   We were staying at the Somerset and had the restaurant send dinner up to our villa. The tuna tartare was perfect and the burger was a delicious blend of flavors. The Mediterranean salad was flavorful as well…looking forward to having dinner in the restaurant. Barbets is also a great spot for breakfast!

   Romantic atmosphere but the place was empty even thought open table showed no availability. Wine list terribly inconsistent with menu and behind bar. At the suggestion of bartender, the bottle he selected ($70) tasted "off"...very musty . Also when asked what kind of water we wanted,we selected still. When we got the bill we were charged $10! Our pasta dishes we good and so was the carpacio.

    Such a lovely spot. Tucked in the middle of the Somerset resort. I had Caesar salad and herb encrusted snapper. Both were very good and very filling I had no room for desert but the selections sounded good.

    We had a great dinner with excellent service. We didn’t like however that we had to pay a kind of “property fee” to have dinner - in addition to service fee (overall tip) and government taxes. And additional tip also expected. This property fee was not paid in other restaurants.

    Celebrated our birthday and anniversary. The ambience was great, food excellent and service exceeded expectation. Chef and manager came out to greet us and made sure we were satisfied. The servers were friendly and very attentive. The only thing missing was music bit I guess they did not want to disturb the residences. Overall excellent everything. Definitely dine there. I'll visit again.

    Barbetta on the beach for Christmas dinner was certainly not what was expected. We made a reservation for the RESTAURANT a couple weeks ago. At the last minute (too late to get reservations anywhere else) we were notified that instead of a pleasant dinner, we were treated to a cold buffet (it wasn’t supposed to be cold) on the sand. The buffet line was dark so that it was impossible to see what was being chosen. The best thing on the buffet was the potato salad and the roast beef. Never again!

    Mahi mahi was minuscule (maybe 1-by-3 inches), snapper was so tough a knife was needed to cut it, winged insect was found deep in a serving of rice. When we brought up the latter the waitress said she’d raise to the chef but no manager apologies or comp. Meal was nearly $300 for 3 w two appetisers, no dessert, no alcohol, and one vegetarian entrée (a 3-bean mulligan which, by the way, was excellent).

    Disappointed that the online menu was not accurate. Went to the restaurant and there were no scallops or stuffed salmon on the menu as listed online.

    The food was below average for the island. The servers were very nice, but the overall restaurant was below average for TCI. The oxtails were under seasoned and the snapper was a crusted filet and underwhelming.

    We took an $80 round trip taxi to get there and the restaurant was CLOSED on tuesdays. Very disappointing that you would not know that. Maybe we should be using RESY

    We did the beach BBQ. It was not worth it. Not well cooked buffet food of poor quality, pay extra for drinks, and a DJ blaring music wholly unsuited for either a beach or family environment. I can't speak for their regular dining, but this was a cash grab. Go elsewhere

    There was no experience since we showed up and they informed my party of 8 that they were closed! They were having a BBQ on the beach and did invite us there but none of us are BBQ lovers so we passed and went in search of another restaurant to accommodate 8 people. We ended up walking to Mr. Groupers where we had a miserable experience with food and service. The whole night was a disaster…UGH. This closure information should be advised on the site since it would have been easier to book another place had we known that they were closed for their regular menu. Live and learn!

    Kind staff. Conch fritters were delicious. Snapper was the best we’ve had on the island. Kids loved the fresh pasta with marinara. Most importantly we ordered a bottle of the 2017 Silver Oak that was very reasonably priced. Would recommend!

    We had a reservation for the restaurant, but it turned out to be barbecue on the beach night. It was very overpriced The food was mediocre at best. Noisy of course. Lots of kids, so don't go if you want an adult meal. Music and entertainment were appropriate for the beach.

    Restaurant was half full; more than an hour for meals to arrive. Meat raw and inedible; Cornish hen had two bites of meat and all bones; kids meal was the best option. Systems down and only option was to pay cash. Over $300 for 4.

    Wanted to check out Barbetta’s new chef talent. Did not disappoint. Dined at bar. David was our server. Excellent service. Good communication and attention to detail. Wine list and prices reasonable. Shared plates we ordered included the tuna tartare, seared scallops and braised octopus. All dishes nice presentation and tasty. Octopus very well prepared. Would order again. Shared a plate of pesto linguine with shrimp for our main course. Paired all w bottle of Italian Gavi. Overall good experience and very comparable to other fine dining establishments on Grace Bay. More folks should check it out!
