Food was great, loved the patio. Lots of heaters. The patio was located between two buildings which helped with keeping us a bit warmer. David, our server, was great! Super friendly, and was really helpful with suggestions on what to eat and drink. Overall, happy with our dining experience. Will be back.
Service was excellent. Food was good. Mojito wasn't very good though. Barely any alcohol. Balance was off.
This restaurant had great food and ambiance. It was an enjoyable experience.
Food and drink was exceptional. Service was to the point, but good.
Great service, enjoyed the cauliflower & the ambience!
Warm patio! The food was great, so were the drinks!
I could tell they were very surprised for the mad rush of customers who came in when the weather got nice, but they worked hard and fast and we were able to get our food quickly.
Nice patio with heaters facing park.
Friendly service good food, but drinks overpriced.
A great Mexican place with a cute little patio in a place that looks like a backyard. The walls have been decorated with street art staying true to the Mexican way of doing things!
We are a no meat/seafood couple and we had no troubles. Their menu has so many options and really good portion size. Loved the barrio bowl and the passion fruit cocktail. Would definitely drop by again!
The food was delicious!!! It’s a little pricey but it was worth it! It took a little long for the waiter to take our order but overall, great service.
Just a casual meet up with an old friend. Server read the table well and realized we were catching up. Just checked in for quality after food came and got us drinks right away. Very good quality Mexican food.
Wonderful place and wonderful people.
Special thanks to Dominic.
Our Saturday night, on the patio at Barrio, was great.
Our server, Brian, was knowledgeable, attentive and patient with us. We are looking forward to our next visit!
The service was by far the best I’ve received in the city. Staff was so so kind and gave us complimentary champagne for our anniversary celebration. Food is a bit of a smaller portion, but it does fill you up. Overall amazing.
Great food. Enchiladas were like so delicious. Amazing
Amazing food and our server was perfect ! Very attentive
Great food and service. Will definitely be going back.
Awesome patio, great place to go with friends! The fish tacos are great!
Great service. Would recommend and will be back. Food was delicious and so were the cocktails.
Food is great, loved the patio, and drinks are incredible. Our server David was very attentive and made sure we were well taken care of! Highly recommend this restaurant and I will definitely go back!
Bryan was such an amazing server! We really enjoyed our dinner and drinks
The side deck was not socially distanced with tables 6 ft apart and the hostess was standing right behind us speaking with customers and was also not 6 ft away from our table.
Such a lively & beautiful little Mexican restaurant in Toronto with a vibrant outdoor patio and delicious drinks. My friends and I had the ceviche as an appetizer and it was stellar... usually not a huge fan of ceviche but this dish was an easy 10/10. Our server was also very knowledgable and super friendly. Loved the tacos. Would 100% recommend.
It was a great experience for a first timer like me and my friend. Staffs are really friendly and accommodating.
Our server was the best! She killed a bee for us that was bothering us during our stay on the patio. Then provided us with another guacamole dip because the bee was hovering around our first dip. Amazing service and everyone was so friendly! The tacos were fantastic. Definitely recommend!
I would not recommend going here during covid, the system of getting food and drinks is weird. The service was horrible, staff was not friendly. You have to go and serve yourself your own food and drinks and walk to your table. I should have just tipped myself. The servers won’t even get you water, you have to walk to the other side of the restaurant for anything you need. Food was ok, I liked the guacamole and chips.
Came from King West area and so glad we did. Fantastic food! Ordered the nachos with chicken and street corn. Best nachos I’ve had in Toronto! Prices certainly match the portion size you receive as well which is great. Had their watermelon margarita which tasted so refreshing! Staff was friendly. Really enjoyed our first time there and will definitely be back.
This place is our favourite spot in the city. The patio is amazing. Food and drinks are so good and the service is paramount!
The vegetarian dishes were tasty and had great flavor. Also, the drinks were very tasty.
Great for tacos! Our server was great too!
Food was delicious (had tres amigos for appetizer and stuffed chicken breast for main) but service was atrocious. Waiters not attentive or proactive, kept having to call them over. The tables by the door are very closed and like other reviewers, we had to keep getting up to close the door so the draft wouldn't come in, as the host clearly didn't care. Only reducing by one star because not sure if this poor service is consistent or if we caught them on a bad night. Likely won't come back though.
Good food especially the guac, a little expensive for what you get. $20 for 3 tiny tacos (4' tortillas). Restaurant was cute. Service was terrible, had to wait a long time for service across the whole dinner and when we had to get up and actually approach our server in order to get our cheque, he was visibly annoyed. Lots of other Mexican places in the area that I would go to instead after this experience.
It honestly wasn’t bad at all, my only complaint is the kitchen was super backed up because of the Valentine’s Day rush, and the service was very very poor. They rarely checked in on us, and the food took so long to come out, and the food was a little on the cold side.. but it still tasted pretty good. Will try it out in the summer because of their patio. Also recommend the house beer “Barrio” super tasty.
Booked for Valentines Day dinner, was not too busy, lots of open tables, yet we were limited to 2 hours. Food is excellent, Music is terrible and too loud.
Been here 4 times, and the ambiance always makes it a pleasant visit.
Great neighbourhood place. We went during Winterlicious to try it out and will be going back. Drinks were great, but disappointed that the taps were not working that day. The ensalata del puerto and crispy quesadillas were tasty as were the enfrijolladas de pollo, picaditas con carnitas. The churros and arroz con leche finished up the meal beautifully. I didn't give it a very good for food because of the tacos the camaron: shrimp were tender but the three of us who ordered them were expecting more flavour and spicyness given that they were made with salsa diabla and guacamole.
Good food, good Mexican vibe with the music and decor. Service was a little slow but some of the staff were new. Very friendly and helpful though.
Thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Wait staff was very good.
Loved the feel of the room quite lively.
Food was very good and well portioned.
Great food in a nice location. Recommend trying the tacos. They are quite nice. The churros are also quite tasty
Love your restaurant and go often but I made a reservation for 8:30 pm and when I showed up I was informed that the kitchen was closed and that "open table needs to be updated". I had friends visiting from out of town and we had to find somewhere else to eat dinner because you had incorrect information online. This isn't the first time I've showed up at your restaurant only to be told that you're closed/closing. You need to update your information online (Google Maps, Open Table, anywhere else) so that people can actually make reservations and accurately know your hours of operation. Pretty disappointing.
