We celebrated an anniversary at Barking Frog. It was not our first visit, and I'm sure we will be back. We had a lovely meal from start to finish. Every item was seasonal and very well prepared. The service was attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere was lovely and warm on an unseasonably chilly evening.
It was a great day with excellent service and good food!! Need to change ambiance.
Our go to place - Anniversary and they made it special!
Great food. Great service. Will return again. Thank you
Wonderful as always.
Excellent service, environment and food!
Professional, attentive and helpful service, outstanding food choices. Everything we choose was beautifully plated and delicious.
We celebrated our anniversary with good friends. The setting, food and service were exceptional. Highly recommend and we will definitely be returning.
The courtyard is lovely, the salad was delicious, and our waitress was fantastic!
Food was good - as usual. The service is just really slow no matter how full the restaurant is. My mom, who lives nearby, likes going there (and agrees service is slow), so I’ve been many times. This visit, it took 40 minutes to get our breakfast for a table of 2 and the restaurant was at 40-50% capacity. Also, the short, dark haired lady who appears to be a manager or hostess is never friendly. She may want to at least pretend she enjoys her job and smile once in awhile as she is seating guests. Coincidentally, during our last visit, we heard a waitress tell that woman she found her very difficult to work with. I’d say even if it was a joke, not very entertaining for your guests to hear. And we didn’t think it seemed like a joke since neither of them laughed or smiled.
Great food - great atmosphere. I return here often and bring new people to experience the tasty food and good service
Fantastic food and wine! Beautiful location and well worth the cost.
Ate outside on a beautiful evening, on a charming patio. Food always delicious and innovative. A memorable occasion.
We went for our anniversary and it was amazing! Delicious food! Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to go on a fancy date night!
Took a long time for our waitress to take our drink order then equally as long to get our drinks. The food was not at all the quality that we remembered.
Always a wonderful experience. Thank you
A++ as usual. Food is always great as is the service. Love seating on the patio
It is always a wonderful dining experience at Barking Frog. The menu selections so very creative and delicious! Love their brunch sparkling wine choices as well. This is a "not to be missed" dining experience in Woodinville!
Beautiful environment. Delicious food and great menu. Definitely want to go back on a date and with friends!
Wonderful food and service, an absolute treat! Can’t wait to come back.
Two of us had the Reuben sandwich. Delicious but recommend you offer an alternative to fries as a side!
I wanted so much to love this restaurant. The patio is lovely and our table was nice and quiet. I was offered a blanket as the night was a little chilly. Unfortunately there were some missteps with the kitchen that made the experience average rather than something special. The salmon dish arrived dry and it took a while for our server to come back and check on us. But when I mentioned the condition of my dish turns out they completely forgot to add the broth that was supposed to be served with it. The server graciously brought us a free dessert. However when the check arrived the price of the chicken my husband ordered was way off from what was printed on the menu. I don’t usually like to write a review, but these kind of missteps shouldn’t happen in a seasoned restaurant like Barking Frog
I was very disappointed to see that now Barking frog is charging to park when you eat dinner there, I understand the need to pay to park when I eat in Seattle but let's face it this is Woodinville. I also will add that the valet are not very pleasant.
Generally good experience. One unfortunate thing. We arrived for our reservation, waited for the 2 couples ahead of us to be seated. In the meantime another couple arrived. The hostess presented menus and a server to THAT couple before us, and when I started to step forward, said "we're seating you at the same time". Well, not quite. Another server arrived shortly and we were seated. The episode was minor, but rude, and it affect our feeling about the restaurant--not quite classy. The other couple was young (we are in our 50s and 60s), attractive, and appeared well to do. We were dressed more casually because we were going to be attending an outdoor concert. however, despite appearing less well to do, the hostess might do well to know that we are actually local millionaires--in case she was judging by appearance. You can't tell from appearances, but she surely WILL be judged by how she treats the guests. Next time, take us in order, please.
We come back to the Barking Frog annually to celebrate our anniversary. It’s great every time!
The greeter was slow and plodding, setting up several empty tables while we waited to be seated. Food took forever to arrive even though the lunch menu is very limited. Food was fine but not special...the prices are special!
Service was slow, it took a very long time to get it our drinks and our meal. I let the waiter know I couldn’t tolerate milk or dairy, pretty sure there was dairy in my food based on how my body reacted to the meal.
My beef was full
Of grizzle and the other foods were just ok. Breads were tasty. I’ve eaten here before with better flavors in the past. Sorry
Birthday surprise and very surprised my husband was. The food was excellent and you can’t beat dining outside on their fabulous patio!
We sat outdoors. Nice. Very, very noisy indoors. Hang flags or something to muffle the sound.
Wonderful service and food, both for our anniversary dinner, and breakfast the next day!
The food was remarkable, delicious and creative. The kitchen was a bit backed up so service was quite slow, but all was worth the wait.
The Barking Frog is a great choice if your looking for a dining adventure in a beautiful setting. The dishes are delicious and unconventional and fun to share with friends. If you are willing to try new things and don't mind paying for the experience, Barking Frog will not disappoint.
Excellent service, food, and atmosphere. We will definitely go back!
Bill was our server and he was great. We did the tasting menu and got to experience some delicious food. Glad we did the tasting menu to get to taste a variety of the menu.
True Pacific Northwest farm-to-table cuisine that is done in fine fashion. The service is always excellent and the staff are very knowledgeable of the menu items and the wine pairings.
Perfect for a special celebration!
Our experience at Barking Frog was very disappointing. Our shrimp app had so much cream sauce on it we couldn’t taste the shrimp. The bacon wrapped shrimp on our Cobb salads was so over cooked you couldn’t cut it in two with a knife and we were served a side of bacon that wasn’t eatable. We’ve been their 20 times and we’re questioning if we’ll ever go back.
