It was our anniversary

I love Baro!! Service was impeccable, food was moist-watering. Didn’t feel rushed at all, very relaxed at just the right pace. Honestly I think this is one of the best restaurants in Toronto.

Nice for brunch

I came with 2 of my girlfriends on a Friday night based on a recommendation. We are all from London and wanted a cool place to hang out, eat good food and sip on classy cocktails. This place did not disappoint. The guacamole and tortilla chips to start was a great intro and the beef dish my friend ordered as a main was super tasty. Service was impeccable. Would definitely recommend and come here again.

The service stood out above and beyond. That’s saying a lot given how dope the food and ambience is. Easily one of the best food experiences in Toronto.

Yucca fries were amazing, but octopus and empanadas could have been better.

Food was good, but the “most famous dish” they had, which was the duck fried rice has little to no meat. It’s very flavorful, but a ton of rice. Low value dish.

Fantastic service. Food was good too. Cocktails are fantastic.

Our server Alexander had the exact right amount of presence in making sure we had everything we needed and his suggestions to provide us more vegetarian options were perfect!!

Jocelyn was amazing! Did a great job of accommodating our large group and making sure we were all taken care of. Food was great and service was exceptional.

Food was very yummy. Definitely sharing style plates with a good enough portion size. I only felt like some items were rather overpriced but overall great would go again!

Great service, great food

I went with a girlfriend for an early dinner and it was amazing! The aesthetic, the staff and the food were incredible. Highly recommend the quac and chips, and the red sangria. I would definitely go there again

The place is really nice. Service was good. They have different options milk like almond milk. However, the order that I got this time wasn’t as good as the last time. I ordered Huevos rancheros. The eggs, beans and rice didn’t taste good. The eggs and beans were dried, the rice tasted a little old.

Great service, awesome food. Good vibe. This was my 2nd time at Baro and both times i’ve had such a great experience.

Baro always has great food and great service. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. This is definitely my go-to place on King West!

Not a terrible little restaurant. Food was OK, not worth the value or very tasty either. However it was fine and edible, just nothing I would spend money on again.
The service was not the best, however not the worst. It’s sort of ties in with the restaurant— Not a bad place but not a place I would revisit.
They were nice enough to hold our reservation, as we were quite late. Which many other places would not do typically however they did have ample seating available.
Something last minute if there’s nothing else around, it’s not a terrible way to end your night. It’s not a place I would rebook

Baro is a great place to eat. The food and service were really good in the restaurant. I would recommend going for dinner. We did check out the club and latin club. We found the security to be rude which was not necessary. We also found it disappointing that after you spend a lot on dinner that there is a $10 charge for the latin party. It was a younger crowd so we didn't stay long but music was pretty good.

I am giving you 4 stars because you tried so hard. Let me explain. We have been to Baro before and enjoyed it. We had reservations for the evening of December 23rd. The restaurant was going to be closed on December 24 / 25. It seemed like everything we wished to order was sold out since the restaurant was clearly trying to have minimal waste with the upcoming two day shut down. The biggest problem was that we were waiting on one of our party's dinner to arrive. When we asked, it was then that we found out they had run out of that dish also! The staff did make it up by comping the two appetizers we ordered to replace the main course.

The orders that could be filled when prepared very well. The steak was done to perfection. Extremely tender and flavourful. The duck rice is just excellent. Recommend you let it sit in the stone bowl for a few minutes so that the rice next to the stone gets nice and crunchy.

Baro has also done a good job bringing the music volume down a little so we can actually have a conversation at the table without yelling. This is something I commented on in the past.

So Baro - I will give you another chance, likely not at a point where your fresh supplies are so limited.

Excellent food and drinks. The Ceviche and lavender tequila were outstanding. Definitely will come back!

The menu is a little unexpected when considering its a latin inspired venue. However, the food was
excellent. It was a pleasant surprise.

Place is Spectacular and Food is INCREDIBLE, I Cant wait to go back

Came here for dinner and had a fantastic experience. The apps was extraordinary, but our favourite was the fried rice duck confit. Drinks are unique and tasty!

First impressions were awful, as the hosts were disorganized and dismissive. We checked in 5 minutes early for our reservation and was seated 10 minutes late, only to enter the dining room and see several available tables.

Our server was excellent, as was another server who delivered our food.

The fish tacos and the yuca frita were delicious and perfectly cooked. The Lomo Saltado was great as well. The Duck Chaufa was flavourful and the rice was fantastic but the duck confit itself was tough and dry. Great wine selection. Price is average for King West.

Pretty empty and dead on Saturday night .

I love Baro! The atmosphere and service are amazing. Our server, Avery, was great and was very attentive to our needs:) I was slightly disappointed in some of the dishes we ordered- specifically the cavatappi (the flavors just didn’t go well- there was to much going on) and the chicken and avocado rice. I’ve had better dishes in the past. I’ll definitely be back though!
