Barney's is a restaurant serving elevated American cuisine in a "country style" Inn. Everything about the experience at Barney's is designed to reflect refined dining, from the beautiful plating to the attentive and helpful staff.
Barney's menu is a fusion of new American cuisine and classic French cuisine. All of the produce used in the kitchen is procured from local vendors, The filet mignon has been voted the best on Long Island by local publications. The signature"Famous" Long Island Duck has also become a local favorite. The large selection of seafood along with our fresh seasonal salads and weekly specials will not disappoint.

Our dining areas consist of the Hearth Room (dining room w/fireplace), Bar and Parlour which can also be reserved for private parties. We also offer outdoor dining and a have special areas for private dining. Anything from small intimate weddings to baby showers and any other special occasions. Barn holds up to 45 and the outdoor patio up to 60.

The restaurant is beautiful from the moment you walk in the door! The service was excellent. Our server was Ari....a wonderful woman full of enthusiasm, charm and expertise. The food was superb....duck, salmon and filet mignon. It was a pleasure for our mother's 95th birthday!!

Lovely atmosphere…waiter very nice. Had to ask for fresh pepper and refills on water. Charge of $6 to split a Caesar salad in the kitchen outrageous !! Should have been told.

We truly enjoy coming to Barney’s. However at our last visit we were in the fire place room and there was an extremely noisy party and it really put a damper on our experience. We understand people are out for a good time with their friends. But they need to be more considerate of other guests.

The food was very good, but we went on a Saturday night at primetime and the noise level detracted from the experience. I would not go again at such a prime hour.

Barney’s is a special place . The owners and staff always make you feel right at home . The food and service are consistently excellent. The wait staff are attentive and warm. It’s always a treat to have dine at this north shore gem.

Prix fixe on a holiday is rarely a win. It was pricey. Very pricey. And the prosecco was horrible. Andre level of cheap …. Servers were nice although confused when we tried to order cava. I think they thought we meant coffee!!! 😂

I've passed this place many times, this was first time trying it. I will definitely be back. Place was beautiful, food was awesome.
