Celebrate the view @SixtyFiveNYC
Gorgeous venue, attentive happy staff. Was a beautiful experience thank you
2nd time at this venue and have to say my first experience was much better. There was a private event which prevented us from going around the venue. Also, the dress code was not enforced. A very casual, men in shorts, t-shirts, women in shorts and others with very low end casual attire. I felt very overdressed. Really was sorry to see this as I had brought my niece there for a birthday dinner which we had dressed up for the occasion.
Very nice experience. Great location and view. Great friendly service.
Our server Yonni was the best! So friendly and professional
Wait staff was impeccable and views are tremendous. I had gone to celebrate a 30th birthday and had a couple prior requests that were met with flying colors. Above and beyond.
Dress code states smart casual, but we ended up being surrounded by tourists in T-shirt’s and shorts. Bar area was crowded and loud full of people taking pictures with the flash on. Ambiance was underwhelming but the view was fantastic.
Completely overrated. The view is great if you can get a seat outside, but first you have to shove past the 5838727 people standing on the walkway from the restaurant to the outdoor seating area. You have to go back through the crowd to get to the washrooms. Also for an $85/person minimum, I would have expected to be sat by the edge/window for the view, and not next to the wall. Slow service, disorganized check in process. We travel and dine out frequently and found the food to be just ok.
Fantastic view of the city and sunset.
Comida abundante y exquisita.
We celebrating our 1 year anniversary. It was amazing!
Not like it used to be. The magic is gone. Went for my anniversary, preplanned, and that sat us is a corner with no view, then disappeared with no service. We left after 15 minutes. I’d pay the prices if it were worth it, but no...
It was raining so we ended up juat staying inside. Some of the tables have very low lighting so it was very difficult to see our food. But overall loved the ambiance and most of the food we ordered!
Staff did an excellent job making us feel special on our anniversary. We got a great table and all of the staff wished us a happy anniversary when they looked up our reservation. View was stunning. Drinks were priced a little high but the food was actually quite reasonable and delicious.
Waiter walked by us numerous times before deigning to take our order. No cocktail napkins, I had to ask for one. We were told “they were out” then two magically appeared. Very disappointed in our evening.
We were in New York on a girls trip, we were referred to this place by a client of mine, hostess and people at the front of the restaurant were great, very friendly. Our waitress wasn’t too friendly, took drink order, took menus from table and didn’t asked if we wanted to order food, waitress took order wrong. View is incredible!!! If it wasn’t for the bad waitress everything would off been fine.
I came for Happy Hour with my colleague. The plan was just enjoy the lovely NYC view and have a cocktail or two. I am completely IN LOVE with Bar SixtyFive at Rainbow Room! Food selection is fantastic, with plenty of gluten free options (had the best gluten free bund with the sliders ... yummy). Wines have been carefully selected from NYS wineries <3 (Finally someone thought of our lovely local wineries).
Food was fabulous and service friendly. Views wonderful. It made my daughter's 21st celebration all the more special.
Las vistas, comida y bebida y ambiente son espectaculares. Por poner una pega, no se podia acceder a la zona norte de la terraza, una lastima.
Amazing views and setting for a perfect ending to our holoday
Such a great experience! From the elevators upon arrival to paying the final bill, it was a great time!
The cocktail are correct but the Food si awfull. Nice view.
Definitely worth doing! The views are out of this world. Try and go when you can see the sunset and the lights come on - it’s spectacular. We both really enjoyed our mains and the dessert (chocofeller alaska) was amazing!! Drinks were delicious but expensive. My only complaint was the noise level. It was extremely loud - the music was trying to be louder than the people so everyone was talking over the music. A very minor complaint and I would still go back!
A wonderful view over New York sipping down a lovely cocktail. What else can you dream of after a long day walk through the big Apple ?
Our waiter was very rude and insulting. As we arrived, he asked us to order drinks in every five minutes. He didn’t let us to decide and order properly.
Place was incredible during the sunset. Exceptional view from outside and also from inside. Atmosphere was really good and food was good. Strong recommendation for anyone who is looking for a place to have a dinner with an amazing view.
