Barrica
Food was excellent and a nice change from the usual offering on high streets. Service was great although a little slow, but this is likely down to the busy nature of the restaurant. The wine selection was great and our choice was a great accompaniment to the meal. Can’t wait to dine here again.
Excellent tapas. Friendly service. Very reasonable price.
The best place for food lover, the tapas are incredibles. It's a Michelin resto so don't expect huge food quantities. It's a bit pricey but worth 1000 times for the quality of the food, wine and service. Ideal place for a date or friends party
Loved this place. Fantastic, genuinely interesting food and knowledgeable service.
I can only imagine how great it is without the masks and having to shut at 10pm.
I'll be back, covid or not!
The tapas that we ordered were delicious, along with the wine and the desserts. Staff were nice and helpful. We will definitely come back!
One of my favourite places! The food is fantastic, of consistently high quality, and always delicious. Their wine list is also very good, I love discovering new wines, and every recommendation I have received has been fantastic. The ambience is great, relaxed and friendly, and perfect either for a date or for a great catch up with a friend. Can 100% recommend.
Excellent food and amazing service. Marta is an amazing hostess
Great value for money, lovely staff, good “hidden” tapas gem of London Xx
Good selection of tapas plates at reasonable prices. Service was excellent and the quality of the dishes was also top notch. Will be back.
It is a popular venue and full on a Friday evening. The selection of beverage was good esp sherries, cocktails d wine with a number of non-alcoholic options. The food is generally excellent and pretty good value for money. Tapas sizes are perfect for two sharing. The grilled pork was yummy! Waiters were friendly and appear to know the frequenting diners. If you order your wine by the glass, be sure to ask for it when you order the food as there. An be a delay. No wonder most tables would order a bottle to share.
A lovely experience for an early evening meal. Staff were very helpful and attentive. The food was very good and authentic. The wine was very good if not a little expensive. Overall I would thoroughly recommend it.
Nice food but service could have been more attentive.
Everything at Barrica was wonderful and spot on! The food was just perfect, the service was excellent and I’ll definitely be coming back.
I had my 35th birthday dinner at Barrica with friends. It was lovely!
Amazing food and service. Will definitely return to try the rest of the menu!
Great food and service, each dish was top notch
Delicious tapas and wonderful atmosphere. The staff were attentive despite the busy time of day. Would highly recommend for any special occasion and the vegetarian options were brilliant!
Fantastic flavours from all dishes
Good food and friendly owner. £100 for two. Annoying 12.5% service charge included. I like to choose my own tip value.
Been to this place before but this time it was rather disappointing. Booked a table but we've been seated at the bar.Except the croquetas de hammon, the food was good but not exceptional. I booked the place thinking it will be good to have a chill dinner, but ended up shouting at each other because the place was very noisy.
My favourite local place ... just the best food and service ... not cheap but well worth it ... acorn pork to die for and always good wine recommendations if you ask ... love it
Very nice flavours, especially the lamb shank dish and the croquettes. Quite a buzzy atmosphere, even on a Monday evening. However found the service to be a bit slow and some of the dishes were quite pricy for the amount on the plate. Not sure it’s better than other tapas restaurants I’ve tried.
Good food, and really helpful adapting menu dishes for dietary requirements. Great and friendly service
Great food and service. The atmosphere is always perfect and they serve Spanish tapas better than many served in Spain itself.
This was the second time we have visited Barrica. The first time everything was really good, the squid, the meatballs, the ox cheek. The second time food was average. The food came cold and smaller portions than the first time. Not sure if we will visit again because we were disappointed.
Our group of four ordered a selection of tapas and the food is fabulous, authentic, clearly cooked freshly — absolutely bang on. If you're dining with veggies, there is a good selection, but carnivores are also well catered for.
The atmosphere is great, very buzzy, and the staff really know their stuff. They're friendly without hovering.
There is an extensive wine list, and again, the staff were great at talking us through the unfamiliar wines on offer.
Our only criticism was the cost — the food is faultless, but we thought the bill was on the high side for what we had eaten and drunk.
Food was excellent, service was slow, but the ambience felt authentic.
Great service, great food. We had a person who needed to avoid dairy and they were very attentive and helpful finding out what was suitable on the menu or not. I would recommend.
Atmosphere was very nice, perfect for a casual Saturday as the place is quite vibrant. Food was good but service could have been much better (felt rushed plus servings did not follow any order)
Visited Barrica a number of times over the years. It has been outstanding every time. Friendly and genuine service, authentic food cooked and presented beautifully. The wine list is carefully curated; the sherry selection (critical for any Tapas restaurant worth it’s rosemary-salted-almonds) is, while not exhaustive, a great showcase of Spain’s finest fortified wine.
I met a friend after work for food and drinks. We had booked in advance. The serving staff were really friendly & helpful, but not quick. This meant our meal took longer than expected. It took ages for them to take our desert order and then ages to deliver. When they were about to deliver, they asked us to vacate our table and sit at the bar (!), so we had to lug all our bags and gear to a small cramped bar area to finish our meal. I was not impressed. It was a poor end to what had been a nice meal. The prices were a little steep for the amount of food too. Won't be returning for the above reasons.
A great place - brilliant tapas and lovely service
Great food and ambiance - friendly crowd
Food came strangely enough 2mins after we ordered and even before any wine or water was brought to the table. All 6 tapas were brought out at once, meaning half of them got cold quickly. Was used to better service in the past
Very pleasant visit for a business meal. Some tried and tested options on the menu as well as some that were a little more interesting. Was recommended the Cod which was indeed very good, our other favourite being the octopus. Overall good quality tapas and some nice wines.
Great little spot for some lovely tapas and fantastic wines
The Tapas dishes were quite small, much smaller than other Tapas restaurants my group has been too, so I wouldn't say it's the best value for money. Also the drinks were quite expensive. 1 Glass of red wine was over £8.
Barrica is always such a pleasure to visit! The staff are so amazing and the food is gorgeous!
Service a bit sketchy - female staff lovely, guy behind the bar in a tshirt very unfriendly and unhelpful. Food really delicious, with the exception of the mackerel dish. Chorizo and sweet potato and lamb dishes both outstanding. Yummy bread. Decent wine list. Would happily dine again.
Very good selection of tapas with great authentic taste. The wine list is very comprehensive and the staff is helpful to find a nice Spanish wine than meets your taste. Given the outstanding quality of the food, the prices are fine for London standards. Definitely recommend it for anyone loving tapas.
