Barrique Venice is a great place to go out with the girlfriends, enjoy some nice music and great conversation, all with impeccable service. The soft meat, vegetable and cheese platters are always a hit as well, and are expertly prepared at Barrique Venice. The next time you're out in Venice, head on over for a fantastic time.

Loved it - service was great and food was delicious. A little expensive but the quality of food was definitely worth it! And thoughtfully curated wine list!
The wine list is expansive which is great. However, the selection lacks balance with both reasonably priced bottles and overly priced, special ones. Another way to look at the problem- there are too many 3 digit priced bottles compared to medium/ high, two digit bottles.
Food and service were outstanding
Scallops and Octopus were terrific, as we're the wild boar and lobster pastas. Cheesecake and mousse with macchiatos capped off a great date night
Estupena cena con un ambiente muy agradable! Muy recomendable!
Wonderful experience! Chef and Tony are the best. We had a wonderful meal, great food, great ambiance and incredible service! I’d go back any time.
Veal was outstanding so are the scallops, and lobster linguine, you can skip the cheesecake....great ambiance
Hidden gem that is well worth the effort to find it.
Already looking forward to the next visit...
I go to Barrique at least once a month for the best ambiance, experience, and quality food. Appetizer to desert is all incredible. I’ve tried almost everything on the menu at this point and you can’t go wrong with any of it. The staff is my favorite part. They are always so pleasant and conversational, very knowledgeable about the wine menu, and there when you need them. Hands down one of my favorite restaurants in Venice.
Everything was exquisite! The only other time I’ve had pasta this fresh & bursting with flavor was in Italy. The service was phenomenal as well. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff!
Wonderful food and effortful service on a thunderstorm night to keep us dry and indulged. Blessed by one of few outdoor tables available during the storm, otherwise inside noise level would have diminished the experience. Amazing "pink ocean trout" carpaccio and pappardelle with rabbit ragu. Highly recommend.
Very glad I went
This is an incredible gem of a restaurant! Service was impeccable and the food is beautiful and delicious. A bit pricey but worth it.
Barrique Venice is a lovely restaurant. From the moment you arrive, to the food and the wine, everything was just exquisite. Italian’s are always so welcoming and caring of their guests. I took my boyfriend to Barrique to celebrate his birthday and he said it was the best Italian food he’s ever had. If you’re looking for the best of the best, please visit Barrique :). Grazie!
My first time here was June of 2021, after a pleasant evening i returned later in September. My second time was less pleasant. The area of Venice had changed and because of this i requested inside dinning. I was told this wasn't possible. I understood and was seated outside. I noticed a few differences of the outdoor seating( i sat outside the first time). The outside seating seemed less clean, and there was an poisonous oder, this wasn't the well kept candle lit area i was expecting. Our waiter was friendly and i was excited to try the octopus again along with a new appetizer. Our appetizers arrived quickly, i was disappointed in the octopus because it was tough. It took me awhile to get the waiters attention in order to make my complaint. I noticed the person who waited on me the first time giving another table excellent service. The scallops were amazing and we ordered our second course. i found the duck good but the ragu a bit too salty. I thought the food was good but scaled against the price its just okay. This restaurant can be great and I've experienced it, unfortunately i left this night second-guessing a return.
Fabulous. Owner gave us a glass of champagne on the house to celebrate our anniversary to start the evening. All food was fabulous, and great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend!!
Great food and service, would recommend.
One of my first outdoor dining experiences in LA in awhile and was looking for some place new that I had not been to. I selected this based off the all around
The food was amazing but the price classification on open table needs to be adjusted. It shows $$ and dishes under $30. The antipasti appetizers were ~ $20, the pastas themselves were around $30 and the secondi entrees $39-42. A 4-piece rack of lamb $50, equivalent to a fancy steak house. Not that these prices are out of line with what was served, they weren’t. The food was excellent. However, one might be misled by the $$. Expect cozy and casual atmosphere but upscale food priced accordingly at $$$ and you won’t be disappointed.
We had a wonderful evening. Great wine, food and service. Thank you Emilio!
