I have been going to this place since I moved to the area. Have had many a twisted rabbit there. Last night my friend and I went in to have a few twisted rabbits and some food. We The service, the attitude, and the dismissiveness beginning with the waitress, to the bartender and ending with the General Manager was unprecedented in all my years living and going to restaurants in Manhattan. It started with a missing fork, that took 10 minutes to get "because there were no clean forks and they were being washed". The General Manager actually told us we should have taken it from the next table! We then ordered our 2nd round of Twisted Rabbits, and they were a bit sweet. When we told the waitress, she told the bartender, who basically told me that I drank half the drink. We got up to leave and got the check, never having received our 4th drink, but they certainly charged us for 4 drinks. The General Manager did not even attempt to apologize for his staff's rude behavior, offer to take it off the bill or even possibly offer us a free drink. Needless to say, this place is off my Favs List and I will definitely not be telling anyone to go here any longer. Just a few more blocks down is the most amazing place, Nomad (Mediterranean) where the atmosphere, the food and the people are much friendlier!!!! (on 2nd ave between 4th & 5th). The owner is always there and tell him Lisa and Jane sent you!

Food was ok. You can get much better Mediterranean food in the East Village.

Food was delicious. Service was great. A dish was too spicy for my friend and they replaced it quickly without a problem.

Bar Virage was great. I met a friend there before she saw a show at KGB on 4th street. We shared a few small plates (totally reasonable) and had rosé. (Conveniently, it was happy hour so wine was $6 a glass!) Server was very nice. Gave us time and made good suggestions. Highly recommend.

I truly recommend Bar Virage for Sunday brunch, because they have a good of $10 bottomless mimosas. The ambient is cozy and friendly. You should check it out!

Slow service with few tables. There were more service individuals than customers. Would not recommend this restaurant.
