   The Barking Dog Restaurant is hands down one of the best spots in the theater district, especially if you're a dog lover! The story behind this place is heartwarming—an owner from Europe came to the U.S. nearly thirty years ago with a dream to create a cozy neighborhood spot where both people and their pups could feel right at home. Inspired by NYC's lively vibe, The Barking Dog was born, and it’s been a hit ever since! Right from the start, Lucy, the general manager, made us feel super welcome. Dennis, our waiter, was amazing and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. We kicked things off with some tasty guacamole and chips, and then moved on to the Friendly Burger and jumbo wings. Everything was beyond delicious! The outdoor patio is perfect, and the fact that dogs are not just allowed but have their own menu is a huge plus. We saw many furry friends spoiled with treats from the friendly staff, making the experience even more special. We’re coming back on a weekend to try their brunch. Thinking fluffy pancakes, waffles, and mimosas! All this in a dog-friendly setting—what more could you ask for? Overall, The Barking Dog is a fantastic spot where you and your pup can enjoy great food in a laid-back atmosphere. We had a blast and can’t wait to come back!

   They were out of quite a bit and it took a bit to get everything but the outdoor experience was lovely!

   We had a great experience at Barking Dog. Sitting outside in the city but still feeling you're away from the hustle and bustle a bit is a nice treat. The ambience was great as was the service all around. Everyone was very gracious and friendly and helpful even with our stroller getting through. The food was delicious as well and we will definitely be back!

   Enjoyed outside dining with good weather. Enjoyed the rottweiller burger and fries- could have used more bbq sauce but tasty. My friend enjoyed Nashville cod sandwich and fried

   Nice spot for Easter breakfast/brunch complete with dog. Chefs omelette , Eggs Benedict and a Chorizo Fritatta were well done. My favorite is the Challah French Toast. We sat outside. My Bloody Mary was just ok.

   Booked it last minute because of proximity to our theater. We were able to get a beautiful table outside and our server, Chris was phenomenal in making sure we had our food and drinks before the show. the kitchen was backed up that day, so my steak was overcooked, But really enjoyed the drinks and the restaurant experience.

   Sitting outside on a beautiful day to eat is wonderful—but waiting for 15 minutes for waitstaff to appear and only after asking is not. This restaurant has a great location—in an open space right by a fountain—but they are very understaffed. Food was cool when served and part of our order was missing. Used to love this restaurant—probably will not go again.

   Omg we had the best time here! The staff is top notch and attentive even when sitting outside. The yappy hour is AMAZING!! Do not sleep on the 50% off cocktails with a dog!! Heck, get a dog just so you can bring them here for this deal!
