    Came to celebrate my birthday with a friend. Curios about the idea of a buffet/small plate brunch. The variety on the buffet and menu was extensive. So many delicious options and the food was prepared in a unique and fresh way. Loved the devilled eggs, steak and eggs, Fried chicken, chickpea curry. The service was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was warm and Inviting. Looking forward to my next visit.

    Food was excellent, however the portions were a little light. Perhaps we wanted a larger portion because it tasted amazing. So much flavour. Ambience and service was excellent.

    Enjoyed the delicious bee sting pizza as a shareable appetizer and the Mac and cheese and umami burger as entrees and absolutely loved it all! The service was great, patio was nicely shaded for a hot day, and food was delicious. Will definitely be back.

    Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. So, much so I will be cancelling a reservation I had made for August. It was not very busy, so the food on the buffet had been sitting out a long time. It was as apparent in both appearance and taste. The variety was not what it once was when it was The Bread Bar. We had to wait a long time for one of our rounds of ordered food. I feel the server forgot to enter it, despite the restaurant being very quiet. She was apologetic. Overall, I do not feel the value is there for the price. I also do not drink alcohol. I feel there should be a price point difference for those that choose the mocktail option. As well as for those that are between 15-18. This seems very unfair. I will not be back for brunch. However, will continue to visit for the regular menu that we quite enjoy.

    The brunch was delicious, lots of options for people with different dietary restrictions and was great for the price. My table really enjoyed the eggs Benedict, the duck and asparagus and the stuffed croissant. From the buffet the pizza was awesome and the trifle had us going back for seconds. I would easily recommend Bardo Brunch for a special occasion or an amazing Sunday morning date.
