Barcocina - Baltimore

The drinks was excellent but the food was mediocre.
I went to this restaurant with my boyfriend during restaurant week and I was not disappointed. Out of all the restaurants we went to this buy far was the best! Their food quality was perfect and every dish I had was very flavorful. This was my first time here and I will definitely be dining here again.
Table was in a spot that was very dark....near bar and bathrooms.....could barely see menus. Been there several times.....very nice ....but our table was just in a bad spot. We did add 2 more to our party of 8 and they did squeeze us in. Appreciate their flexibility.
Our table server Bob was super kind and caring.
We had brunch at Barcocina for my daughter’s birthday. The food was excellent and our server Bob was great! I highly recommend!
My overall experience was amazing. I would definitely go back. Noise level was reasonable, but there was a crowd watching football who were making a lot of noise. The food was delicious, I did not care for the calamari, as it was the last item that our table received. I'm definitely coming back to try other dishes, on an off football day.
We were seated in the heated, sunny part of the restaurant, so other than being very hot the whole time, our party of 4 enjoyed New Year's Day brunch. They really need to have shades! Our service was excellent, and the bottomless mimosas had plenty of champagne. We chose 3 kinds of tacos, guacamole, and the pancake sliders. All were delicious!
Awesome food and service
I rarely take time to write a full review on places because everyone has their off days especially if it is busy but I just had to after last night. This place used to be our go to spot while visiting Baltimore. However, this time around we had a different experience. As we sat and waited for our food we saw a mouse running back and forth ( we didn’t think much of it because they have an outside area connected and we were understanding of that ). We received our yucca tots before our meal which we ordered as a side ( again no big deal to us ) however, they were still frozen inside. Our waiter was apologetic and they made us a new order that we received shortly after our tacos. Our waiter was amazing and was the only good part of our night at Barcocina. Now, for the tacos, my fiancé ordered the steak tacos which came ice cold and my fish taco was cold to the point where I couldn’t even eat it. At this point we felt so bad for the waiter we didn’t even mention anything. We just couldn’t comprehend how the quality of food was so poor considering we were one of two tables in the entire restaurant on a very slow Sunday night. We sadly will not be going back.
It was cold and had to wear jackets. Loud music at 11 like I was in a bar at night . Service was great - no complaints there but food just ok
From the duck tacos to the Mac and cheese everything was delicious and our waitress was very attentive.
The restaurant was super loud, like shout across the table to be heard loud, plus the music on top of that. The cocktail I had was mostly ice. The tacos were mostly bland, but not awful. Prices are good. The biggest deterrent was just the noise level - really horrible.
The food was delicious! So many great choices to chose from. Everyone was satisfied with their meal. They also offer bottomless for brunch!
Awesome food with a nice view of the water. It was loud and the service was very slow for our party of 12. The food was delicious though!
We had been to Barcocina several times before and had drinks and appetizers and everything was delicious! We decided to take friends this past weekend and noticed the menu has changed significantly, what a disappointment. The apps that we really liked were gone and basically there was just average guacamole and tacos, it was fine but I wouldn't go back.
house margarita was awesome! Korean beef taco was tasty too
The food was amazing as usual and it was a great time to sit with my mother in law and just enjoy the day with her! Service was great and couldn’t have asked for anything better. Thanks!
Beautiful setting, outstanding service and value. OK so why not 5 stars for everything. Well there is only so much you can do with brunch and Barcocina does it well.
The views and food were amazing. The quality of food was great. The drinks were superb. This restaurant sat on the waterfront of such a cute town Fells Point. I will definitely be back. It was so cute inside as well as great to sit outside and look at the water. Loved it!
We had a group, all arriving separately. Our server made sure everyone was taken care of while we waited for others, was very patient with us, and kept all the orders straight. We were seated in a somewhat private corner. And the food was excellent too!
Great tacos, great peach sangria! Love the outdoor seating.
Food wasn’t great! Low on flavor - lacked any kind of hot sauce or spice! Too loud, I wouldn’t see it as energetic.
Main thing- food wasn’t great/ just bland
I would recommend it primarily for it's location and the ability to sit with a water view. The inside was noisy and we had to wait about 45 minutes for our food, longer than I would like. The food was good, but not great. The waitress was pleasant and the prices were reasonable.
Great lunch and wonderful view.
Great place, seated immediately, water provided, time to review menu and then a fabulous meal had by all! Thank you!
Awesome location near harbor. Good place to socialize must visit
We sat outside; the view was really nice! Service was okay, but it was very busy. Food was delicious and mimosas were great!
While the quality of the food, drinks, and environment are one to brag about. The service is not always. Our server was rarely around and when she was she did not often come to our table to check on us. Our table as well as another in her section had to take our bill to the front get someone to help us to pay and leave because of how little our server paid attention to her table.
Good for a large work group, but for everyone else don’t bother unless you get a spot outside. The food isn’t very good so don’t go for the food.
I arrived about 20min before the restaurant opened (I thought they opened an hour earlier than they do) and was still warmly greeted and seated in a beautiful spot. Our orders were taken shortly after we sat and the staff was all very sweet.
Ordered the Korean beef soft tacos. Smelled a little funny but ate one
Just ok wouldn’t recommend
Kimchi that was a side was inedible
Picturesque on the water. Nice breeze but don’t think I would eat here again
Salsa was expensive- but worth it!
Excellent lamb tacos. The yucca tots were minimal but good. Noise level inside was high so we sat outside.
We went for Brunch and the bottomless Mimosas. It was fun and the restaurant was in a scenic part of the Harbor which was worth it. The only thing I wasn’t a huge fan of that you should be aware of, is that the mimosas are served with Ice and then also the Huevos Rancheros was really watery because of the black beans. But overall a good experience, I would go again.
The food and environment were outstanding! Especially if you enjoy Chips & Guacamole and tacos! Service could have been a bit better, but I’ll give the waitress the benefit of the doubt as the spot was packed. Definitely will try the spot again!
Awesome place for big parties! Great atmosphere and great food!
Burnt + cold food. Terrible service. Beautiful view though
My girl and I got together for brunch, she's a new bmore resident and we've made a point to check out the local Hotspots. Our time here was exactly what we wanted. Ouick, efficient service, absolutely STUNNING views and the food was delicious! If you can, sit outside and overlook the harbor! We had a blast and we will be back!
The food is fantastic and service was excellent. The noise level was just a bit much for us for conversation purposes.
