We were on a short trip to NYC and I wanted to enjoy cocktails with a view. This was the perfect spot. Great service and atmosphere with amazing views.
Beautiful view, lovely food and staff made our wedding anniversary very special.
This bar is beautiful and the views are spectacular. The drinks are pretty pricey but no more so than most other bars in nyc!
The food was nice enough but I felt there was limited choice.
Expensive and noisy. Go for the vibe, the view, and vino. Fun cocktails but the service was slow. They sat us at a table for two for four of us. They turned the small table so two of us sat on a bench seat and ate at an angle. Fun night for out-of-towners.
Excellent food with a spectacular view and great service!
A lovely occasion for us on our 46th wedding anniversary. Recommended by our daughter who came last year for her 40th birthdsy
Did a great job in accommodating a special birthday celebration, with a lovely view. Delicious main meals and exciting desserts. Nice drinks too.
the best rooftop in the city, especially for the sunset view. Even though the menu is overprice, the atmosphere, the view and the service will let you feel that it worth it.
It was too cold. We had dinner wearing our jackets, people around us too. The lighting looks very romantic but you can't barely read the menu. The food was good though.
Great view, good food but don't expect intimacy. Crowded and loud.
Fantastic views, server was great
Great views, food and service!!
We enjoyed our experience even though it rained and we could not go outside. Food was good. It was expensive but this was a special occasion. View is outstanding.
Wonderful views and nice cocktails - but high noise level and waitress never got round to us in the hlf hour before kitchen closing ....
Excellent dinner. We were visiting from the UK and had a fantastic time. The views were second to none. The food was tasty and the portions generous and well priced. The staff were lovely and friendly and the service faultless.
Although the view was outstanding and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful I was disappointed by the food.
Drinks were very good .
fantastic atmosphere, very friendly and efficient attentive staff. couldn't recommend Bar65 highly enough. Not too expensive despite the location. lived up to all our expectations
Bar Sixty Five at Rainbow room was recommended to us by a friend of a friend as a nice place to go for a drink and also get a great view of New York at night. We were visiting NY from England to celebrate our Ruby Wedding anniversary. The bar area itself was very nice and the views spectacular. I appreciated the fact that we were able to go outside and take photos before leaving. However we found the bar very noisy, the lighting was so low it was difficult to read the menu and service was slow. 3times our waitress walked past our table saying “I’ll be with you in a minute”. She was very pleasant but we’d had better service elsewhere in the city. We had a shared platter and that was nice, but at $28, along with paying $17 for a glass of wine, we feel the whole place is overpriced for what the package is. We did appreciate the chocolates given to us after our meal as an anniversary present but overall the whole experience was a bit of an anticlimax.
We had a wonderful time. View is spectacular. Food very good. Highly recommend making a reservation early enough in the evening to watch the sun go down.
View is unparalleled. Food is delicious and more moderately priced than you might expect. Server had a rough night with us but was very friendly.
Service was poor. Waited almost 1 hour just to get a burger. We had to ask for water. We asked for ketchup three times, and we got it when our plate was empty. The food is okay, the views are great, so it's unfortunate.
Went here for coctails and the view. Recommend this to get great photos of NYC.
I loved the view from the observation deck. The drinks were strong and very good. Sadly, the service was terrible! We enjoyed a few cocktails and decided we would have a piece of famous New York cheese cake and a coffee for our first night in the city. We got the coffee but the cheese cake never came! I would still recommend a visit even though my food experience wasn’t positive and the drinks were tragically overpriced the view was worth the visit!
It was zoo and no professional people who work at this place except bartenders. They are very professional. We had to wait until we have table even we had a reservation and need to wait another 40 m. to get outside and gave it up and left within 20 m. I never come back and i can go another place in NYC which I live.
Incredible place, the view is amazing and the service is outstanding.
Watch the sunset here, you will never forget
Drinks are good
The view is everything!
Amazing views. Exceptional service and food was outstanding xx
Our waitress Jean Marie was amazing it was an incredible evening
I loved this place because of the view. The service was really bad, the waiter didn't even said his name, not very warm or even welcoming, also the hostess was really cranky and arrogant. We had some wine and a burger which was awesome to be honest. But the service was not outstanding and it's such a shame because the place and the view deserves a better service. By the way, I specifically wrote on my reservation that it was a birthday dinner and NOTHING happened... thanks about that...
Started at the welcome desk before the elevator, great staff
Nice place with special attention for our anniversary
Great cocktails and amaizing value worth salmon tower/plateau.
Perfecta la atención y la comida excelente joseph el q nos atención excelente persona lo
Disfrutamos mucho !!
A “destination” that needs to be experienced at least once .
New York lights sparkle.
The menu, both drinks and menu are expensive, but not more than other NY spots with less ambience, and certainly not the views.
Prompt and courteous service. It is worth the minimum charge to sit outside. the views can't be beat.
Amazing view, amazing service. Would definitely recommend. The staff were so accommoding.
Terrible service food sub par for the price. Go only for the view. Won't be back.
We came here because the reviews say it's one of the best views of the city. And it is. Unfortunately it rained and we were able to sit outside. Butz still great view.
The service was bad. Didnt really check on us for second round, how our food was. We went thru half of our meal no napkins.
I for 20 dollar drinks and 15 dollar fries, I expect the mentioned above as the bare minimum.
This place is amazing, staff couldn’t do enough for you, loved it🤗
One of the best experiences I had in my life. You guys made everything be so special. Thank you so much.
Service was okay the reason only okay was. I waited 25 minutes and had to ask for desert menu. I also asked for another drink sat and sat or 35 minutes no drink came so I asked for the bill I told the waiter/waitress they were very apologetic.
We ate here for my birthday. The staff were great, the food was special and the view of NYC at night magical.
