   Food was SO good, absolutely in love with the whipped goat cheese dip, pan con tomate, and the sol y sombra cocktail!! And our server was super sweet, funny, and attentive. Really great summery vibes, and the fire table was awesome. Honestly one of my new favorite places!

   The food was fantastic! Maybe the best pita bread I’ve ever had and the service was top notch. Seated at 1200 on a beautiful Mother’s Day and the speed of service made it feel empty. Really great dining experience!

   Expected so much more… wines were average as was the food. For us, this was a one and done kinda place. Too many other excellent places to go in Old Towne Alexandria.

   Wonderful experience, great food, perfect service. Tapas are very reasonably sized…2 per person for many folks…3 to us would have been very filling.

   Amazing waterfront spot, particularly on a nice day. Delicious tapas/small plates that make it easy to share and try everything. Service was great.

   Reservations to sit at the outside tables on the pier are a must. Ask to sit on the north end where you have a great water view all the way up to the DC skyline. They are well prepared for mildly inclimate weather, with vinyl panels that can be dropped, heaters, fans, etc. Decent-sized bar area (1st come 1 served). !Well-behaved dogs welcome! There's also the indoor wine bar which is lovely, as well as a smaller outdoor patio dining area. Excellent fresh ingredient cocktails (frozen mojitos are really good, flavors change.) Carefully chosen, smaller wine, beer & seltzer selection. Tapas plates are shared, and delicious (tzaziki with warm pita is so good. We also love the croquettes and shrimp). It's never certain how good service will be when going out, but Barca does a terrific job. Every single person you interact with is welcoming and fun. Barca is a very popular, unique place that takes great advantage of it's (literally) on the water pier bar.

   Absolutely delicious! Perfect spot for a gorgeous spring afternoon. Alejandro made us feel like VIPs.

    BARCA was totally AMAZING!! It was a friend's birthday, and it couldn't have been more perfect. The setting is fantastic -- right on the water. One might expect that with such an incredible view the place might settle for less than stellar food. BARCA does NOT. Every one of the tapas we tried was delicious! The butternut squash skordalia was excellent, as were the chicken albondigas. Our waiter, Fernando, was so attentive and helpful. Even a manager, Anne, stopped by to make sure everything was good -- and it was beyond good!