Terrific. Great dishes. Attentive staff.
This was our first time but not our last. The ambience and service was really perfect but the food was exquisite. Every item we ordered was delicious. I seriously wanted to clap every time I took a bite. Thank you for a very special and memorable experience.
Fabulous food! Great service! Cozy outdoor atmosphere.
Really wonderful dinner celebrating my new job! Everything was delicious. The scallops were to die for, although the portions for this particular dish were very small (2 scallops). The pastas were delicious as well. Overall, exceptional food, great service, nice ambiance.
amazing as always
perfect food service atmosphere etc
We dined at Barrique to celebrate my husband‘s birthday – the food was phenomenal!
Hard to find pleasant service right now at restaurants due to staff shortage but here everyone was super nice and helpful.
First time dining at Barrique amazing food and we enjoyed every thing. Service was implacable. All the very best to every one for your hard work.
Soooo delicious. Great food, service, and ambiance. I cannot wait to go back!
My husband and I were visiting from San Diego. We wanted a good dining experience. Everything was great, the food and the service. The outdoor patio is quaint. We were very happy with our experience given the way covid has impacted the restaurant industry. We look forward to dining again during our next visit.
Excellent all around
What an amazing evening, from food, mood, wine [omg the wine list]
We celebrated my husband's birthday and wanted a romantic date night, it was the perfect place for that! Thank you again, will be back!
Love love love Barrique but have to say the meal wasn’t up to the usual standards. Everything just seemed to be a bit off from normal quality. Beer pasta was very pale, truffles a little flavorless, tastes were good but not the usual GREAT! Hope the next visit will be back to superb!
Great throughout! The wild board ragu was fantastic and the beet pasta was even better. Both wines the waiter recommended were great
Very friendly and wonderful staff. We were greeted immediately and always had someone taking care of our every need. The food was authentic, delicious, flavorful and good sized portions.
We started with a seasonal special of beet carpaccio, well executed, fresh and outstanding creamy buratta. drizzled with evoo and black rock salt.
Our next dish was the Paccheri alla Norma, the most delicious tomato sauce with egglplant, peppers and huge noodles and the dry ricotta was a nice touch.
We then had Branzino and Ribeye. Both were exquisite.
For dessert the cheesecake with orange blossom. delicate and fluffy with a nice textured crust.
10/10 will be back again. Bravo!
Dining at Barique is an event. We walked through the patio seating into the adorable little yellow house, past the bustling kitchen and it’s amazing smells and up the stairs to the cozy dining room. It was a beautiful, cool evening so we chose to sit on the balcony. As we walked by every staff member, we were greeted. We felt like “regulars”.
The food was just wonderful! We had scallops with parmigiana and shaved black truffle truffle , prosciutto with burrata, Red beet pasta with quail ragu (eveyone had recommended this dish!) and our server Michael’s choice of wines. We had a light dessert but it was just perfect, two kinds of mousse layered on a hazelnut crisp.
Everything was delicious and I cannot wait to go back again the next time we are in town!
There was an hour delay between our appetizers and main courses. Staff - including someone who might have been an owner - didn't communicate. The food was over-salted. The "al dente" pasta was mushy.
The food was surprisingly good: each dish was excellent. Additionally, the wine choice - a 2010 half bottle of Brunello di Montalcino - was also good: well-matured, interesting and suited to our different dishes. (The wine list is extensive and I don’t know enough about wine to fairly assess it but it looked impressive to me. We were pleased to be able to good half bottle because the list is pricy.)
The service was also excellent, within the constraints of crowded, outside dining. This would easily be a five star review if we were in a decent dining room with adequate table space and distance between tables. We were bumping elbows, having to move our plates around and even stack the bread plates at one point, up against a wall on on side and 18” from the next table on the other. It was not at all a pleasant atmosphere or a relaxed meal.
Hopefully this kitchen and staff can find a better space to shine.
Wonderful all around!!
It was a little difficult to find and the signage was a bit small, but once there, we were enchanted. Every item was delicious and Michael, our server, was delightful, and helpful. We shall return.
