   Ambiance and food was great. Really enjoyed our YYC Food and drink menu that was offered at the time. Our complaint was the service where our server didn’t take back our menus and did not follow up with drinks. My jacket fell off the chair and the staff just looked at it on the ground before I picked it up and they did not offer a coat check. The only reason why I knew there was a coat check was seeing another customer get his coat from a staff. Overall great lively place and it was nice to be inside and appreciate the decor and food but service for us lacked unfortunately.

   The food is incredible, we had to wait 15 minutes to be seated for our reservation. The food came out so quickly, we ordered a bottle of wine but had been served our food and wine came out 10-15 minutes after the food. We also asked to taste 2 wines before we decided on a bottle and were charged for the tastings without being told there was a charge. Overall I would say this place is awesome for the food but the little details were missed above. We had a great time and I would come back.

   Barbarella did not disappoint. The restaurant itself is gorgeous offering more casual sofas, intimate booths and regular tables. Service staff was attentive but not intrusive. Now for the best part - the food! Take it from an Italian, the food was authentic and delicious. The presentation was gorgeous making it a feast for all the senses. Cocktails were imaginative and too easy to drink! I loved that they had some unusual and unique wine by the glass options. Definitely a must go to restaurant. Please be forewarned that the restaurant is two stories without an elevator so if you have mobility issues, be sure to request a main floor table.

   Barbarella is delish! And the manager there is so great and accommodating when me and my guest ended up needing to move tables. Great good and super fun vibe inside. I nice lively addition to the area.

   Our server Michayla was incredible! Super friendly and very attentive. Food and ambiance were great. House red wine was not very good but the chianti by the glass was awesome. Thanks again - we will be back.

    We like barbarella but a few things went wrong with our meal on Sunday. First, the hostess told us to give coat check tags to the server at the end of our meal, but our server told us to give them to the hostess. When I asked the hostess to get our coats she rolled her eyes and said "okay" very shortly - it was weird. Our server also wasn't attentive during our meal. We had to ask another server to go get them so we could order our meals (we had been sitting for almost an hour without being asked to put our order in). She then offered bread to finish our hazelnut dip with (which we ordered as an appetizer), this didn't get brought out until well after our meal was done. We assumed this was complimentary because of the poor service, nope we were charged $12 for it. Would have been nice to know that was additional. Super weird experience, we've been here two other times and it was great but this recent time was bad. It was a business dinner too, so the poor service definitely impacted our meeting. Won't be back here unfortunately.

    I had such a lovely time at Barbarella! I brought two friends with me for a fancy lunch date; we arrived a little late for our reservation and the staff graciously held our spot, our coats were taken to coat check upon arriving, the waitress was very informative about vegan menu options for my friend and answered all my questions about dessert, the food and drinks were amazing, the house made limoncello was divine, the space was gorgeous and not too loud, and the cheque came with gorgeous little post cards and fish shaped paper clips! We had a phenomenal time I highly recommend Barbarella especially during happy hour!

    Horrible first experience. Booked a reservation and couldn't honour the reservation. Jumped around the restaurant for a table. Don't recommend at all and definitely not coming back.

    Good food. Great atmosphere - lively and fun. Was disappointed the pre-fixe had to be for the table only. Makes it impossible with allergies, etc. That’s the downside of a large, corporate restaurant.

    Went prior to a Flames game and loved it. We were there in time for happy hour and ordered cocktails and pizza at 50% off. Pasta and pizza were both amazing.

    Trina was a great waitress! I asked her to choose my drinks and she did not disappoint me. It was my second time at Barbarella and the food was amazing again. Going back again next month! Any drinks or food you order is amazing!

    Service wasn't great had to get up and walk to get the server, no effort in acknowledging as a guests in your restaurant, wasnt even asked if we wanted food or how was the wine... Thankfully the floor manager was able to relocate us to the bar where service was great.

    The food is amazing. The Barbarella burger may be the best I’ve ever had. Penne was delicious. Service was a little slow but it was happy hour so we’ll try another time as well. Highly recommend

    We visited on St. Patrick’s Day and you didn’t disappoint. The appetizers (Calamari and Ricotta Crostini were fantastic. The two pasta dishes (Penne with Shrimp and Limoone) were both awesome! We had three pizzas with the Clam Pizza the only one that was less desirable. Service was great. Never had to wait for anything. Will definitely be coming back! Thank you for the wonderful afternoon!

    The restaurant is beautiful, great atmosphere and a super cool vibe! The food and drinks are amazing so far everything on the menu we’ve tried has been so good and would highly recommend! Love that it’s super easy to share plates so you can get lots of options! That being said the service was a big downside. We’ve been a few times and service has been an issue every time, we’re often waiting much longer than any other restaurant for orders to be taken, drinks to be served, water jugs to be refilled, bills to come and overall a server to check in. We wonder if perhaps the sections are too big for the servers to manage which is disappointing as everything else about this place is amazing! Wouldn’t recommend going if you’re short on time.

    Great food, good drinks, large selection. Love the décor and design. however the noise level is very high due to their large capacity and always being full. Very hard to get reservations for a decent time and time, recommend booking 4+ weeks in advance.

    Absolutely loved our experience here. We were beyond impressed with our service (shoutout Jamelle!) and the food was to die for. Every staff member was so knowledgeable and spoke about the menu in an authentic way that truly made us want to try every dish. We will 100% be back!

    Food was excellent when we ordered our starters and mains everything arrived at the table basically at the same time which was a bit odd in my mind. Lemon tart was excellent. Our server though did seems bit out of it and not fully present for the evening. Nice venue but very loud.

    Had a great happy hour here, everything was absolutely amazing with the food - only complaint was the broccoli dish had too much citrus, and was a bit over cooked. But this did not detract from the unbelievable flavours of all the other dishes we ordered. Strongly recommend the calamari, the tartar, and the scallop crudo. Also, the tiramisu tart was an incredibly unique take on a more traditional version - highly recommend as well.

    Specifically asked for no chill flakes on any dishes due to dietary restrictions. Food still came with chili flakes. Not professional at all. At the end, still charged me for the dish I couldn't eat.

    Nothing about this place says coast, music is way to loud to even enjoy a conversation. Waiter was border line rude. Pizza was good, social media could maybe add that this is more of a "social place" don't plan on going for a relaxed date night thinking you might hear or see the other person lol.
