   I live in Lakeview, and I’ve been coming here for years. I absolutely love them, their guacamole is to die for, I love their cocktails, and I can have their tacos for dinner every night. I especially recommend the bang bang shrimp. I’m looking forward to more this summer!

   Food service was a bit slow on taco Tuesday, no vegetarian options were brought out initially and we were even forgotten about twice. We finally got tacos after about 40 min. Drinks were good and the experience was worth the price.

   Perfect spot for a big group gathering. Food was mediocre but perfect for our needs.

   Thank you Barcocina! My friends and I had a fantastic time. Even when our reservation was over, they kindly moved us to the bar and provided us with a free pitcher of margaritas. The music was awesome and the service waa great! Had a blast celebrating my birthday and will definitely be back soon!

   I recently visited barcocina for my birthday, and I can honestly say it was one of the most frustrating dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, it was clear the service was going to be an issue. The hostess was nowhere to be found, and we were left standing awkwardly at the entrance for several minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. Once seated, things didn’t improve. Our waitress seemed uninterested in her job from the start. She barely looked at us when taking our order and had an impatient tone throughout the entire meal. She started of by telling us about her work experience the night before- which was unnecessary. When we expressed that we wanted to do the brunch she stated she was not going to let us do it and that everything had to be a la carte- she was just so rude and very dismissive. Things only got worse when we spoke to the manager. Rather than addressing our concerns with professionalism or trying to make the situation right, the manager seemed defensive and uninterested in offering any resolution. There was no offer to make up for the poor service, and the attitude was frankly insulting. It's clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority at this establishment. With so many great dining options in the area, I can’t recommend Barcocina to anyone. The bad service and lack of respect for customers made what should have been an enjoyable experience feel like a waste of time and money.

    Went for a Taco Tuesday date and everything was great! We got sat immediately, the service was great, and the marg flight was amazing! We will definitely be back!
