My daughter has been here before, this is my first visit. Very impressed by the atmosphere, the service and the food was just so scrumptious! Loved the beignets, the crab cakes Benedict, and the best pigs in blanket We have ever tasted! We will be back.

Barking Frog is great for brunches--well located if you are going to tour Woodinville wineries the same day. Excellent benedicts and burgers. Always worth it

We reserved a table for my birthday brunch at 6:30 AM to start the day with a special dining experience. We arrived at our reservation time to an empty reception and waited to be seated. Finally after some time a server came out and told us to sit anywhere we wanted. We seated ourselves without any recognition that it was my birthday as stated on open table. We were also over charged for an item that wasn't worth mentioning. It seemed as if the early diners were not acknowledged as it wasn't their "busy time." The restroom was obviously not cleaned from the night before. The overall experience was disappointing as we have been to this restaurant many times for special occasion dinners. It appears that the early bird diners will be ignored and not treated as the diners during busier times. I will not return after this experience. Thank you for listening. Hopefully this feedback will be useful for future early bird diners.

We went there and tried their vegetarian and normal menu. All our dishes came out fantastic! Their miso brussell sprouts was phenomenal and the pork chop I had was probably one of the best pork chops I had in a really long time.

Our waiter was great, got us drinks and food promptly with a great attitude.

Only thing I would love to change is probably the overall size and noice level of the restaurant. It feels a bit small and you can hear alot of people throughout the restaurant. Along with that maybe dim the lights a little, where we sat we had overhead lights that were beaming down on our table and a candle that really didnt do much, given how bright it was. Would be fantastic to maybe dim the lights and have more of a "candle-lit" dinner feel.

I'd highly recommend this place for an anniversary or special occasion, since it is a bit pricier.

We have been going to Barking Frog for many years. Although their food is usually very good, I've found them to be inconsistent as of late...I find that I can have 2 or 3 terrific meals, then go back and have a disappointing one - this was one such visit, although only with the food. We were seated right away by a very nice Hostess, Our server, as well, was very nice, personable, and kept up a good pace. Barking Frog was recently remodeled and everything looked beautiful and cozy inside.
The food: I ordered their burger "medium rare" and it was delivered just about well-done. I knew I would only finish half of it, so chose not to send it back. I did mention to the server that it was pretty well done and she asked if it was "too well done"...well, yes, when I ordered it medium rare, that would be the case. She was polite and offered a couple of times to have it re-done, but I declined. In the end, she took it off the bill after discussing it with the Manager. My husband's seafood salad was fine, and our other companion felt that his short rib sandwich was "adequate", at best. We'd also ordered garlic fries - which tasted like yesterday's garlic fries - soggy, limp - just inedible. I know that you take that risk when you're dining at the very beginning of service - I just don't expect this from this restaurant.
Finally, as we departed, the Manager was very nice and asked, as we exited, "How was your lunch today?" My companion said, "Oh, it was adequate", to which the Manager smiled and replied, "Oh great, thanks for coming in." Are you really listening, Barking Frog?

We went to the Barking Frog for a prix fie Valentine dinner with wine pairing. The server was very gracious and even made a substitution for us on this dinner which we really appreciated. This was the official reopening of the restaurant after a substantial remodel of the kitchen and this could have been part of our problem. The food was just warm, not hot. Not sure what the dynamic is of this but that was our experience. The food itself was excellent but warm was a disappointment. Since this was a special dinner for us, we did not choose to send the food back to be rewarmed. Other than that, it was a wonderful evening.

Brought mom and dad for dads birthday. Usually my fiance' and i sit in the bar and Nick is our waiter. He's awesome. This time we got a table and our waiter was dissapointing. He kept forgetting mom and dads brussels sprouts which we ordered as a salad course. We got our beets and ate while they had nothing. Food finally arrived and still no sprouts. Finally arrived after the meal and dad didnt even try them. Too bad. He loves brussels sprouts!!

Well, it was overally expensive for the amount of food you received. We went for the New Year weekend but would not go back. It was like going out for 3 regular meals but not nearly the same amount of food - we don't spend that much for food and usually take home letovers. Here, we paid for the "bread service" knowing the portions would be very small. The food was good, I'll say that, but with 8-10 ingredients per dish, I guess they think it warrants the super high price - and we DID NOT have alcohol! I can't imagine what the bill would have cost with wine added in.
Again, overall good ambiance, very small place though, and the food to price ratio was obscene. I don't recommend it and will not be back.

Absolutely delicious! The food at the Barking Frog was outstanding. They offer a Tasting Menu that you can completely customize so we got to try a bit of everything and everything we tried (4 different items for each of us) we loved! The service was exceptional. Can't wait to visit Woodinville again to return to The Barking Frog for dinner!

Love the Barking Frog. Went there for a company lunch. Service started a little slow ...we were there for about 15 minutes before anyone came to take our drink order. They said they’d be right with us when we got there, but it took a bit. Once they finally did get to us things were much better. Food was excellent!
