Barnes and Noble Kitchen - Folsom

This was a surprise - never heard of this bookstore restaurant! The food was fresh and tasty and the beer was on tap. Loved the atmosphere and the lighting!

Valentine’s Day

I selected this as our book group's Holiday Season party venue and everyone enjoyed it. The food was excellent, we could talk without telling and we had a quiet corner to ourselves. Most of us had eaten here before but mostly lunch. Great place and shall return.

I have been patronizing the Kitchen Cafe for some time now. I have NEVER had a bad or questionable experience with the food, service or ambience. Highly recommend it!

Excellent dinner. Salmon was delicious. Our server, Jake was an excellent waiter, very informative, pleasant and professional.

Hidden Gem!! Food was outstanding. Loved the Salmon and the turkey burgers. Server was very friendly and professional. We were really Surprised it was not busy, because it was such a great place to dine. Highly recommend this restaurant! I don’t think people realize that Barnes and Noble has a restaurant.

Quiet, good service, rather limited menu. But what was on the menu was excellent. We ordered a glass of wine each for $9 and received a rather light pour.

We went there for a friends birthday and it was perfect. They gave us a big table for 7 of us. The food and server was fantastic. I would recommend going there to hang out or to have drinks and lunch or dinner.

Wow...we were not sure what to expect...we chose this for location reasons, but were amazed how nice the restaurant was. The food was amazing...we had the salmon and the burger. Presentation we excellent. The service was excellent. I understand this is a new initiative for Barnes and Noble. I thought the idea was great, and the execution is even better. Classy environment, excellent food and great service. Loved it...well done.

Glad we stopped into the B&N kitchen. They have a limited menu but everything we’ve tried has been excellent. Portions are generous and food quality is great. Waitstaff was friendly and attentive to our needs. While his is not fine finding it’s a great place to have lunch or a casual supper. We’ll be back!

The food was good but unfortunately, everything I wanted to order initially was not available. The menu is already limited, so to be out of items was very disappointing. My alternate choice appetizer took a very long time and was served at the same time as the food and I was told it had to be prepared as a new batch. The service was fantastic but the kitchen needs work. I wanted to like this place but for what they are charging, it leaves much to be desired.
