This was our first time visiting Bar Sofia and I am so glad we came! We had noted that it was our anniversary in the selection on Open Table and we were met with glass of Cava on the house! Our server was exceptional and made our evening even more special. We also loved the music. We will be back!

2nd time here in a month! Great service. Excellent Happy Hour Lunazul Tequila Spicy Margaritas. Tacos were yum! Will be back :)

A unique dining experience. Appy’s and mains similarly sized. Cocktails were delicious. 3ladies out celebrating a birthday, we enjoyed the decor and lively atmosphere. Our appy’s were mixed up, a return & substitute was offered. I would recommend & dine there again. Not sure a hungry man would feel full.

This has been my favorite restaurant in Halifax for a long time. But when we arrived, they wanted to seat us at a high top table, despite the fact that I had chosen 8:15 specifically to avoid that. They did seat us at a regular table after a few minutes. The food was excellent as always, and our waitress was wonderful even though they were shortstaffed- welcome to July in Halifax. But…the NOISE. The music was SO LOUD. We wanted to have a relaxed conversation, and we had to shout at each other and constantly lean over to hear. It would have been a great experience if they hadn’t tried to destroy our eardrums. I can understand doing this at 11pm, but not at 8. Otherwise it was a good experience.
