   Outstanding food - I had the scallop risotto - beautiful presentation and delicious! My husband had the mussels and loved it (be sure to order truffle fries as a side with the mussels - thanks to our great waiter Dallas for the recommendation!!). Wonderful food and service - we’ll be back!!

   If you enjoy ambience and aesthetically pleasing, good food with great service, Barzin checks all the boxes. There is just enough on the menu to meet the tastes of everyone.    A perfect evening! Cocktails, freshly-caught chef's special flounder, beautifully-presented charcuterie... sad we filled up before we could enjoy the yummy-looking desserts! Service was spot-on. Loved our porch seats. Can't wait to go back. This is just a wonderful restaurant.

   First and foremost, our waitress and her trainee, were outstanding. Exceptionally competent and informative. We like it when good service continues even after food is delivered. The food was very good and we will return.

   Per a previous request for she crab soup, it was served that evening. It was delicious and as good as one can get in Charleston, SC. The food and service is the best on Amelia Island.

   The scallops and risotto were delicious. However, the chicken piccata was overly done and tough. I would have said something to Patrick but he gave us such good service. I make chicken piccata frequently and was not satisfied with what I received at Barzin. I can’t believe it was deep fried.☹️☹️

    The bathroom door would not lock which they were notified about and didn’t mind not putting a sign up and letting anybody know obviously has been like that for a while. Really needs to be addressed.

    Thank You, Thank You, Thank You…. To Everyone at Bar Zin and Amelia Island Wine for Welcoming me back last night - my first visit after fracturing my ankle and surgery..! Perfect table sitting to accommodate me need to elevate my leg…. You are All Rock Stars…!!! I love and appreciate every one of You…! Now for the wonderful meal and evening…. Family get together. Everyone enjoyed the appetizers and meal selections…. Calamari was the definite favorite..! Chicken Piccata was terrific, the French Country Salads very fresh and bursting with flavor..! My son had the Halibut with awesome mashed potatoes…. He gave it a big thumbs up..! Everything was Delicious…. Recommend All. Dessert…. Bananas Foster Cheesecake..! Wow…. Sooooo tasty and creamy..! Don’t miss this one..! Enjoyed a great Tawny Port to end a great night… Thanks as always to Heather, Ryan, and James for the Outstanding Service…!!!     My wife had the scallops entre, and I had the tuna entre. We both loved our dishes. We were given our choice of outside table height or counter height seating. I have eaten here many times over the years, and have never been disappointed. You can also bring your own wine bottle.

    I love your food but I have to say that the last 2 times I have been in your servers seem to want to rush us thru our meal and out the door....expecially if we are thru with our meal and one of the last few tables of the evening....really don't like that.

    Friday night dinner with friends. The crab appetizer was enjoyed by our friends. The country salad was delicious —- super fresh greens. The restaurant was extremely busy. We were poured a bottle of Juggernaut cabernet when we ordered the Cigar Box Zinfandel. Our friends weren’t pleased that the mistake wasn’t corrected nor attempted to be corrected especially since it wasn’t very good on top of being the wrong wine. The halibut special was enjoyed by two of us. My wife enjoyed the steak special. The chicken picatta was enjoyed by one of our friends. We passed on dessert and after dinner drinks due to the wine mishap.

    We loved everything about this place! My husband and I were here for the weekend for our 1st anniversary and this was such a gem! The food is incredible and service was amazing! From the sweet hostess who quickly accommodated our request move from a table to bar stools, to Tyler, the best bartender/new friend that made us feel right at home it was the perfect way to start our long weekend! We will definitely make this a regular stop on our visits to Amelia!

    Fantastic Friday dinner on the island! Outstanding food from the country French salad to the flounder fish special to the evening’s filet medallions special. All paired witha nice bottle of King Estate pinot noir. Delicious apple tart for dessert. Great service from Shane!     The tapas were delicious at a good value and portion size. We felt pushed the entire dinner as we had an 8:00 reservation which was the earliest available. After enjoying our wine and tapas, we ordered dessert and coffee. The coffee had been poured out at 9:30. The customers that enjoy your restaurant with wine, tapas, dessert and coffee will spend over an hour in your bar. Perhaps you should consider taking no reservations at 8:00 when your objection is to close the kitchen at 9:30.

    It was a lovely evening and we were lucky to have a table for 4 on the porch. The service was fast and very pleasant. My husband and I split the calamari and brussel sprouts( both good) and had a salad. Perfect. Next time will get a plate. I like the fact that they are not large and are priced reasonably. I don’t like paying for a big portion and not eating it all and having to take home leftovers.
