On a Saturday night, we had a family group of mixed ages. We were able to obtain a reservation for 6 the same afternoon. The staffing was a little short since most tables were full, but our waitress Olivia did her best. It was a good, casual "bar" atmosphere, and menu had something to please everyone, including kids menu. We will return!
We had a large group of 10 and they could not have been nicer. They gave us a private area that was perfect for our group and had no problem moving tables together to accommodate one more. A very good experience.
First time trying. Service was great and so was the food!
I would definitely recommend as a place to meet friends for drinks, however I would not recommend the food. I had by far the worst meal I’ve had at a restaurant. I’m pretty easy going and never complain but the steak risotto was so terrible I couldn’t eat more than a bite. They did take it off the bill, which was nice but I think next time I’ll skip the food and stick to drinks
Had a crowd of 10 for a birthday gathering. The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. Everything from the seating to the set up to what we ordered and when. They were friendly, professional and welcoming. I highly recommend, especially for large casual gatherings.
There were very few people there the night we went. Our server was very nice and attentive. Unfortunately the food was not great. I ordered the sweet potato gnocchi and it was fried and tasteless. Others in my party were also not satisfied with their meal. Too bad as was a good family spot to grab dinner.
Overall very good! Service was a little slow but we were not rushed. Looking forward to next time.
Food was not great
Appeared empty from the street, which should have been a sign. Lights too bright, no ambiance; water from the ceiling leaking into a bucket at the door to the kitchen. Recently opened, so let's hope they work out the kinks.
Could have used a little AC the night we were there but nice remodel and good food
Hi Kris, Thank you for the feedback. We are glad you like the new restaurant! I want to personally apologize about the AC. One of our two AC units broke down so it is still in the process of being repaired. We hope to have it fully working by tomorrow. Best, Arpit Patel Owner
No A/C. It was pretty hot where we were and none of the windows could open. It became a bit sweaty and sticky in that area. It was the bar area and it did not seem that they were going to open the dining area. The food was okay and the service as well but the ambiance really took away from enjoying the meal.

We loved the Bam Bam Cauliflower-- just enough sweet and spice. The chicken tenders were also a big hit. Great bartender too.
Poor food. Too salty.
Major upgrade from Terry O’Reillys. A great add to the neighborhood.
Friendly service, delicious food, cozy atmosphere. Great place to go after work hours. Chef’s specials are a treat. Highly recommend.
Way Too loud and high top tables and chairs were uncomfortable..... more a noisy bar scene. Food was just ok server was very accommodating 👍
We went to Baramor for brunch and had an excellent experience! The food is creative and gives a fresh twist on some old brunch classics. The drinks are refreshing and a nice change from plain mimosas and the service was fantastic. We will definitely be back!
We really enjoyed a Sunday brunch at Baramor! The grapefruit mimosas were a pleasant surprise. I ordered the biscuit and gravy—and the warm, homemade biscuit was delish. I look forward to going back for the country music on Sundays and trying more cocktails.
I had an amazing experience at Baramor on a first date. I used to go Terry’s before the creation of this restaurant and I am extremely impressed with what has been done here. The atmosphere is totally revamped and has a very nice feel to it. The friendly staff showcased their collection of quality drinks, I went with Artifact - my favorite cider. I ordered nachos for an appetizer (literally the best) and lobster Mac and cheese. A+ food! We stopped by in the other section of the restaurant to view the live band (possibly one or more drinks too) and the singer was fantastic! After visiting we used the Newton Centre MBTA green line and ventured into Boston. Fun and quality location! Thank you Baramor!!
We had our Father’s Day brunch there and unfortunately had a terrible experience. It took over an hour to get our meal. We were there with our 3 young children and while it would ordinarily be torture to wait over an hour with young children and no food, it was particularly disappointing on Father’s Day. We understand that kitchens can get behind but there wasn’t much done to make the wait less torturous. The waitress offered to get the 2 adults a round of drinks but it wasn’t the adults who were having a hard time. Even sending some bread or fruit to the table for the kids would have gone a long way. They also advertised live music for Sunday brunch but then seated most people in the opposite room. We had to request to be in the room with the music and when we left there were no patrons in the room with the singer and a full room across the restaurant. Seemed like weird planning.
Just opened in the last few weeks so I’m hoping the menu is a work in progress because although what we had was good, it is quite basic. Draft beer selection limited.
A bit noisier than I’d prefer but we were also seated on the bar side in a corner seating area that was cramped.
We plan to go back in a few months, ask for a table on the restaurant side and hope the menu has expanded. It’s local so we are crossing our fingers.
As the saying goes; 'the service was bad. On the other hand the food was awful'. clam chowder salty and barely edible. followed by an anchovy salad that literally had no anchovies. hamburger lacked taste and flavor. Too bad because the space could have been successfully used.
Best bar food I have had in years.
