Brunch AKA Sunday Service, is DJ'ed brunch party. The DJ begins at 12pm. Drinks and food are served from 11 until 4pm. You are encouraged to dance the day away.
We require credit cards in order to hold tables. Inconsiderate actions could result in a $40 per person empty-seat fee/no show fee.
Allergy: We use a variety of nuts and seeds in our dishes. Guests with severe nut & sesame seed allergies be advised that we cannot guarantee against cross-contamination.

We would have preferred to have lingered longer over our meal. All courses were served very quickly and we were in out our within one hour and fifteen minutes . Having said that every dish was delicious and the server was lovely just the whole experienced was too rushed.

Hi actully tQhe worker are awfull we arrived resturant 10:30 and before i arrived i call and ask ww can stay there for drink she said yes and after 12 am she came and take all glass and bring for mr my check she was really impolite and made us surprise
Honestly the only thing I did not like was the draconian approach to reservations. Using your credit card, and a $40 cost per person for adjustments within 24 hours? Seriously? Who is the customer?

Great clean middle-eastern dished with a modern twist. flavors are out of this work. I highly recommend the steak Tartar; the best!

Conveniently located perfect for small group. Menu items are very tasty but portions may be small for groups. Service was very good and servers very attentive.
We got there knowing that there was an opening at the bar on the open table app so we asked for a bar seat and the host said “everything is booked” and it will be an hour and a half wait..but we looked around and saw so many open seats. We then stepped outside and booked two seats at the bar on OpenTable app and then showed him. He then told us that he’s booked up again but thought about how this looks and then told us that he will “squeeze us in”. It was so weird.
Anyways- the food was great- we loved the chicken tagine, the friend brussels and the ottoman salad. The mushrooms were a bit salty and just okay in comparison. Overall great experience minus the host treating us sort of strange.

My sister was visiting from Portland, OR and we wanted to give her an excellent Toronto restaurant experience. This was it! The food was excellent, as always. My partner and I are vegan, and they had plenty of vegan options. Every member of the staff is so welcoming and friendly. The ambience is warm, and the lighting is perfect. What made took it over the top was the music they were playing. It was what you would hear from the best international DJs. The entire evening at Bar Sybanne was perfection!

Always an amazing time at Bar Sybanne. The best steak tartar, delish brussel leaves, and such tasty eggplant dip. Service is always friendly and efficient. Atmosphere is cozy/lively. The chef has clearly put his soul into the menu, and it was really nice to meet him at the end of our meal. Would stop by here over any of the other options next door.

Superlative service ambiance and delicacies .. the mushrooms are luscious and paired beautifully with the Israeli herb salad ... our party of three sampled 7 dishes and all were amazing ...Howard the chef/owner was charming and delightful as was Sam at the bar ... highly recommend the Bar Sybanne experience
Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Bar Sybanne. Our server that evening was extremely attentive and aware of when our dishes were coming out and ensured that everything was to our liking. Great options for vegetarians and meatlovers alike!

Wonderful ambiance and great, inventive food. Definitely not a typical middle-eastern restaurant; more “middle-east inspired”.
My favorite combination is the saffron rice + chicken tagine. Also great are the fried brussel leaves. And we kept ordering more of the Turkish flatbread, even after the hummus and eggplant dips were long gone... (BTW, the roasted eggplant is sweet and delicious — NOT baba ganoush, but its own great recipe.)

First time at the restaurant, decided to let the waiter make all the selections.
He made very tasty choices however we had way too much food. We probably should have let the waiter know we did not want to totally stuff ourselves, we left 3 dishes unfinished. We needed to walk around the block to help our digestion.
Highlights - everything was delicious, though the tartar stood out. The Brussels Sprouts were also fantastic.

Having just visited Morocco we 4 were anxious for a follow up Moroccan meal. The lead in hummus/tahini was quite tasteless. The food was served as it was ready, so a dish of brocollini sat alone on the table for a few minutes until it was joined by another dish, then everything else came out. The basmati rice tasted quite awful, as if it had been boiled with plastic. That said, the fried Brussel leaves with figs and almonds were delightful! When we asked for another serving spoon (we had 8 dishes on the table) the response was "what, 4 spoons aren't enough?". If this is typical Ossington, we won't bother returning to the area, there are enough new great restaurants east of Yonge!!
Had a small birthday dinner here recently. Excellent service, delicious food. The staff was so warm and accommodating, can't thank them enough for ensuring we had a great night. Definitely recommend!

It was excellent. I highly recommend it. I was hesitant after seeing some of the reviews but would believe the five out of fives. Jamie, our server, was tremendous. I highly recommend this place and will go back.
Excellent service (including sommelier who is excellent), delicious Mediterranean sharing plates, really good cocktails. Can be noisy but second time there and will go back. Just good food and service. They make you feel welcome and don’t take their customers for granted. I really appreciated being remembered even though we had only been there once before. Have the fried Brussel sprout leaves.
