This restaurant should have never accepted our 9pm reservation on Friday night, 11/02/2018. When we arrived for our reservation the manager comes running in behind us telling us to “get out” and that the gas was off and the kitchen was closed. To give more background, this was NOT an issue where the entire restaurant was being vacated and we just walked in. In fact, there were other people in the restaurant sitting at a few tables as well as the bar, and it looked like they were enjoying some cocktails. Perhaps they had wrapped up their dinner before the gas incident, but regardless, the way the manager handled this towards us was so rude. He could’ve simply just said, “hey guys, sorry but we have a gas problem going on, unfortunately the kitchen is closed.” Due to the way he handled the situation and his attitude towards us we won’t be back.

The restaurant is tight quarters. The service and food were good. The trifongo with shrimps was delicious ! The Malbec wine was smooth and tasteful, the meal was affordable.

This Is NOT a Spanish restaurant at all. Terrible PAELLA. The waiter said it was the best. Please Do not order unless you would like yellow “dry” rice and steam seafood on the top. Very tasteless. Drinks were ok, happy hour is fine. Food overall is terrible.

This place was a great respite from the heat ( in the back room). The food was delicious. Their everyday specials were a nice touch and very good. This was a surprising find that I would certainly return to.

they have a pretty good brunch menu and the staff is really friendly. I look forward to going back. Their yuca fries are great, as well as their bistec brunch meal

My girlfriends and I had the best time at Barlovento this weekend! The food was great- the menu accommodated everyone at the table from Vegans to the pickiest eaters! Everyone raved about their meals- the empanadas were delish and the seafood paella was amazing! Ohh and the coconut mojito was too notch! The service was awesome, very attentive and friendly. It was a great start to our night out in the city celebrating our Bachelorette!
