    7:00 on a Saturday night the place was empty. Food came out quickly but was barely warm and tasted like it was old and warmed up in microwave. Grilled chicken sandwich was probably the best of everything we ordered. Disappointing since the restaurant had been good in the past at least for brunch.

    Staff was friendly, but one of the main courses was brought to the table just a few minutes after the appetizer and the second main was brought long after. When the time came to pay the check and add tip, the minimum suggested tip of 22% seemed quite outrageous.

    Inattentive servers, didn't have a table for our reservation, didn't have champagne for what was marketed as a champagne brunch, turned off all TVs during middle of prime football time. Food was ok.

    Food was just okay. Good short ribs. Steak was fatty and mashed potatoes were bland. Service was pretty awful. Our server was nice but rarely came to our table, never came back after our food came. We had to get up to find people when we realized we were missing a food item, when we needed more water and when we wanted our check and boxes to take food home. There was one waiter, one bartender and someone who looked like a manager working on a Saturday night. The manager at one point sat down with the table behind us for 20+ minutes even though his other staff couldn’t keep up with demand due to two large parties, multiple smaller tables, in addition to ours. They attempted to have us run our card in the machine before checking over our bill. Had to wait an extra 10 minutes for a paper bill. So many food options in Arlington, I wouldn’t come back.

    Work dinner. Picked for location. Food is meh. Service was very poor given it wasn’t that busy. Too many other great choices in the area. Highly unlikely that I would return.

    Used to be decent bar food but it has become truly abominable--and empty. Server botched the entire order and everything was bland, oversalted, or both. An embarrassment

    I got the egg white omelet and it was delicious. The portion was huge. Our server was attentive and nice. Nothing to complain about.

    Service was very poor and nothing was done when we politely communicated with staff. It probably would have taken more aggressive complaining to correct wrong items, slow service, lack of attention, but that would have further ruined our experience. We just won’t return.

    Did a take out - got two portions of the steak - that is 100% not worth the 28 bucks. Also got Cajun shrimp and chicken 4 shrimp and 4 1/2 inch cubes of chicken = 24bucks. don’t do the take out but I hope they don’t serve these portions now inside:(

    Our experience was lovely. Our waitress was amazing, the food was incredible! The drinks were also perfect. It was a bit pricey for the amount of food, but it was overall a great experience.

    We meet our son who lives in the area for lunch at Barley Mac when we can. Food is delicious and we have been fortunate to have the same waiter most visits. He is spectacular. Attentive, mannerly and always smiling. (Wish I had his name) The food arrived hot and played beautifully. Highly recommend it. Have gluten free options available, too.

    The venue is very nice and welcoming. However the service was extremely slow and my crab cake tasted like it was fried in old grease. The deviled eggs, Brussels and sweet potato fries were very good. The macaroni and cheese was ok.

    Nice bar set-up to the left, dining room to the right. Very good service and food with an excellent atmosphere. They also have a large outside seating area, which is usually crowded during summer months.

    We were extremely disastisfied with the service last night. We made a reservation for 6 pm, and sat down around then. Our server, however did not come to our table to take our order for food until 7 pm. She was no where to be found and had a really bad attitude about serving us (very sarcastic and snappy). She also spilled another table’s drinks all over the table. I’ve been before and it wasn’t like this at all, but I probably won’t be back. The food and drinks were okay, but the service was absolutely horrendous.

    Outstanding service from Patrice and delicious food! I want to go every Sunday! Plenty of free parking and comfortable seating. The Nutella pancakes are a must.

    The food is delicious and there is something to appeal to everyone on the menu. Salads are crisp, dressing good, and protein (if desired) cooked as requested. Juicy and tasty burgers, piping hot fries. Regular and sweet potato. I had my first pizza earlier in the week. Just the right amount of meat and a nice, perfectly baked crust. Our waiter was amazing. Wish I had gotten his name. Attentive but not intrusive. Manager checked on us once. Our ‘go to’ place when we meet our son for lunch.

    Great service and delicious food. Ate outside and there was loud club music playing the entire time, which didn’t match the ambience / vibe for the restaurant or, more generally, the time of day (it was a Tuesday at lunchtime).

    It may have been a busy night but the service was horrible and SO slow. We waiting over 30 minutes for a drink. Had to track anyone down to take our order. Our meals were cold, one person never even got her food. After waiting 20 minutes to find someone to ask she walked back to the kitchen area and asked to cancel all together. I would not recommend this place.

    Went for lunch. Good service & food. Only mishap was everything was served at once so Max n cheese was cold.. Understood it was part of Dc restaurant week but nothing seemed to promote it.. No particular menu and server didn’t mention it.

    Food was bland. Service was very slow. Probably waited 20 minutes minutes to place our drink order. Nice server, but she was overwhelmed. Left us sitting. Had to ask for a check by standing up. We had finished eating for half hour and she was busy taking other orders. She just needed help.

    Excellent happy hour drinks. Can't be beaten. I usually love the grilled Octopus dish - and this time the actual octopus didn't disappoint - but potatoes were undercooked and cold - so rest of dish not so great.
