, and quality. I won’t be repeat customer. Very disappointed.
Spectacular. Tony is a wonderful owner /host.
So gentle, he really accommodate us and our baby and had a once in year night out
Very nice, great setting, friendly staff, not cheap though.
Great little hole in the wall you might miss otherwise. Food is fantastic.
We love Barrique so much! Easy valet or street parking, GREAT service, and the best part... the phenomena Italianl food!
Beautiful and delicious
Somewhere between a home cooking meal with imagination and passion
Love it every time.
Paulo was an outstanding server! Very educated, pleasant, and helpful. Food was authentic. Restaurant was genuine. Thank you.
Great food and service . Always a top Italian meal in Los Angeles .
Best authentic italian restaurant in LA, the pasta is handmade and awesome. Very friendly service.
The ambiance is cute and romantic, the food was amazing, and our server was fantastic. Our only small complaint is that it did take a long time for our entrees while those around us seemed to get theirs quicker. Would definitely return!
