Welcome to Baringa Tavern, located on the corner of Aura Boulevard and Edwards Terrace, Baringa within the new City of Colour “Aura” on the Sunshine Coast. We are locally owned and operated by Sunshine Coast Hotels Pty Ltd.

The Tavern's décor has a slight tribal influence with original artwork, artefacts and a striking main bar which forms the centerpiece of the bistro dining area. There is ample seating on the deck overlooking the parkland area, an open kitchen with a fabulous woodfired pizza oven and a large children’s room.

The amazing sports bar has a massive 15m video wall and outdoor deck. There are 40 taps across both bars, a gaming lounge with 25 of the latest machines and a drive thru bottle shop on site.

4th time as a family we have had dinner here over the past 12 months. First 2 times meals were great value for money and service was good. The steaks were amazing and perfectly cooked. The last 2 times the main meals were mediocre, tasteless, overcooked and not value for money with the increase in costs. Kids meals have been great with plenty of options although having a kids drink part of the meal deal would be good idea instead of an ice cream bar option. Bar staff are brilliant, no fault. Floor staff are friendly and welcoming. The kids play room needs to be fixed up as most of the machines did not work and my kids wanted to go home early because of this. Too many money games too which can be a real pain for parents on tight budgets. Overall, could do with some improvements given the location is in a largely family populated area.

Hi Lisa. Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear about the quality of food. This is certainly unlike Baringa Tavern. I have spoken to the exec. chef who will speak to the chefs to ensure we improve on this. Not sure what has happened with the kids machines but will ensure management have these fixed asap. Customer service was incredible, Food was delicious and was surprisingly quick given the crowd. Well done!!

Mothers day lunch with the family at Baringa Tavern - I'm always impressed by the consistency of quality and service. Lunch was served quickly, the prices were good and staff were friendly and helpful.

Hi Excellent, except for the ordering process. Once we were seated, read the menu and ready to order, I had to stand and wave my arm as if I was trying to stop a taxi to get a staff’s attention . Frustrating, especially if there’s a crowd having meals. There should be an easier way. Regards Ron

The waitress who took our order was incredibly rude when a request had been made to change out an item for something else. She had an attitude from the moment we sat down and it felt like she was trying to rush the entire table out the door. It was supposed to be a special night with family but she will now make it memorable in a negative regard.
