Service was good, food was delicious. We had one vegan in our party and really the only thing they could prepare for her was a salad with fruit, nuts and just a small amount of avocado. The only dressing they could offer was oil and vinegar. They didn’t even have a basic balsamic. I guess that was the only disappointment for us, having a vegan in the family has opened my eyes to the limited options there are available for them. They are no different than someone who is vegetarian and/or has food allergies. I’m not saying that they have to have a whole menu for just them, but at least one decent option besides salad. This is also a statement in general for most restaurants. Non vegan food was delicious! Love the Shrimp Cargo appetizer! The Scallop Risotto had nice size scallops and was tasty! My daughter-n-law had the beef tips and she said it was delicious!

Overall okay. Not worth price in my opinion. It was a Tuesday night and not very busy. Even so, the service was less than average. Lots of other choices in Bel Air. We probably won’t be back.

Entrees were delicious and well prepared. The fixed three course dinner was missing a vegetable offering….the teriyaki steak with wild rice was “missing “ would have improved its presentation with the addition of a vegetable item. The crab bisque and strawberry short with ice cream were delicious!

It was very disheartening to be told by the host, that there was a 15-20 minute wait for our reservation for two when we were 5 minutes early. When seated at the bar to wait, we saw two couples that came in right after us, immediately be seated. This was not the first time we had problems with our reservation.

Our server, Bailey, was the best! She is so sweet. Food was excellent and loved her recommendation of the shrimp escargot! Only disappointment was that they didn’t acknowledge my parent’s 60th anniversary which was listed on my reservation.

Barretts is our favorite spot to go for a date night out without the kids! I LOVE their crabcakes and crab&corn soup! My husband loves almost everthing they make, especially their fish of the day! The only time we are disappointed is when they change their specials because the season has changed.

Barrett's is one of our regular dining destinations for several reasons. One- the food is very good. There's a pork chop on the menu that is fantastic. Not your usual menu item, but if you feel adventurous, you'll be very pleasantly surprised. Another pleasant surprise at Barrett's is the staff. In this age of terrible customer service, Barrett's is an oasis of civility. The staff offers just the right balance of attentiveness and privacy to the dinners. Also- the Old Fashions are spot on.

We usually like the food at Barrett’s. The crab and roasted corn soup is excellent. I don’t usually order chicken when I’m at dinner but I chose it because I didn’t see much on the restaurant week menu that appealed to my taste buds. Servers and atmosphere was very pleasant

Another STELLAR visit to Barrett’s on the Pike. Jason, our server, deftly encouraged us to add the hummus appetizer to our meal and was both personable and professional throughout. Being able to couple lunch with a business meeting was key and this restaurant always delivers. HIGHLY recommend!

There was only one server in the dining area, so we were seated in the bar. When we asked to move, we were told that there was only one server in that area and she would check to see if we could move. She never came back. The bar area was kind of crowded. When our food arrived, my order was wrong, so I had to wait 10-15 minutes for a new meal. My party was finished their food by the time I got mine. No compensation was offered for this inconvenience. The food was good, but the server was slow at getting our check and was just slow in general. We will try it again and hope for a better experience.

First, our wait staffer Amanda was totally awesome! She took tremendous care of us, had a vibrant personality, and knew her stuff! Food was super, best crab cakes in town, hands down. The hostess / host team is extremely friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed just chatting with them for a bit. We enjoyed our experience so much that we ate at Barrett's on the Pike two nights in a row!
