Barrel House offers a unique farm to table experience in downtown Sausalito which celebrates local seasonal ingredients and sustainability in a beautiful setting.

Barrel House focuses on letting the ingredients shine. To this end, Barrel House supports local farmers and organic practices due to their amazing quality as well as being harvested at their peak of ripeness.

Barrel House will feature barrel aged and classic cocktails. Its wine menu highlights California winemakers. Barrel House will have rotating local micro brews on tap as well as wines on tap. Additionally, we will be hand crafting our own sodas with seasonal fruits.
Barrel House features furniture and woodwork that was handcrafted using reclaimed black walnut and curly maple trees. Every seat in the Barrel House has sweeping views of the Bay and an outdoor deck that sits right over the water.

This is our “go to” place in Sausalito for my wife and I so we decided to take our visitors from Canada here. Everything was going well until my order, the bone in veal chop special, arrived more than 5 minutes later than everyone else’s main course. The issue is that when my order arrived, there was a barely an apology or any offers to adjust our bill. Sad.

Came here for my partners birthday thinking it would be a pleasant experience, but it was hardly that. First, our server took an extended period of time to even take our order and was not personable. My drink came back with a bug in it. He then brought me another drink but had no courtesy to take it off the bill or provide a proper apology. Our food was extremely mediocre. We ordered an $18 salad that looked wilted, old and premade with zero protein. Protein would've been an extra $10! The Ahi tacos were decent but lacked depth and flavor. The mushroom ravioli might have been the most decent dish we got. It was my wife's birthday and I told the hostess in the front about it and she told me "tell your server". At that point it seemed like their system was so disorganized I did not even bring it up to my server. I wasted a lot of money eating at a poor place like this. Will not be back and will not be recommending this to anyone.

Had a reservation for 2:30. Didn’t get sat until 3. Waited a whole hour for food to arrive since we ordered. Fries were a little soggy. Like it was sitting out for awhile. Other tables got their food before we did. For the price, do better.

menu both food and drink is fun, though by lunch time 3/5 specials were already gone. ambiance and view are amazing. pricy and service was very slow for filled restaurant but were very friendly

We sat outside - what a beautiful view! The weather was perfect, service was excellent and the food was delicious! Will absolutely come back and tell others about this place!

My mom and I ate here on a girls trip and it was just incredible! We got the steak sandwich and the shrimp risotto and both were to die for. Incredible flavor in both dishes! Our waiter was very nice and gave us recommendations. Inside was busy and noisier, but we sat out on the desk and it was beautiful. We will definitely be back!

The food was alright, but the noise level completely ruined the experience. A large group behind us stood around for quite a while, loudly chatting with others already seated as they waited to be accommodated together. Once they were finally seated, the volume only increased—they were yelling across the table and laughing uncontrollably. We tried to get the attention of our waitress or any staff member to address the situation, but no one was around. When the waitress finally returned with the check, I mentioned the issue to her. Her response? "I would have done something if you had told me earlier." Fair enough—but where were you the whole time?

The Host and Wait staff were extremely warm and welcoming and made our anniversary dinner one to remember! The food was fantastic, and the view of the Bay and seeing a full moon over the City was simply memorable!
