BARCOA Agaveria is a basement bar that celebrates the spirits of Mexico. Serving imaginative craft cocktails and a vast list of agave spirits, BARCOA is often described as "vibey," "sexy," and "the time of my life" (says some dude from Mesa). Agave spirits such as tequila, mezcal, bacanora, raicilla, and sotol, are the stars here, available as flights, neat pours, or however you like.

Reservations are only available for the basement bar. Please reference the Basement Bar Menu. Above BARCOA, check out the Cantina, a casual back-alley mezcal and tequila bar that serves affordable classic cantina cocktails, and the cheery patio, which features Provecho taco truck. Pop out anytime during your visit and bring food down to the basement.

BARCOA can be tricky to find. We're located on the southeast corner of 1st Avenue & Roosevelt, in the historic red brick building. Don't worry, you're not lost. It's just poor directional signage that the City refuses to fix.

Enjoy a 75-minute agave road trip from the comfort of your seats at BARCOA! This introductory tasting is perfect for those new to the category of tequila & mezcal, as well as a fun refresher for experts. This tasting includes a little bit of everything with a minimum of 7 sips of tequila, mezcal, bacanora, raicilla, sotol, and other more rare heritage agave spirits. Led by an in-house agave specialist, tastings include background info on each spirit, touching on production process, cultural history, and geography. Tastings are seated in various areas of the bar, based on availability at the time of booking. This is a perfect date night activity, with light touch hospitality and the chance to explore the world of tequila and mezcal.

Cool new experience. I went at 7:00p so it wasn’t packed or too loud inside. I made a reservation to have drinks downstairs at a table. Drink selections was good. I had a red margarita. Had a nice kick to it. I would go back.

Loved the basement area! They gave a complimentary celebration mezcal shot for my friend - we were celebrating a job promotion. The tacos from upstairs were good. The drinks were crafty and tasty. The only thing that would make it perfect is if the food from outside could be brought to us

We loved Barcoa… the tequila selection and cocktails were exceptional! We sat in the basement which had eclectic artwork and an effortless cool vibe. The tacos, churros, salsas and pico from the food truck were flavorful and delicious! We were surprised the bartender was rude and dismissive, he made our party feel unwelcome. Hope his night got better!
