Fantastic food, view was incredible. We sat outside on waterfront area dinning. Even though it was December and outside, where we sat, we were very warm and toasty. The server was amazing.

We had a lovely evening out on the terrace. It was cold, but they have several overhead heaters and mushroom heaters around the deck. The food was phenomenal, hot and fresh, and the menu had a good variety. It's a beautiful location in Old Alexandria with a perfect view of the National Harbor across the way. Very quiet as well. We loved BARCA and will be back!

It seems it rains every time we go to Barca but we were undeterred this time. Staff was friendly and brought us a heat lamp as we sat waterside and enjoyed our tapas. Everything we ordered was delicious and came out very fast after ordering. After dinner and desert we went inside and had a drink, Ardie the bartender is a treasure and makes fantastic cocktails!

Great view right by the water and the tapas were delicious. Definitely recommend the scallops and the pork tenderloin! A little pricey for some of the tapas but overall still worth the price if you’re going for a special occasion.

My friends, and I had an amazing time. The food was delicious looking, and tasted just as good if not better. Waiter service was timely, friendly, and surprising. Ambience was perfect, even for brunch. Night time offers the romantic lights of the area, but it was just as good. My friends were from out of town, so to take all of it in, was delightfully fun for them. Thank you Barca, for a most pleasant experience.

Location of the place is awesome. The food is terrible. A bit too salty, the bread that accompanies the tapas is too greasy. The attention to detail for orders is not there. We had someone with food allergies that requested no peppers in his food. They brought the dish with peppers and we had to ask twice to get the plate replaced. The beer we order was mildly cold and the beer glasses warm. The portions are small which is expected for tapas but if you are going to charge so much per plate the quality needs to be good, which is not the case. My advise - skip the food. Get only drinks. Great location, very nice hostess and waitress but the rests is not good.

In a time post a global pandemic, it would be prudent to have a hand-washing station onsite, so patrons don’t need to leave the restaurant to the nearest public restroom to maintain good hygiene. Is this too much to ask for?

Barca was the perfect place to relax, have a few tapas and a bottle of wine. Beautiful views across the water to National Harbor. The food was excellent, and the wine selection was great. Our waitress was perfect...there when you needed her, helpful and knowledgable, but otherwise gave us our space. Overall, it was a great experience!

Perfect spot for a birthday dinner! We were seated right on the water and the food was divine. Service was prompt, but our table was a bit small for all tapas to come out within 5 minutes of each other, so I’d recommend requesting they stagger bringing them out if they’re not too busy (wasn’t busy when we dined, but we forgot to ask). Highly recommend!

Beautiful setting on the water. The bay scallops were fresh and in a delicious sauce. The meat and cheese board came with a generous amount of meat, cheeses, nuts and grapes. Love there sliced chorizo.

THIS is where I will take all of our out-of-town visitors. We are foodies, and every flavor here was a delight. Diners should know that these are tapas portions. But the value is good, so that two of us, for an early Friday dinner on the Potomac, spent much less than at a similar quality inside place, and left full. Staff were excellent and appropriate, even while a bit overworked as the crowd thickened. (We did miss out on the desserts, because their espresso machine went off line. So, if that is important, ask as you sit down.)

The hostess greeter was welcoming and friendly. We had a most pleasant waitress who provided excellent service, with prompt delivery of food by various cook and wait staff. The food was exceptional, appealingly presented and the menu included a wide variety of choices. Great evening and looking forward to going back soon.

Perfect evening to dine outside in Barca's lovely setting. Food was fabulous tho we did have to remind about getting our drinks/bottle of wine. Only disappointment (to some in our group) was that beer taps were not working but other options were available. All in all a very memorable evening and looking forward to returning.
