Took out of town family for dinner. We loved it! Everything we had was delicious & perfectly cooked. Would definitely recommend!!

We ended up sitting at the bar and thoroughly enjoyed our meal and our experience.

Awesome venue

Perfect for a date night! We came to Bar Vasquez on a Saturday evening, and were seated up stairs overlooking the beautiful lower level, which had a lovely band playing music, beautiful lights and greenery, as well as some lounge areas with couches. The service was excellent and the food really amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant situated in what appears to be an old warehouse building of sorts, transformed into a really nice restaurant.

Great food, great service. If you sit downstairs the music can be a little loud at times, but its not disruptive at all. Great dining experience. This was my third visit in 6 months and I will be back.

Bar Vasquez is my favorite restaurant. I always feel so welcome there, and the food is outstanding. And such an elegant space!

We are fairly new to Baltimore, and this place blew us away. Gorgeous space, impeccable service and fabulous menu. This will be a favorite special occasion spot for us for sure.

Great food and ambiance. Server was not up to the usual Foreman Wolfe standard but still better than other places.

The ambiance was exceptional. The service was great, but I wasn't too happy with my food.

Always the best go-to place in Baltimore for taking guests, celebrating or just having a wonderful dinner.

I did not know what to expect as this was my first time,
Arrived promptly at 06.30 pm as per reservation , and the table was not read therefore we had to wait a bit at the bar, while we are at the bar the 2 bartender seem more interested to talk to each other than ask if we wanted a drink, finally after 8 long minutes one of the bartender came and ask, we got 2 beers and a sprite, as we got the drinks the table is finally ready, no body ask us if we want to check inn our coats , so we end up to take them with us and pile them up on a chair. The waiter introduce himself and off course we had couple of questions in regards to the appetizers but he did not have the answer other than all is great, we order some appetizers, overall the appetizers where great and we di enjoy them.as we are eating the appetizers our glass of water where not filled and the San Pellegrino bottle is chilling across the Table far far away from us no body is coming to refill therefore we are serving yourself. Finally we order the main courses and we decide to go with the T bone , and the Asado , literally the 2 most expensive items in the menu, after we put our orders I noticed that the other tables are been served brad and butter, so I ask for it, and when finally arrives we still not have the silverware so in function to spread the butter we actually dipping the bread in the butter, finally the main Couse arrive and is delicious , meet cooked to perfection , good piece of meat, we really enjoyed.
To end the nigh we are having espresso coffee and grappa. Well !!!, The espresso was served without a spoon and or sugar, grappa was great (But they did n do it!!So how hard it can be we did got the glass along.

Wow, we were so pleased!!! We had a terrific time and everything was great. We went modest on the bottle of wine ($40) and it was delicious. We had tuna tartare and cheese empanada appetizers and they were absolutely delicious, especially the tuna. I had one of the bigger steaks with a ton of other things on the side (sausage, other meats, etc) and it was delicious. I was a little surprised because although the steak was great, it wasn’t the best thing on the plate. The other food items were even better, but it was still top notch. My wife had a Wagyu steak that was also delicious. We are looking forward to coming back, probably ordering much of the same except I think I’m going to try the chicken rather than the steak next time. Oh, and the atmosphere is a great vibe and the service was also top notch. The whole staff was great.

This restaurant is a Baltimore hidden gem. The food is simple but the chef and staff raise the tastes to whole new level of culinary perfection.

As always the space in one of the most beautiful in Baltimore. It was restaurant week so we knew we were not going to get best effort food-wise but the baccalau crispy cake tasted only of potato and the salmon was greasy. Also it would be SO nice to see more vegan and vegetarian choices on fine dining menus in the city! Our vegan is tired of the same old pasta roasted vegetables and never any dessert options! This isn’t a fad anymore and plant based diets are good for the planet as well as the person. Look at Vedge in Philadelphia! Elegant food in an elegant atmosphere and all vegan! It can be done!

The ambience here is great! Live music, outstanding service, good food. It’s more on the expensive side but definitely worth it.

The ambiance of the place is great, but the food is extremely mediocre.
We went there for restaurant week and were not impressed by anything we ate. Three people ordered steak but none of us received the steak as per our order. One of the steaks was so rare that there was some blood oozing, but about a quarter of the same steak was cooked to medium-rare.
Would perhaps go for drinks but not for food.

For the cost I did not see it being worth it unfortunately.

We celebrated NYE at Bar Vasquez. When we arrived the manager was working at the hostess stand and let us know that they were running behind and it would be a while past our reservation before we could be sat. We waited over an hour for a table, but we enjoyed a few drinks at the bar. Once sat, the service was terrific, and the food was delicious. We all had different choices, and no one was disappointed. I was nervous that the food would not be good on a big holiday with a prix fixe menu, but I was completely wrong. I didn't get her name, but the manager who was working that night did a fantastic job of handling frustrated guests. I will definitely return.

I recommend Bar Vazquez for the uniqueness and quality of its menu. Everything we had on the price fix menu was excellent. However, I would not return on New Year's Eve. I was disappointed that my party of four was seated in an overflow room on the second floor. I had booked the reservation a month in advance and responded by phone several times to confirm the reservation. I asked for seating on the second floor and assumed it would-be along the railing so we could enjoy the entertainment and general ambience of the evening. When we were seated, we asked if we could sit in the main area but were told no changes could be made at that point. Very disappointing.

The food and service were exceptional - it’s a beautiful space, and the music very much added to the experience. I recommend getting tapas - it lets you try a lot of things on the menu and is fun to share on a date.

Great wine and duck at Bar Vasquez; recommend vegetable sides. Good to average steak. Romantic/special atmosphere.

Still a great space. I like the menu for the most part. Ordered crispy calamari. It was Luke warm and not crispy. Waitress just giggles when I commented. Hmmm. Empanadas very tasty. Mince wine. She was a bit ignorant in my wine questions but was happy to get advise. She was a sweetheart. Shocked at the small crowd at the holidays on a Thursday night. Guess that is the new BALTIMORE.

Everything about my experience was excellent!!!!! I will be back and if you haven’t been you should go. Perfect birthday for my lady
