Barley is an all-day brunch & lunch spot located on Notre-Dame street. We've been open 7 days a week for dine-in, takeout, delivery and catering for nearly eight years.

Our menu puts forth middle-eastern cuisine that changes in favour of fresh ingredients. Every dish is simple yet striking; creative but homey.

Our coffee program leans decadent, while our cocktail list highlights the classics.

Expect warm, attentive service in a lively, brightly-lit dining room.

Reservations are always recommended, but we also hold room for walk-ins.

Sadly many items on the menu were not available such as the chicken waffles (no chicken) and the salmon. However the item i picked on the menu (french toast) was very good.

11h15 for sunday brunch, never again. 45min to get a cocktail. 1h30 to get food.

We really enjoyed our experience but mostly because we were in the meeting room so it was less noisy but still are to hear. Nice service and delicious food.

Everything was very good but I found the music and the noise level too loud to have a conversation with those at the table. Otherwise everyone enjoyed their food and the service was very good.

They asked us to wait even tho we book it for 11.45 and it was 11.55. Then they gave our table to someone else because they forgot we were waiting. We could seat only at 12.15 and ordered at 12.35/40. Then, we were served one hour after we ordered. The manager offered us the drinks because of the delay which was very appreciated by us! However, the waitresses didn’t seem to pay much attention to our table, and we were served after several tables that came after us. Overall not a great experience because we left around 3.45 and we had to work so we were late for that. But the space is super nice, the coffee is nice even tho I didn’t see cereals decorations on our drinks (I found it weird considering their pictures on Instagram ) and we liked the gesture from the manager. They seem overwhelmed (which is understanding with the current situation here in Quebec and the lack of workers).

This is our second time going to Barley for brunch, and both times we’ve been somewhat disappointed. The service is a bit slow, either in seating us or our actual orders. The place gets noisy and tables are very close to one another. Some items are definitely worth ordering like the pancakes and labneh platter, but the bowls didn’t impress us. Overall, I’d be curious to try it out on a quieter day to experience more their menu.

LOVED THE FOOD! service was reaaaally good except very long. mais la serveuse était très gentille, je crois que nous sommes arrivé à un moment très occupé, donc je comprends que c'était plus long ! overall je vais recommander à mon entourage!

Chipped glass, Lebanese breakfast was short on sausage and chickpea tomato part tasted fizzy (sign it was getting old). Will not be coming back.
