Great date spot! Booked Bari for an intimate anniversary dinner and it didn't disappoint. Definitely recommend it.
First visit. Loved the pasta and meatballs. Portions a little small, esp pasta. Bread before dinner a little bland and very small portions. Got there early. Already out of brussel sprouts. Wait staff very attentive.
The cheese appetizer and the Pasta Carbonara are highlights. Th calamari though good could’ve used a dipping sauce in my opinion. If you like shrimp the jumbo prawn dish is good and the prawns are massive. I’ve eaten there twice and will certainly go back especially for the Carbonara.
Bari never disappoints. It is an intimate restaurant with a lot of charm and ambiance. The food is also exquisite and the service impeccable. We don't have too many restaurants in Memphis of this caliber.
Il pesce che ho mangiato, un branzino era ottimo. Buona carta dei vini.
Our first time here was amazing. I recommend starting with wine, cheese, and meat tasting. After that, soups/salads and the main meal. The Meat was extremely tender, and pasta was excellent. It was worth every penny.
Outstanding as usual!
Excellent service, food and wine
Nice environment, excellent service, great selection of cheese and high quality food, even if pastas were not great, and they really should be better in such a restaurant, especially the orecchiette pasta, which is the hallmark of Puglia cuisine in the world.
This is an outstanding little restaurant with attractive and open decor yet very cozy. The noise level was perfect for conversation. Our server was wonderful as was the food. The orzo crabmeat dish was outstanding especially the sauce. The snapper was perfectly cooked and we loves the citrus fennel flavors with the fish.
Sorry we did not have room for dessert.
Great food. Great cocktail. Best chocolate cake. Great service. My new favorite restaurant in town.
I can’t say enough good about this restaurant. The servers are friendly and know what they are serving. The atmosphere is relaxed and fun. November is meatball month but not sure why it’s just in November. Heading back in November.
Love this place!!! The cheese selection is out of this world. Had the fresh catch of the day & it was delicious!! I could eat here every week if I lived in Memphis!!
We had a great time at Bari. It was my wife birthday and waiter extremely nice, informative, and ways seemed available when we needed him. Thanks for the great evening!
Excellent food and service. Great cheese selection
Consistently delicious! Most professional service in Memphis.
Delicious food , excellent service and good wine. Most enjoyable evening.
this little restaurant is one of my all time favorites. very professional, yet warm friendly staff. the food is amazing. quiet ambience and just delightful.
Great as always - one of our family’s favorite places.
Very good, as always!
Sardines were bitter and inedible. Service was clumsy.
The food was delicious-wonderful bronzino! The server did forget my second glass of wine, but I probably didn’t need it anyway. We were two mature women who split an entree, salad and appetizer, each of us had a glass of wine, and it was just the right amount of food. If you’re younger or a man or very active, you’ll probably need your own entree. Servings are appropriate but not generous (which is perfect for some of us who no longer require (darn it!) large amounts of calories.)
Another great meal at Bari. Super specials, wonderful cheeses, superb pasta and the service is excellent.
Our dinner lasted 3 hours, the first waiting for meat & cheese plate. Restaurant was not crowded, but our server was not attentive. When entrees finally arrived, the 2 fish dishes were COLD. I have dined here several times, and was really disappointed this time.
Bari is fabulous! Wonderful food, drinks, and staff. I highly recommend Bari.
The servers here are fantastic and know the menu inside and out. We love trusting them to suggest wine pairings and cheeses to try.
Bari is one of our favorites in Memphis.
We visited Bari for the first time in years. Of course, it says something positive about any restaurant which survives for years. We had forgotten the many options on the menu. Bari serves a wide variety of delicious cheeses. The wine list is expansive, and you have many suitable choices for under $40. My wife had a whole fish entrée that she enjoyed, and I had a pasta course that was very tasty. We did not leave room for dessert, but Bari had several appealing options. We will return soon.
Everything was fantastic!
Cheese & wine selection are incredible. Nothing else in Memphis has a selection of Italian specialties like Bari. The food is wonderful & I always find something new to try. Mottura Primitivo & Blu 61 were a match made in heaven.
Bari is always great. They changed the Rigatoni recipe and I don't love it as much as the old but still very good.
Such great experience! The menu really features great seafood prepared in authentic coastal Italian way!
It’s always a great dining experience!! The food is phenomenal! Great for any occasion.
The service was spectacular and my date and I enjoyed the food and the ambiance.
Birthday for friend. What, no cake?
My husband and I came here for my birthday and the carbonara was AMAZING! I’ve been craving it since we left! We will absolutely be back!
We have always enjoyed Bari in the past but this time it was lackluster. Service was slow and lackadaisical. Water glasses went empty and in a Tuesday night with not many customers, our meal took over 2 hours. It was beyond leisurely. The food was good as usual.
I forgot how charming Bari is. It had been a number of years since my last visit. The menu is creative (the salad with hazelnuts and grapefruit is to die for) and they have a wonderful cocktail menu and wine list. If you are a cheese lover, this is definitely the place for you. They are all imported from Italy. I’ll be back for sure much sooner than before!
We have enjoyed going to Bari for 12+ years. The food and service are always fantastic! It’s one of my favorite places to dine in Memphis.
I had high expectations for Bari given the very favorable reviews. Overall, the experience was somewhat disappointing. The wine and salads were good, but the pasta courses were unremarkable and the vegetables were tough. I generally limit carbs, but splurge at nicer places. At Bari, two small thin slices of bread are served per person. When we requested more to go with the cheese we ordered, we were given one small slice each. The waiter said that was our limit. The meal was $230 for three people.
