    Everything was simply amazing!!! From the waitress to the cooks, to the food, to the ambience it was amazing! Amazing staff for sure! Jenna our waitress is everything! Such a sweet soul for sure. Wish i got to meet the owner to let him know how beautifully everything was.

    Great food pallet, interesting flavors and twists. Try the pop tart buratta, and lamb buns. Pork collar was great, the steak was wonderful. Wish we had time for dessert. The staff was helpful but I think there were a few large parties and it threw off the flow of the kitchen. Or our server forgot to put in our orders. It happens, but after waiting an hour for a simple shrimp cocktail appetizer. And basically begging for our food, we got it at 7:28 and we had a show up the street that started at 8. We were less pleased to be so rushed. It was also weird that our food didn’t come out together. Like one would come then 10 mins later another dish. I hope it was just a short staffed busy night and this isn’t there typical. I’ve had a lot of people recommend it and they rave about it. It is definitely worth a 2nd shot.

    Service, ambiance and food is unbeatable! We had the avocado, house salad, carrots, and eggplant for starters. We had the gnocci and chicken for entree. Everything was so delicious! The owner was so nice, and even came and cleaned off our table. I can’t wait to go back.

    Wonderful experience, as usual! Kylee, our server, took great care of us and the cuisine was inspired and creative. Manager Chris was the consummate host overseeing our table and making us feel extra special with his superb hospitality! Can’t wait to return.

    Very good food and a top-notch staff. Our server, Emily, was just excellent - very knowledgeable answering our questions about the menu and seemingly always available despite handling a table of twenty nearby. Our dinner at Bardea was a very pleasant experience.

    Bardea food and drink NEVER disappoints. Their food is amazing and service is outstanding. I put a message in our reservation about my husband’s 40th birthday and they had a special menu with a “happy birthday” note on it waiting, the server acknowledged his birthday, and they also placed a candle in his dessert (that one I requested). We love this place, and we’ll be back many many more times. Thanks!

    Another excellent night out at Bardea. Each dish was better than the next!! We have never had anything we didn’t love. Make sure to ask for the bread service!! Made reservations for another night while we were eating! lol.

    I have been to Bardea a number of times, but in the past week, I have been twice. On both nights, Kylee was my server, who was absolutely delightful. The reason I came twice in one week is because I had their espresso martini on Thursday night and it was all I thought about for the next 48 hours. I had to come back and have it again! And it did not disappoint. The food was incredible and out of this world. The beef skewers and the lamb bao buns are my new favorites. I also have to give a shout-out to the dish that never disappoints, the Burrata pop tart. Amazing. I always leave Bardea completely happy and wanting to come back soon! Thank you again for a wonderful dining experience!

    Visited to celebrate a birthday and order as many things off the menu to share as we could. The food is a👏🏻maze👏🏻ing👏🏻. The service was exceptional as well. With a menu that changes with the seasons, I can’t wait to go back and eat new things!

    We always enjoy Bardea but this was probably the best meal ever. We strongly recommend the crab roll and the halibut. They were exceptional. We hope they can stay on the menu. The ravioli dish was just as great. As always, the service was outstanding. Emily is the best. Thanks for a great evening.

    I took guests from out of town to Bardea, and our dining experience was phenomenal! Service was impeccable and the food was outstanding! We also noted that we appreciated the addition of the 3% charge to ensure that staff receive medical benefits. It shows when an employer cares about staff!

    Enjoyed the ribs and sunchokes. The frito misto was greasy with little flavor and soggy texture especially the beignets. The fried food was more like a fast food pickup meal. "Toast" desert was balanced both in flavors and layers of texture. Will return for a future meal but stay clear of fried foods on the menu.

    Excellent service! Our server was exceptional. The place has a nice vibe and perfect lighting. There are no tablecloths, which I expected at the price point. The food was very different from anything I have ever experienced including eating in many restaurants for 25 + years in NYC. Tasty dishes are prepared with great flair and presentation but ridiculously small portions for some of them. The bread was very expensive ($12.00). I have never paid that amount for bread. My young daughter loves the place and I will return if she asks, but only for her. Perhaps I should try Bardea Steak.

