   Our first time at Freight Island. Had to queue to get in at 17 10 even with a booking. The complex is huge with lots of different bars and eateries, all are open spaces with not much to divide one from another. Very loud music playing. Probably more a place for a younger crowd. The food itself was ok. Expensive for size of portions. £7-9 for tapas bits and pieces. The Calamari was the smallest portion i have ever been served but tasty enough. Glad to say we have been to Freight Island but won't be return soon.

   Utterly gorgeous in every way. Food was delicious, wine was beautiful and service was flawless.

   Made a booking for 10 over 3 tables Arrived and I didn’t have to explain already set as a 10. Superb , intuitive service Food was on point too

   Fabulous food and service. Something different. Couldn’t choose a favourite dish. It was all amazing. We got one meat and 4 little dishes and that was fine for 2. Nice to be in Freight Island but have traditional restaurant set up. Will definitely be back.

   I thought the food was so overpriced for what we had. The sharing platter was nice but for what we had for £22 was such a disappointment. £28 for sirloin steak that was full of fat and not tender was again a disappointment. We couldn’t hear or understand the staff so overall was a huge disappointment after looking forward to it al week

    Great venue, and amazing food ( anchovies and rib eye were the stand outs but all very nice ) . Marga was the best at Baratuxri. Super helpful and funny - superstar. Prices are on the high side but if you take account of the fact they need to keep all those gas burners going to keep everyone warm its probably a fair compromise.
