Barra Fíon Tapas & Barrel opened our doors in July 2015. We at Barra believe that every great beverage deserves to be paired with an equally beautiful culinary experience. Our Spanish and tapas inspired menu is ever evolving, and our focus to maintain a fresh, natural, from-scratch menu is what we believe separates us from the rest. We have a small but ever changing selection of local craft beers and our wines are sourced from all the great wine regions of the world along with many hidden gems.

Barra Fion Tapas & Barrel is an integral part of the Gators Restaurant family, that has been a Burlington tradition since 1994. Being in the food and service industry for over 30 years Gator Ted's Sports Tap & Grill and Savouring the Moment Catering has been consistently delivering friendly service and inspired flavourful dishes.

We had 4 selections. They were all great and very filling. Reasonable price too. They had a musician who played during our dinner and he was excellent and not too loud. A nice evening overall.

Wonderful little Tapas place in Burlington. The restaurant is in a strip mall and nothing fancy so I didn't expect a lot but I was pleasantly surprised. It's a clean, attractive restaurant with an open concept and the food was super delicious. Our service was exceptional and the staff were all extremely friendly all the way through the evening. They brought a complementary desert for my mother who was celebrating her 83rd birthday. Overall, a wonderful find where I'll be returning the next time I am in the area. Foodwise, we ordered a variety of Tapas and there were plenty to choose from. Our waitress was right on top of things. Noticing we had three in our party, she offered to bring three's of anything which typically came in pairs. We followed up the Tapas with Paella and it was excellent. The only regret was ordering the Paella since we were completely stuffed by the time it arrived (note you have to order the Paella ahead of time because it takes time to prepare). The tapas were quite filling and plenty to go around for the three of us. Next time we'll either stick to the Tapas or maybe a couple of Tapas with one of the Paellas? Hard to decide when the food is that good. I highly recommend the restaurant!

Potatoes brava were excellent. My husband loved the octopus. The shrimp in period and tarragon was less than desirable. Shrimp seemed boiled in a soupy sauce. Did not enjoy and tarragon with shrimp…….ummm……strange. Service was good

The food was fantastic. The octopus and calamari was extremely tender. The paella was full of seafood but could have been slightly more smoky and flavourful if cooked and served in a cast iron pan.

This is an outstanding wine and charcuterie bar. There was some incredible live music in the food is outstanding.

We walked in — everyone was warm and inviting. This was our second time here. Last time, we asked if we could sit at the bar with our kid and were told it wasn’t an issue. This time, same thing — staff said it was fine. So we were pretty shocked when the manager suddenly got in our face shouting that kids can’t sit at the bar. When we calmly asked why she was being so aggressive, she shrugged it off and said she didn’t care. Very weird energy. Anyway, we walked out — and the irony is, there’s a big sign at the door that says everyone is welcome. Won’t be back until they change up their management. Too bad — the staff is great, but the manager ruined the vibe.

This restaurant is an absolute gem! The food is incredibly delicious, with generous portions that leave you more than satisfied. The prices are very fair for the quality and quantity you receive. On top of that, the service is exceptionally warm and friendly—everyone makes you feel right at home. Highly recommended!
