Contemporary American
We told people we offer super premium coffee and scratch-baked sweets and savories in north Gaithersburg, and they assumed we were crazy. We told them we cook in a wood hearth, and they said we were batty. We paired food with specialty cocktails and house infusions, and they thought we were nuts. We revealed the on-site aeroponic, organic garden where we grow vegetables, herbs and edible flowers, and they whispered we were mad as a hatter. And as the lights sparkled above a 100+ seat outdoor patio, they declared us Barking Mad.

Service was great. The food was OK. A little pricy for a grilled cheese sandwich. The bread overwhelmed the cheese.

When i got seated i had to waot 15 minutes to be just told sorry ill get to you in a minute took another 10 minutes just to get a water. I had to ask the manager for that to only get told he will tell my waitress.tried to ask the waitress for lemon and a straw but she was gone in a flash. My daughter has a gluten in tolerance they dont really have options for that as well which added to the frustration. Then i was trying to ask the waitress questions about the menu she seemed like she was overwhelmed and didnt have time to answer questions. So i orderd eggs and turkey bacon with a side of fruit. When another waiter dropped the food off he said you guys enjoy your meal me and my daughter were confused because she didnt get her yogurt she orderd so he went back to figure that out and i waited to eat till she fot her food which then made my food cold. Also they served me pork bacon as well i told the waitress dont worry about it at that point i was frustrated and wanted to get out of there. Food was midocre service was horrible!!!!not to metion they have some guy who just walks the runway all day and just stared at us and never offerd water. I dont know what his job is the whole exsperience boggled my mind..lol

The food is quite good, as is the service. But on Saturday evening, the live music was say too loud, which had a negative effect on the whole experience.

Soup of the Day was crazy good, a Mexican chicken soup served with three slices of toasted whole grain bread for dipping. The BLT was really good too, especially the bread it was served on. Highly recommend this place.

Delicious, as always. And trendy! Good idea to make a reservation to reduce your wait time. Definitely recommend all of the variations of eggs Benedict for brunch.

This was my 2nd visit to the restaurant as my first experience was remarkable. So i arrived at 11:02am with my 11am reservations. I was seated immediately and had to ask if we had a server as we sat there and waited 15 minutes to be greeted. We immediately ordered our food in fear of waiting another 15-20 minutes as well as my first mimosa which did not arrive until 11:45am. Food came out not as i requested so it was sent back and the 2nd time around was perfect. After my 1st mimosa our server was pretty good about keeping them coming. Food was great and so was our conversation. I was asked if i needed more mimosas at 12:30pm which i declined. So our checks came out, and i'm not certain if i asked for it or not-but we paid our bill. This is besides the point! Around 1:30pm Kaylee (one of the managers I was told) came to our table and asked if we mind moving to another table to accommodate other paying guests. I looked up at her and looked around and asked her you really asking me to move from where i'm sitting with all these open tables you have here? I was so furious and she said something else and then all of a sudden she worked something so i no longer had to get of my seat. I remained calm but wanted to let you know that this type of way to treat a guest is unprofessional and distasteful. When does the clock start if there is a time limit on the table? The bottomless mimosas are 1.5 hours. Please calculate my time and tell me if i overstayed mt time at the table. Or was it that i paid early? Maybe next time i'll leave the check open so i'm not rushed out of my seat and interrupt an extremely important conversation. I left disappointed and feel that Kaylee was totally inappropriate.

Will definitely be back. Beignets were meh. Very little flavor at all but puffy, coated with powdered sugar and served with brulee to dip. The pork belly Benedict was a hit, as well as the coffees! Super crowded and our table for 2 was uncomfortably small and due to server and patron traffic made the meal a little less than relaxing...but overall, fun menu, good food, great coffees and teas and we will be back!

Food was delicious and the layout of the restaurant was nice because you could sit in the cafe section, restaurant section or bar section depending on what you were feeling. Food wise the butternut squash pizza and the affogato were our favorites.

The food is always great there. It was the first time for brunch and it was great. I had the belly shine pizza. Pizza for breakfast! Yes, I asked for their white ricotta sauce instead of tomate sauce. Perfect. All my friends were jealous and tried to steal my pizza. My friends had the avocado toast, French toast and chicken and cheddar waffles. All delicious. High recommend this place.

Had previously enjoyed great coffee at this quirky cafe but decided to try their Sunday Brunch. We were very happy with our food! The avocado toast is outstanding and the Classic Eggs Benedict is a solid choice. Surrounding diners had waffles and beignets that looked amazing. It was very crowded; we had reservations and were seated immediately. Would recommend them to Sunday diners. Even with the crowd our server was on point and helpful.

Service to get seating took a bit even with a reservation- very crowded so it was understandable but I do think the hostess may have forgotten about us once she asked us to wait to the side for a moment. Once seated, the service was great. I had bottomless mimosas and they were always filled promptly upon my request by my server, Alex. I love coming here, food and service and value is great.

The food and service was excellent. The menu states that you can only sit for an hour and half. We had the hostess tell us to leave after an hour and half when no one was waiting in line to get seated. She asked us to move to the market area. This rule is ridiculous as we are paying customers. Needless to say that I will never go back there.

Love this place. We have returned three times in as many months. We have done a date night, a group dinner and recently went there with extended family for birthday brunch. Very popular with the neighborhood crowd and this place is packing for brunch as well as dinner. There is an outdoor seating area that is eye-catching in day or night. They occasionally have live music. Menu options are different for different meals.
Food is consistently great. Flavorful with a twist on traditional fare. Caters to a wide variety of taste and dietary requirements. Happy to see great dining options in Germantown.

Menu is inventive and food is very good. My only disappointment was the ribs, which are cooked sous vide so I expected them to be very tender, but they were actually quite tough and needed a higher temperature a longer cook time. The flavor was great though, as were all the other dishes, and the service was very pleasant and friendly. I went back the next night for pizza, which was excellent. I recommend the salmon and the affogato.

We enjoyed our Heuvos Rancheros Pizza, but there was just a little too much Jalapeno pepper on it. Even after picking the peppers off the flavor linger, a bit to strong for me. However my husband didn't find it too much. Next time we will ask them to leave the Jalapenos off and ask for hot sauce on the side. We also had a good salad and some nice Beignets. The service was attentive and timely, even though the kitchen was closing.