    A hip spot - though very loud. The charred octopus dish was incredible. The service was fantastic and they also easily accommodated a gluten allergy, with most menu items modifiable. Some foods were not timed quite right (pasta that could have cooked another minute, a dumpling that was fried too hot too quickly that left the center slightly underdone), but all in all, this was a delicious small plate experience. Would definitely come back.

    The food was fantastic, as always. Everything we had was either very good or outstanding. The service was helpful and attentive. The only negative was that when we got the car back from the valet, it smelled like weed.

    Bardea is easily my favorite restaurant in DE. The food was amazing - it’s meant to be shared and our server did an excellent job explaining the style and the portions. Everything we had was amazing - no weak spots. It was also our anniversary and they gave us free champagne for a toast when we sat down. So kind!

    Food was fantastic; service was even better; and we had a great evening. For our group’s tastes, the ambience is great, but a bit too loud. Frankly, and ironically, I would even say that in this current economy and with the quality of the food served, the food is probably 15% under-priced. And I would also say that the food at Bardea Steak is probably 15% over-priced, interestingly. Bardea is a special restaurant and dining experience and only improves over time. Well done!!

    One of the most enjoyable restaurant meals I’ve had in years! I went on a Wednesday evening with my two grown daughters. I had advised Bardea via OpenTable that one daughter had a fish allergy and it also was my birthday. They offer complimentary valet parking, which was great because I don’t get to downtown Wilmington often. Everyone who worked there, from the hostess, to our waiter, to our servers was friendly, welcoming and fun. They noted it was my birthday and the allergy issue. The restaurant was pleasantly bustling on a Wednesday evening. We were seated immediately, and service was on the ball and fun. Our waiter, Ryan, made clear which dishes were safe for my daughter. They brought us all a free prosecco for my birthday. We ordered mixed drinks, which were all very good, including my smoked old fashioned and my black Manhattan (hey, it was my birthday…). The cuisine is nouveau Italian with many small plates for sharing. We ordered six dishes (two were sides) to share. All were delicious and it was plenty of food. We tried Nonna’s meatballs and the beef and humus skewer to start. Excellent. Then we had the spicy honey pizza-great, and the pistachio ravioli-also excellent. We had two of the sides, which were as delightful as the mains, and which were a mushroom puff pastry dish and a very interesting warm beet dish. Just a delightful evening in a place with a great, upbeat, welcoming vibe. So glad we went!

    Food was absolutely stellar. Service was mediocre. Waiter walked away from us while we were talking twice and just seemed to talk over us. Could tell that on of our dishes was forgotten and then rushed as the pasta came out cold, chewy and undercooked. Overall still love the Bardea experience, I just wish some extra care was put into our experience

    Top notch all around. Went there for a girls night out and had an amazing time. Everyone was just super friendly and accommodating. Now honestly the menu is a bit complex BUT the food is delish!!! Go there.

    We’ve been to Bardea several times over the past few years. They continue to knock it out of the park. From the bartenders to the servers the service was simply amazing. The food is beyond delicious and the small plate concept allows you to taste as many dishes as you want. Ok it’s a tad pricey but what isn’t anymore. I did find this time it was noisy but it did not affect our good time there. I recommend this place highly.

    An amazing experience for my wife. Jeff and Scott were an absolute delight to work with. They were instrumental in making a magical evening for my wife and her friends for a surprise dinner. The attention to detail and the food were remarkable. Hands down best restaurant in the area

    Steak was chewy and gritty. Steak knives were not sharp enough. Slow to get steak and fish out. Waitress did a great job and was really friendly and nice. Great ambiance. Pop tart was awesome and inspired me to learn how to make puff pastry.

    It started the hostess being incredibly accommodating and caring recognizing our special needs daughter had anxiety about this table we were put and and she found us another table. Then onto our waitress who was perfect the whole night she had many tables but always kind and friendly. Then the food and drinks which rival any major city restaurant in terms of quality of dishes. This place is a gem and will only rise in popularity.
