   We had another wonderful meal at Barolo tonight. Appetizers of prosciutto, cheeses and mozzarella and tomatoes, then carbonara and spaghetti con le vongole perfectly al dente. Then we finished with dessert of tiramisu, cannoli and gelato! Buonissimo 🤩

   Had a fantastic dinner with a friend here. Our server, Nick, was exceptional—friendly, knowledgeable, and refreshingly candid about the menu. His admitted skepticism about a seasonal dish, followed by his genuine surprise at enjoying it, made for great conversation and built instant rapport. My friend loved the gnocchi with sausage, while I opted for a beautifully prepared fish in a butternut squash broth—exquisite, especially with the Pinot Noir Nick recommended. I ended on a high note with cannoli and Amaro. Great food, welcoming service, and a good vibe—my second visit, and certainly not my last.

   Food was delicious and service was great. I did not appreciate the 3.5% surcharge on the bill to “keep the menu prices stable”. It is dishonest and I wish they would just set the menu prices properly. The surcharge is disclosed on the menu but I shouldn’t have to read the fine print and do math to know the price of my meal.
