   Fish tacos and burrito were delicious. The trio fajitas were disappointing. Flavor was good but we only received 2 shrimp. Chicken and beef were a little skimpy. There were more veggies than meats and shrimp. Service was excellent.

   Went here with my friends for our prom dinner and honestly, it was a disappointing experience. When we sat down, our waiter didn’t even bother to bring out the complementary chips and salsa, which is something every table around has had. We waited 40 minutes after placing our order and still didn’t get them, so we had to flag down a completely different waiter because ours was nowhere to be found. When the appetizer finally came out, it was cold and it arrived just 3 minutes before the entrées, which kind of defeated the purpose of ordering it. To make it worse, about half the plates at our table were cold too. The food itself was alright, but nothing special, and definitely not worth the long wait or poor service. Overall, the service was honestly terrible and it really put a damper on what was supposed to be a fun night for all of us. Wouldn’t recommend this place, especially if you’re going for a special occasion.

   We had reservations and because they moved people from outside to inside we would have had over a 30 minute wait with reservations. Not our fault people didn’t look at the forecast! We had to set at the bar which those people are bartenders not servers although they tried their best! Food was good as always, this is the first review I have not left great remarks for Barrio Queen!

   The Barrio Pollo was served dry with no queen sauce. We asked for a side of queen sauce however it was watered down and had no flavor. The Barrio Deshebarado was bland and neither the barrio deshe or pollo had cheese which is per usual any other store. They were also out of 20oz mugs so we had to purchase 16 oz glasses of beer which was not a huge deal but the value is less. Service was okay but not over the top. My opinion is that when the food or service are not up to par with other stores that is a poor or weak management issue. Won’t return to this store.

   Our food was delicious. The service was very prompt. The menu was very innovative overall we had a wonderful experience.

   This was by far the worst experience I’ve had at Barrio Queen. The service was very slow. I asked for napkins multiple times and never got them. Our waitress was MIA for most of the time. We had a reservation at 745 and didn’t eat till almost 945. The table side guacamole was not as good as it usually is, absolutely no salt. I ordered the chopped salad which is my favorite food item and got half a portion of what I usually get and the shrimp was very overcooked. My friends and family also said some of the meat in their tacos was overcooked and chewy. One of my friends got a different taco than what she order. I was so disappointed as I’ve eaten at Barrio Queen several times at the Tempe location and never had this experience. I will most likely not return and will definitely not be going back to the Gilbert location.

   Very good and Dominique was awesome. Food very good. Fish tacos needed more fish. Margarita’s were weak, too much ice

    Server was nice enough but certainly not as attentive and efficient as could have been. Reservation for 5 and seated at a table with silverware and plates for 4 - had to ask for another setting. Spilled salsa on table and menu - took messy menu but didn't not do anything to clean up messy salsa cup or spots on table. Forgot to bring requested cup of ice with iced tea - and had to ask for sweetner. Place was almost deserted but it was a bit in between visits so we could get refills. Service just seemed a bit slow/casual especially given that it was not busy. Food was good.
