The restaurant was super loud, like shout across the table to be heard loud, plus the music on top of that. The cocktail I had was mostly ice. The tacos were mostly bland, but not awful. Prices are good. The biggest deterrent was just the noise level - really horrible.
The food was delicious! So many great choices to chose from. Everyone was satisfied with their meal. They also offer bottomless for brunch!
Awesome food with a nice view of the water. It was loud and the service was very slow for our party of 12. The food was delicious though!
We had been to Barcocina several times before and had drinks and appetizers and everything was delicious! We decided to take friends this past weekend and noticed the menu has changed significantly, what a disappointment. The apps that we really liked were gone and basically there was just average guacamole and tacos, it was fine but I wouldn't go back.
house margarita was awesome! Korean beef taco was tasty too
The food was amazing as usual and it was a great time to sit with my mother in law and just enjoy the day with her! Service was great and couldn’t have asked for anything better. Thanks!
Beautiful setting, outstanding service and value. OK so why not 5 stars for everything. Well there is only so much you can do with brunch and Barcocina does it well.
The views and food were amazing. The quality of food was great. The drinks were superb. This restaurant sat on the waterfront of such a cute town Fells Point. I will definitely be back. It was so cute inside as well as great to sit outside and look at the water. Loved it!
We had a group, all arriving separately. Our server made sure everyone was taken care of while we waited for others, was very patient with us, and kept all the orders straight. We were seated in a somewhat private corner. And the food was excellent too!
Great tacos, great peach sangria! Love the outdoor seating.
Food wasn’t great! Low on flavor - lacked any kind of hot sauce or spice! Too loud, I wouldn’t see it as energetic.
Main thing- food wasn’t great/ just bland
I would recommend it primarily for it's location and the ability to sit with a water view. The inside was noisy and we had to wait about 45 minutes for our food, longer than I would like. The food was good, but not great. The waitress was pleasant and the prices were reasonable.
Great lunch and wonderful view.
Great place, seated immediately, water provided, time to review menu and then a fabulous meal had by all! Thank you!
Awesome location near harbor. Good place to socialize must visit
We sat outside; the view was really nice! Service was okay, but it was very busy. Food was delicious and mimosas were great!
While the quality of the food, drinks, and environment are one to brag about. The service is not always. Our server was rarely around and when she was she did not often come to our table to check on us. Our table as well as another in her section had to take our bill to the front get someone to help us to pay and leave because of how little our server paid attention to her table.
Good for a large work group, but for everyone else don’t bother unless you get a spot outside. The food isn’t very good so don’t go for the food.
I arrived about 20min before the restaurant opened (I thought they opened an hour earlier than they do) and was still warmly greeted and seated in a beautiful spot. Our orders were taken shortly after we sat and the staff was all very sweet.
Ordered the Korean beef soft tacos. Smelled a little funny but ate one
Just ok wouldn’t recommend
Kimchi that was a side was inedible
Picturesque on the water. Nice breeze but don’t think I would eat here again
Salsa was expensive- but worth it!
Excellent lamb tacos. The yucca tots were minimal but good. Noise level inside was high so we sat outside.
We went for Brunch and the bottomless Mimosas. It was fun and the restaurant was in a scenic part of the Harbor which was worth it. The only thing I wasn’t a huge fan of that you should be aware of, is that the mimosas are served with Ice and then also the Huevos Rancheros was really watery because of the black beans. But overall a good experience, I would go again.
The food and environment were outstanding! Especially if you enjoy Chips & Guacamole and tacos! Service could have been a bit better, but I’ll give the waitress the benefit of the doubt as the spot was packed. Definitely will try the spot again!
Awesome place for big parties! Great atmosphere and great food!
Burnt + cold food. Terrible service. Beautiful view though
My girl and I got together for brunch, she's a new bmore resident and we've made a point to check out the local Hotspots. Our time here was exactly what we wanted. Ouick, efficient service, absolutely STUNNING views and the food was delicious! If you can, sit outside and overlook the harbor! We had a blast and we will be back!
The food is fantastic and service was excellent. The noise level was just a bit much for us for conversation purposes.
I have a food sensitivity to cilantro, which Sydney told the kitchen about but my food came out covered in cilantro and had to be remade.
The rockfish tacos seemed to be breaded which takes away from the rockfish. If grilled it would have been much tastier.
Sydney was great and very attentive.
The restaurant week prices were very reasonable and the food tasted ok. Thanks
We regularly frequent Barcocina for brunch, and it is always a great experience. The food is always delicious, and the service this time was great. Our server made sure that those of us having Bottomless Brunch, never saw the bottom of the drink, which is honestly pretty rare for restaurants that have a Bottomless option. Only downside is it can get pretty loud inside the restaurant, but when it's busy, that's to be expected.
Beautiful view. Outside dining was much quieter than inside. Delicious food.
Love happy hour! Sangria amazing. Also order the buffalo chicken rolls. Would recommend sitting outside if too noisy inside.
Overall food was good although one member of the party received her food way before everyone else. Noise level inside is very high. Outside is better noise-wise. Waiter was attentive and funny. We will go back again, particularly for an outdoor table.
Typically love Barcocina, I always get the el pastor tacos. This past time I went, half of each of my three tacos was filled with inedible fat. Ruined my appetite and I had been anticipating the meal greatly. :/
Food was ok, service was very slow... and there restaurant was not busy at all.
Food was good. Noise was way to loud. Could not hear my lunch date even talk.
Poor food and service, especially given the price of food. Our food came cold and when we asked to send it back (after 10 minutes of waiting) our waiter was not apologetic. Very nice location and beautiful restaurant but not worth it.
On a night when it looked like all the power was out in Fells Point, this restaurant seemed to have the lights on.. They were able to accommodate us without issue despite everybody wanting to go there because no one else had power. The service was excellent, their food was stupendous, and their margaritas were outstanding. In all we had a wonderful evening. We will definitely come back.
The waitress was slow and the food could use more seasoning but it’s still a great place!
