We had high hopes for Barons! My wife and I decided to celebrate a milestone birthday for her at Barons, but we were quite disappointed. While the ambiance and overall aesthetic of Barons are truly beautiful, our server was not very attentive, and the food lacked both cohesiveness and consistency. We began our meal with the Oysters Rockefeller, which were exceptional—perfectly prepared and beautifully presented on beds of sea salt. This dish was delightful, and we highly recommend it. Unfortunately, that marked the high point of our experience. My wife ordered the chopped salad, while I ordered the consommé with lobster. The salad lacked flavor. The consommé may have been tasty on its own, but when mixed with the greens and lobster, it ended up being quite bitter. For our entrees, my wife chose the filet, and I opted for the Heritage Picnic, which included shoulder and various accompaniments. Our server asked how she wanted her filet prepared; she requested it medium. When the dish arrived, the filet was not cooked to her specifications. She chose not to send it back—this was our oversight. Although her entrée was good, it was not prepared as she had requested, and our server never once checked if it met her expectations. Instead of attending to us, he engaged in conversation with the table behind us, who were also complaining about their meals. As for my entrée, it consisted of a collection of disjointed pieces that seemed like they could have been two entirely different dishes. The loin, while cooked well, lacked flavor, and the shoulder, rich and bold in taste, did not create a cohesive pairing on the plate, and the potato salad and melon, which accompanied the dish, did not enhance the overall experience. For dessert, we began by asking for coffee, only to be informed that their machine was out of order. We ordered the dessert donuts and waited 15 minutes for them to be brought to the table. Overall, we had high hopes but were disappointed.

The creative tasting menu was delicious and memorable. Chef Justin has put Barons on first on the epicurean map. In our opinion - probably the best restaurant in the region

The table steak was incredible. The sides and appetizers were lacking. The cocktail menu is top-notch, and the service was incredible.

Server Joshua was awesome. Food was exquisite, price matched. We did the tasting. Best items were the chopped salad and the filet mignon. Cocktails were fantastic.

Excellent food. We had the seafood platter and tomahawk. Waiter was excellent. Overall great experience and food. Only thing for us that was missing was dessert.
