The food was great for brunch and the staff were above and beyond amazing! I loved the gift shop as well. I didn't order the hair of the dog bloody Mary but my goodness I watched the bar tender make 3 and was thoroughly impressed with each one. I highly recommend going!! #AdoptDontShop

The decor was spartan but clean. Food is standard pub fare, but well prepared. Guess they were out of waffles for the chicken and waffle sandwich, since it came on a bun.

It was my birthday and from the second we, my daughter and I walked in, we were treated so great! We visited the dogs and cats. We shopped your little boutique. We ate pretzel bones loved that cheese! And fried whole pickles! Omg so good! Stephanie was a FANTASTIC waitress and even brought me a pc of cheesecake and candle for it to go! My daughter and I will be back and I have bragged to all my friends on facebook how awesome it was! Thank you for an awesome birthday experience!

Bart - I'm not sure where this review comes from? Dogs are not allowed inside ANY restaurant in Spokane County due to regulations by the Regional Health Department (service dogs excluded). We gladly welcome dogs and have even had a goat and a pet pig on our patio. If there was anything else about your visit that warrants a 1 star review I would love to hear about it. Josh Owner

Bark is in the puppy stage of operation but overall is a positive experience.
1. We took our animal visit prior to dining and that was run well by staff and we had a positive experience.
2. We had a dinner reservation and the hostess had no place to seat us and she melted. We waited for 30 minutes and no one interacted with us until I sought out a member of wait staff. The manager et al worked to seat our party at two separate tables which was fine.
3. Food was thoughtful, tasty, and served in a decent time frame. Wait staff was friendly and kind but in general inexperienced and lacked proper training for their position. As an example, it took us four tries to get utensils. Some of the food was cool when it arrived at table.
I look forward to seeing Bark grow out of its puppy stage into a well-run and trained establishment. Their mission of bringing animals and people together within the hospitality of a pub environment is a worthy one. Side note: scheduling for animal visits should be prior or after dining instead of during as hostess could not tell of patrons had left their tables permanently or would be returning.

This was our fourth time visiting Bark so we already know we love the food! Our waitress was attentive and helpful in making suggestions on what to order. We are on the patio which had a great amount of space between tables and the road is not too noisy. As always, a five star pub experience!

Food was delicious, our waiter recommended a vegan curry bowl that I really enjoyed. After lunch we visited with the dogs and cats and while we were there, two puppies and a kitten were adopted. I will definitely go back.

Service was bad our server hardly ever came and checked on us we had to ask for silverware 10min after we got our appetizer.
Food was over cooked and if you order the chicken keep in mind its dark meat not white meat which is so cheap on the business I asked for a medium cooked burger and got a burnt hockey puck I could hardly cut. The menu is so miss leading.

Thanks for choosing to visit us on a special occasion and thank you for taking your time to share your experience. I am sorry that your experience was not what the rest of our reviews indicate. We did have some struggles Saturday night and the slow service is not what we want our guests to experience. We dropped the ball on your visit. Whether you choose to return or not I know that we will improve on the issues we experienced over the weekend. We hope to serve you again in the future.

Went there with an expectation of adopting a dog. I made reservations for 3 and they asked for $15. When I got there, 1 1/2 hours after I made the appointment, there were no animals to adopt. They had 1 dog that was already adopted. When asked why the 3 of us where even lead back to the kennels, the immediate response was “I can get a manager.“ Then other employees within ear range started adding their two cents. I heard many explanations but none that made sense to me. We all felt taken advantage of. If there wasn’t any adoptions available, at least offer another time to come back. Take our names and a type of dog and give a heads up text. Offer a better time to come back. I get that supply and demand is tricky but that’s kinda your business model you chose. Bad experience and we will not be back and I will tell others. Hope you figure it out.

Mike, as you can imagine balancing the new concept has its pitfalls. One of them is popularity leads to A LOT of adoptions (123 in the first 6 weeks). The online reservation system has no knowledge of if the Adoption Center has animals or not. Our standard response to this situation is either a refund, pass for another time, or your fee can be a donation to the Spokane Humane Society. Clearly a little more training is needed on these options. All we can ask is for some grace and another chance.

We went to brunch on Sunday 9/13. We had Dominick as our server and he was fabulous. He was able to answer any questions we had despite it being only the second weekend of brunch. We added a visit to the shelter area and had so much fun plying with the pups!

We were excited to go to Bark because we heard the food was good and the animals ❤️. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food. I had the fried pickles and pretzel appetizers for my lunch. The others had burgers and tacos. Restaurant was very clean. We were disappointed with not being able to take the dogs out of the kennels because there were other people with the dogs. I think there could be a different process to allow everyone to play with the dogs. My table mates played with the kittens (I'm allergic). I woul definitely go back for the food.

My sister and I had a great time at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the menu was diverse and everything looked amazing. I had the pork tacos and she had a burger. Both meals were good. We also had drinks from their wide selection of beer and ciders. Our waitress was AMAZING! Loved her and she guided us through the menu and had suggestions of her own on what she loves eating there. We also paid the extra $5 to go see the adoptable pups and kitties - that was a great experience. We took each pup out of their kennel and into the back play area. The staff working with the pups were amazing and we loved chatting with them. Overall, I will come here again and again! Such a good cause that money goes to as well. #adoptdontshop

Bark has a good variety of delicious options! We had lunch there a couple weeks ago and brunch today. The breakfast enchilada is amazing! The housemade chip platter is delicious! The cucumber martini with housemade habanero is a refreshing and delicious choice! The patio has plenty of shade to bring your friendly, furry pups along where they get there own bowl of water.
