   The food was really good, but all of our meat was overcooked. Drinks were fun and tasty. Although it had potential to be a hype spot, it was very neutral. Which is nice, but we went for a birthday and was hoping to get a little more entertainment out of it. Overall, I would definitely go again.

   This was our first time at the restaurant. We met the chef at an event for Girl Scouts and loved his dessert so we thought we would try the restaurant. The food was wonderful and so were the drinks. It was a fun vibe in the restaurant. We will definitely be back.

    Located in the middle of PPAC and Trinity Rep, where we frequent the most. Three big tvs and very friendly staff, it’s a great spot to start or end the night :)

    We really enjoyed Barnaby’s! The wait staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. We had tickets for PPAC and the staff was mindful of our time to get to the theatre, which is close by. We could park, walk to dinner, then walk to PPAC. We look forward to going back to Barnaby’s !

    First and foremost, the music was way to loud. We could not hear ourselves think let alone have a conversation. Others actually walked out because of it. The food was just average. We were there at brunch time, and while the items on the menu sounded very good, the execution was lacking. The Jambalaya shrimp and grits, was actually a bowl of polenta (with zero seasoning) and a thick flavorless paste on top. This was not actual southern style grits and what they called Jambalaya would be laughed out of New Orleans.

    We had a great brunch here! The brunch menu was limited, but the options were great for us. I got the Pork Belly Benny. It was cooked to perfection and was the perfect portion. Additional items the table got were French toast and biscuits & gravy, both of which were great. We would highly recommend eating here again for brunch.

    It was our first time there and when we walked in there was only two tables occupied. Which made me think that going there was a mistake. How wrong I was! The server/bartender CJ was very attentive and made a great drink. We had the steak special which was done perfectly. A great experience. Highly recommend

    Warning! Open table menu was totally wrong - this place has totally changed since the pandemic. More dive bar than the beer hall it used to be and only veggie options are two meh salads. Open table menu has many cool vegetarian options—- none of them are actually on the restaurant menu. Sadly kids were desperate to eat so we stayed and I had lettuce and Parmesan.     Made reservations based on menu on line but when we got there we were told they had a new chef and they changed the menu. The menu was really small, only one vegetarian option. I had a mango kale salad which was literally just kale and 6 small slivers of mango with some seeds sprinkled on top. The waitress brought the wrong food 2x’s. Then our food took a really long time. My son liked his burger and said the fries were good. The atmosphere was cool but I wouldn’t eat there again.

    My hubby and I used to frequent Barnaby’s prior to pandemic. It had a New Orleans vibe! We could get a Sazarac and pork chops or chicken. Would typically go to dinner prior to PPAC shows. Fast Forward to after the pandemic-Vibe has shifted considerably. Very very limited menu. Basically burgers or salad. I ordered chicken last night and it a very small portion, the sides were not good either. Hubby enjoyed his burger as my friends did. Funny note about burgers- never asked anyone how they want them cooked. One friends burger came out rare. It took so long for food to come out she didn’t ask for another. I am so sad to say Barnaby’s will not be on our list of restaurants to go to before shows.

    We've been twice, the food and service are excellent. But the music is so loud we had to scream so the server could hear us. I think the young crowd enjoys it, just not comfortable for us.

    Had dinner here before a show at PPAC, the staff was friendly and we enjoy the atmosphere here. The menu is a shell of what is was before, leaving fewer options. We got a couple orders of tenders and the sauce was good, but they didn't give us anything to dip in. The fried plantains were tasty. Service was good, but a bit slow.

    We arrived at 5:35 and by 6:40 we still didn’t have our meals. We had looked at the menu before we came and then nothing we wanted was actually on the menu. We were told that it was changed for theater nights. We were going to the theater but never got our food.
