Bari Ristorante Enoteca is the city's only Southeastern Italian restaurant and wine bar. Creating the regional cuisine of his family, Chef Jason Severs' renditions of antipasto, salads, meats and seafood, over 20 Italian cheeses, plus homemade pasta, bread, and desserts, give diners a true taste of this Italian Region. Whether you order a multi-course meal like they do in Italy, or only one or two dishes, you will love the simplicity and freshness of Bari's food and excellent Italian wines. The Enoteca is open an hour before and after the dining room, offering and extensive all-Italian wine list.

One of our favorite restaurants, Bari never disappoints! My only complaint on the night we went is they were out of the tomato soup I’ve had before and LOVED. Our waitress was very good and paced the meal well; our side vegetable was green beans with garlic and balsamic vinegar which was DELICIOUS. We had 2 types of cheese for dessert and the grapefruit sections in a Campari-sugar glaze, AMAZING.

Another wonderful experience at the best Italian restaurant within 500 miles of Memphis, and one of the best of any type. The food is outstanding, the wine list extraordinary, and the service warm and efficient. Do yourself a favor — make a reservation and have dinner at Bari.

Our trip to Bari was like an excursion to Italy, very authentic menu and the meal was fantastic. We went before going to the Orpheum and had a wonderful time. Very attentive staff and the ambiance is incredible. Our meal consisted of several types of salads, then a cheese/salami plate. I had the small elephant ear pasta, others had various types of pasta and the steak. Overall a delightful meal.

The food was very good and reminded my wife and me of our trip to Italy. The only thing we both agreed could have been better were the chairs. The cushions on the chairs were so worn out that we could not sit any longer and skipped dessert.

We always have a cheese and meat plate with great wine in the bar. Hunter, the bartender, chooses for us and it is always excellent. Tonight we ate on the restaurant side. The service was fine. But my friend had a steak that was tough and not cooked properly. I had 2 scallops as an entree. 2 I didn’t like them with fennel. The Brussels sprouts were great. The bill was $240! So overpriced.

I have not lived in Italy, but I have spent time there and I found the food at Bari to be representative of Italian food. They have an excellent Italian wine list amd tbe tiger prawns were some of the best i have had. The service could not have been better.

My significant other and I tried out Bari for the first time with high expectations because of all the great reviews we had read. Unfortunately, Bari fell a little short of our expectations. It was not a bad experience by any means, but it did not impress us either. The atmosphere is romantic and perfect for date night, and our server was knowledgeable and attentive. The wide selection of cheeses and salumi was easily our favorite part of the meal. Aside from that, the food was mediocre. The appetizer we got had a slightly burnt taste to it, and the pasta was overcooked. The dessert was okay. Overall, we had a pleasant evening, but for the price, this would not be our first choice for Italian food in Memphis.

The food! Scallops, snapper, roasted pepper soup, misto olives, excellent wine! The crafted cocktails from the quaint little upstairs bar were perfect. Morgan enjoys a conversation about your preferences and works her magic in creating the perfect one! Highly recommend this restaurant!

Salads and pastas amazing. Wish we had more of it. Halibut savory and light all at the same time. Leigh, our server, was as much personable and friendly as she was knowledgeable about the menu. We had never been before, asked for suggestions from wine to dessert and she took care of us from start to finish!

We had an amazing experience. The cocktail menu did not have a previous cocktail that I had previously, but the bartender had all the ingredients and made the cocktail for me. I thought that was a nice touch. Food and service were excellent! All around good experience for our first time dinning in and not just visiting for drinks.

Had a great experience at Bari. Everything from the food, the music, the service were exceptional. Bobby mentioned he’s worked there for nearly three years and it showed. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the intimidating menu and his service was on point the entire evening.

Bari is a good restaurant that has great food and good service. It has quaint atmosphere and fairly low noise level. The prices are a little higher than comparable restaurants but you should be guaranteed a good dining experience.

Bari is our very favorite restaurant in Memphis. Our palettes are always thrilled. Jason is an enlightened chef. Rebecca is a lovely and welcoming hostess. We are never disappointed. We spent a wonderful New Year's Eve in a delightful setting with marvelous food.

I was very disappointed by Bari. I went to Bari in hopes that my husband would have a special birthday dinner, unfortunately I was wrong. Our ghost waiter was rude and rarely came by. The best part of this restaurant is the cheese and wine menu. I noted this was a special Birthday dinner and nothing came of it. We will not be back! Should have gone to Catherine and Mary’s.

Started out early at the bar. Small and cute but the service could be so much better. Waited almost 20 minutes to final have our drink order taken. Checked in at the stand 40 minutes before our reservation and told them that they could get us early if our table was open. At our reservation time, went back up to remind them and they said, “Oh yes, your table is ready.” Restaurant was already half empty and I noted at least 10 guests that they turned away while we were at the bar, citing a full evening. Our waitress was lovely and very attentive.....sorry, I can’t remember her name. Food was good but not great. I certainly would suggest you give it a try, as our night may have been off, but there are lots of places to try in Memphis so I am not sure I would be back quickly.

We go to Bari just once or twice each year. It is always great. The service is quite good. And the food is excellent -- but you have to order for your tastes. Bari has a very comfortable atmosphere. We took 2 1/2 hours for dinner with friends -- and enjoyed every minute. The check at the end of the meal is not for the those who have timid credit cards.

My wife and I love great food and service and are fairly discerning. We have dined all over the world and specifically at Bari well over 14 times. Bari never ceases to please. Menu items have been served there consistently for years. The wait staff has low turnover ensuring good and reliable service. The fish and seafood (i.e. tuna or scallops) are particularly delicious after a cheese plate appetizer (have the wait person select 2, 3, or 4 sample cheeses). A pasta selection or two should not be missed. Wines are fairly priced and delicious as well.

Bari was a very relaxing and fitting atmosphere for our 2nd anniversary dinner. I had a filet on special and it may have been the best steak I have ever eaten. Absolutely amazing. The soup was made of potato and carrots without cream, and I couldn't believe it because it was seasoned and pureed in such a way that it was so rich and delicious and ...creamy. I would highly recommend it for special occasions.

One of my ABSOLUTE favorite restaurants in Memphis! My parents came for a visit, so that was the excuse for this visit, but I will eat here anytime for any reason. The food is fantastic, delicately flavored and super fresh and tasty. Their wine list is extensive, but even better is the cheese list; ask your server for their favorites and try 3-4 at the end of your meal instead of a sweet dessert.
