Loved it!!! One of my favorite spots!
Barrios Margaritas are very good-I had the avocado margarita this visit and it was excellent! Guac is great as well as the salmon. The patio is great for dining. We will be back soon!
Great tasting food, variety enough for my diverse family, accommodated special requests, friendly service, attractive furnishings and atmosphere.
Great food and great service! Our group enjoyed sitting outside in the patio, but wished the heaters were working.
Great food. Not your run of the mill Mexican restaurant. Fantastic service, unique margaritas, overall high quality for a fair price.
I like how the restaurant keep every table at safe distance, corns is a bit burnt but the only problem
What we had?
Starters: Complimentary Chips & Salsa, TRADITIONAL SMASHED GUACAMOLE & QUESO FUNDIDO
Entrees: FISH TACO, LAMB BARBACOA TACO & ROASTED CHICKEN ENCHILADA with sides of: Refried Beans, Spanish Brown Rice & Mexican Street Corn
Opinion: Everything we ate was presented great. Everything was hot. Everything was delicious. Service was prompt, friendly and attentive. We will return.
The table for four we where we were seated, on the patio, was about a foot ( if that much) from another table of four. It made us very uncomfortable in this time of Covid 19. We should have asked to be moved. You need to distance the tables, in certain areas of the patio, more far apart.
Amazing food and fantastic margaritas. Can not recommend the guava marg enough!
Great patio. Good fish tacos. Beautiful day. We will do it again.
Best enchiladas in town. This isnt Tex Mex. it is fresh Guatemalan flair food. Chips and salsa excellent.
We ordered quesadillas and quacamole. The quacamole was good but the quesadillas were not worth the money. There was hardly any meat or cheese in the quesadillas. It was all tortilla for $14. That's ridiculous. The service was very slow. We hardly got checked on by our server, maybe because the restaurant gave her too many tables. We weren't sure why we didn't get our drinks refilled. We won't be back. Barrios is too expensive for what you get. To end on a good note, the patio is a nice place to have a drink.
I hadn't been here in a while, but I was very surprised by how great the food and drinks were. I would say it was a touch pricey for what is essentially Tex-Mex, but that will not deter me from going again. I had the pork rib enchiladas and my date had the mushroom sopes. Both very delicious! The habanero margarita was also fantastic!
Good take on Latin food. Liked that there is more space between tables, it was not as loud as before Covid-19.
Food was great and so was Lisa! We always enjoy the outdoor area.
Great food and awesome service!! The margaritas are yummy too.
Such a great place! We had the queso fundito to start...amazing. Then we had the special which was a lobster and red pepper enchiladas and two sides! The Mexican street corn is legit! Also had a pain killer and a cheech n Chong! The waitress was so sweet and the ambience was spectacular:)
Great as always
Wonderful location and wonderful but extremely unique food. Not your usual Tex-Mex that’s for sure.
Cute place, but way overpriced. We shared fajita's and had two tea's and one dessert and the bill was almost $40. I asked for a side of guacamole(which I basically got a spoonful and was charged $3.00 for it. Then my husband ordered dessert(tiny sopapillas about five of them and it was $8.00
Just too pricey for what you get in return.
we didn’t get seated for our reservation right away which was fine because we were a little late to and I called to make sure that was ok. But as my husband was trying to still finish, the waiter kept wanting to take stuff.. like the chips etc. we weren’t there very long. you gotta hustle right along..or at least we felt like this more so on this trip there. we like it though and will try again but it was a little rushed.
Barrios is my favorite restaurant in Oklahoma City. They have consistently good food and always have wonderful service.
Great overall with the exception of our waiter wearing his mask below his nose.
Every time we have been to Barrio’s we have had a wonderful experience. Their food is classic, but upscale and you get a nice portion size for the price. I have tried several of their margaritas. Each time, I have enjoyed the combination of flavors and pour size. Barrio’s makes a point to serve local beers, and I love that they carry Coop Ale Works beers (shop local) as well as several Mexican beer options. Don’t miss out, if you have a chance, to have their house made sangria, you won’t be disappointed!
On days that are not scalding Oklahoma hot, the patio is a special oasis in the middle of the city. Shielded from the wind that often “comes sweeping down the plains,” they have fans and a fireplace for chilly weather.
On our most recent visit, I had the brisket enchiladas and they were flavorful and had amazing flavor. We NEVER miss out on the opportunity to have their Mexican corn, as it is a perfect summer compliment to any dish.
Food was just ok but not very much food for the $$$. They don’t seem to have much knowledge on gluten free except to say they are not a gluten free facility. Duh!! Most restaurants aren’t but they accommodate you. No suggestions were really given. I was on my own. Probably won’t make a point to go back for awhile or at all. Just wasn’t impressive. I haven’t seen it really busy in there since they opened. We are usually just passing by to go somewhere else but thought we’d give it another try today. Our total ticket was like $81 and we hardly got any food. I came home to grab a snack.
No fault of the restaurant, but we were outside and the flies were horrible, otherwise Ambiance would have been 5 stars because their patio is beautiful.
Came for a going away party, we had an excellent and attentive waitress!
The chips were terrible taste like churros. The salsa was bland. The taco was average.
Barrios always delivers. Tried the hot chicken sopas for the first time and was in LOVE. The black beans with agave on this dish were to die for. And as usual the margs were perfect. I'm a fan of the guava habanero marg in particular!
Our favorite OKC spot
Excellent food...homemade chips and the best salsa. Appreciate their social distancing with tables!
Barrios is definitely in my top 5 okc restaurants if not #1 !!
Great food, good service, fantastic cocktails. Got a bit loud and crowded inside beginning at 6:30. Lots of parking. A few flies that were relentless inside. For the most part, a great dining experience. Patio space outside seemed popular even in 91+ temps. Good came out quick, wait staff was attentive, and manager did a “table touch.” Would return but only for an early dinner or during lunch.
The guacamole had no flavor. Nobody was impressed with their meal in our party of 6. Got great reviews not sure how! Flies were taking over our table!
It was great
Excellent place to meet friends! The food was outstanding and drinks were wonderful! The service was on point. Billy was friendly and very helpful! We used open table to reserve our spot and our table was ready without a wait! We will come back!
Our waitress was great and so was the food! Thank you!
Outstanding chips and salsa. Cold beer. Nice smiles!
