The ambiance is always relaxing and cozy, clean and pleasant. The best French press presentation you will ever see :) Menu changes often, some interesting desserts

We have been going to Barking Frog for many years. Although their food is usually very good, I've found them to be inconsistent as of late...I find that I can have 2 or 3 terrific meals, then go back and have a disappointing one - this was one such visit, although only with the food. We were seated right away by a very nice Hostess, Our server, as well, was very nice, personable, and kept up a good pace. Barking Frog was recently remodeled and everything looked beautiful and cozy inside.
The food: I ordered their burger "medium rare" and it was delivered just about well-done. I knew I would only finish half of it, so chose not to send it back. I did mention to the server that it was pretty well done and she asked if it was "too well done"...well, yes, when I ordered it medium rare, that would be the case. She was polite and offered a couple of times to have it re-done, but I declined. In the end, she took it off the bill after discussing it with the Manager. My husband's seafood salad was fine, and our other companion felt that his short rib sandwich was "adequate", at best. We'd also ordered garlic fries - which tasted like yesterday's garlic fries - soggy, limp - just inedible. I know that you take that risk when you're dining at the very beginning of service - I just don't expect this from this restaurant.
Finally, as we departed, the Manager was very nice and asked, as we exited, "How was your lunch today?" My companion said, "Oh, it was adequate", to which the Manager smiled and replied, "Oh great, thanks for coming in." Are you really listening, Barking Frog?

Very unwelcoming host, undercooked food, no special menu for the holiday. Seriously the nicest person was the lady cleaning the restroom. Never again.

Barking Frog’s atmosphere is very nice, not to large so feels comfortable. Food is excellent, recommend the lamb burger with truffle fries. Great outdoor seating weather permitting.

We went to the Barking Frog for a prix fie Valentine dinner with wine pairing. The server was very gracious and even made a substitution for us on this dinner which we really appreciated. This was the official reopening of the restaurant after a substantial remodel of the kitchen and this could have been part of our problem. The food was just warm, not hot. Not sure what the dynamic is of this but that was our experience. The food itself was excellent but warm was a disappointment. Since this was a special dinner for us, we did not choose to send the food back to be rewarmed. Other than that, it was a wonderful evening.

Brought mom and dad for dads birthday. Usually my fiance' and i sit in the bar and Nick is our waiter. He's awesome. This time we got a table and our waiter was dissapointing. He kept forgetting mom and dads brussels sprouts which we ordered as a salad course. We got our beets and ate while they had nothing. Food finally arrived and still no sprouts. Finally arrived after the meal and dad didnt even try them. Too bad. He loves brussels sprouts!!

Well, it was overally expensive for the amount of food you received. We went for the New Year weekend but would not go back. It was like going out for 3 regular meals but not nearly the same amount of food - we don't spend that much for food and usually take home letovers. Here, we paid for the "bread service" knowing the portions would be very small. The food was good, I'll say that, but with 8-10 ingredients per dish, I guess they think it warrants the super high price - and we DID NOT have alcohol! I can't imagine what the bill would have cost with wine added in.
Again, overall good ambiance, very small place though, and the food to price ratio was obscene. I don't recommend it and will not be back.

I have always enjoyed our meals and time spent at the Barking Frog. The food is always excellent, service is great, and all is well worth the money. We are very excited to see what the new renovations will uncover. Worth checking out if you have never gone before.

Absolutely delicious! The food at the Barking Frog was outstanding. They offer a Tasting Menu that you can completely customize so we got to try a bit of everything and everything we tried (4 different items for each of us) we loved! The service was exceptional. Can't wait to visit Woodinville again to return to The Barking Frog for dinner!

We had a wonderful experience! The food was delicious. There was no rush from servers, despite us being there for well over 2 hours. The chef even introduced himself and made the evening something we will remember fondly for quite some time. We highly recommend it.

Love the Barking Frog. Went there for a company lunch. Service started a little slow ...we were there for about 15 minutes before anyone came to take our drink order. They said they’d be right with us when we got there, but it took a bit. Once they finally did get to us things were much better. Food was excellent!

We celebrated our friends 70th birthday. She is gluten free, so I brought a gluten free dessert with me and the kitchen did a beautiful job with the presentation!
When the three of us get together our go to place is Barking Frog.

Barking Frog was outstanding again! I dine here for lunch a couple of times each year and rarely disappointed.

Our server, Michelle was excellent. That needed balance of serving two friends catching up with good service and not interrupting our conversation. That seems an impossible task, but Michelle was a pro.

Food was delicious. You only get two scallops, so recommend a starter salad if ordering. Sandwiches are big. Hanger Steak was the best I've had.

Zero wait time for our table. Will be back soon!

We had a wonderful anniversary dinner at Barking Frog. We each ordered the tasting menu which allows four course to be picked - one from each menu category. We each ordered different choices and shared the dishes. The portions, although supposedly half-sized, were still significant. Everything was delicious and perfectly prepared. The service from our waiter, Bill, was just perfect. We can't recommend Barking Frog enough!

The reservation was for a birthday and server Rochelle made a few special touches (without asking) to set the experience right for a grand memory. The ‘by the fire’ dining was quite fun, and for us, more enjoyable than at the usual table setting. But hey, we noticed plenty of space between tables at BF - making table dining far more attractive (to us) for a private dining experience... yes, we will be back near the holidays I’m sure. 😎🍷 Thanks!

The prices at this restaurant would make you think it would be quiet, but that's not the case. The service is great, they made sure and switched out silverware with every course and swept the crumbs off. Food was presented in a beautiful manner and it was very appetizing, but a little overpriced. $7 for bread!

Our evening was fantastic. Made a reservation for dinner after an afternoon of wine tasting. Our waiter, Jarred, was very knowledgable and fun, the atmosphere was great and the food fantastic. We had a couple of small plates and sides and split the black cod catch of the day which was delicious. The maple bacon creme brulee and oatmeal stout rice pudding desserts were decadent and capped off a wonderful meal.