It was my wife birthday they host it on the lower floor she spoiler announcing her birthday because it was a surprise anyway we went up we wait we sit down and they forgot about us we wait at least 30 minutes then they brought the drinks no water no silverware on the table The waiter come back to our order to take out order they brought in the food was OK but she forgot about us we asked for the check twice had to get up and asked for it again not a good experience in the dining room area
We recommend Bar SixtyFive only for the view. We did not have good service and the drinks are expensive.
We order food and never got it, because our waitress never put the order in.
It was my birthday celebration. We were made to feel very welcome. Service was super efficient and drinks were lovely. The ambience was wonderful. The view was magical !
Traumhafter Ausblick, gutes Essen zu angemessenen Preisen, Empfehlenswert für jeden der New York genießen will .
Bar SixtyFive was a huge disappointment for us. We were asked if we would like a table outside which we thought would be preferable given the view, but we were squeezed through a gathering of tourists taking pictures and seated at a table right beside them. We had great service and nice cocktails outside so tried to make the best of it, but couldn't tolerate it for long and asked for a table inside. Back we went through the crowd with drinks and menus in hand. It would have been nice for the gentleman who moved us to carry our menus, but when I asked him if we should bring them he just said, "Yes." Service inside was friendly but slow and one of our appetizers was brought out with the mains. The cavatelli, although cooked a perfect al dente, was nothing special and had an excessive lemon flavour. The dover sole was a tiny portion and my husband asked for extra spinach and no potatoes. Our server said the potatoes were amazing and she would bring them on the side. The potatoes were on his plate (not amazing, but basic) with a tablespoon size of spinach. The cauliflower was good. Kudos to the server's attention to allergies. She made sure to know what the allergic member of our party might be sharing, in addition to their own order, which we appreciated very much. We ended up going to the Plaza for cheese and dessert as my husband was still hungry and we were not enjoying our experience. This place is all about the view. The bar itself is nothing special and there were many people dressed like they were going to a ball game, so not the elegant experience we were hoping for.
Thoroughly recommend this gem in the sky.
From the ear popping lift ride, the friendly service, the drinks selection, and finally jaw dropping views. You must visit 🌟
I would recommend this place for a drink, and perhaps a cheese tray, but definitely nothing more. We had caviar, they plop the can on the table for you to open yourself, not a big deal, but the only thing they could think of to serve with it was potatoe chips. Really? Potatoe chips? We also had the seafood platter, not good at all. The only thing we ate was the tuna tartar which was very good, although no toast points or anything else to put it on, and the shrimp was good. Everything else, lobster, oysters, clams, stone crab, we did not eat. None of it tasted good at all. So go for the beautiful view and eat before you go.
A perfect venue for a special occasion and this one was our daughter's 21st birthday. The food is exquisite and well-priced (make sure you get the charcuterie board), the drinks are overpriced. We were treated to a great light show...a thunderstorm that came from New Jersey, crossed Manhattan and headed out to the Island. The vibe is still great, Rockefeller Center is loaded with nostalgia AND contemporary touches. Ain't cheap, but it sure is worth it.
Amazing dinner in the best location. The views are breathtaking. We had an outside table and were treated like VIP,s. Cannot recommend enough.
Expérience unique. Si possible faire a la nuit..
Great views. Food was fantastic.
Server was very attentive and helped with a selection - I was NOT disappointed! He made my experience very memorable.
I would recommend this place strictly for the views. The value is understandable considering the location, however the service is terrible, even for a bar. We had to physically flag down our waitress all 3 times we saw her at our table, the food took a very long time to come out even though it was probably only 35-40% full, and she was very short and rude with us.
Always a fantastic experience. Bar SixtyFive's Manager Gina makes what could very easily be a very impersonal experience, one that is always unique and memorable, no matter how many times you go. A must whenever in the city - highly recommended.
Changed their dress code to ultra casual, there were men in gym shorts, Birkenstock’s and flat bills. Strange mix of pricey drinks and open toed shoes.
