Overrated. Skyline view great but food is just average
The experience was nice. It seems as though people were way too packed in for maximum general addmision. I had reservations that were much delayed for my taste with bar 65 only giving you 15mins. Overall, a nice experience.
Great place to eat late night! Wonderful view.
Vastly over rated. Dark, noisy, expensive. The great thing it has going for it is the view but that is it. Will not visit again.
Spectacular view, food and service!
Fantastic just fantastic
I took my daughter 24 years old to see the famous tree and then fined in the rainbow rooms
Awesome! Once in a lifetime experience
We will never forget
Thank you to all the lovely people who looked after us
God bless you all
I booked in for my partner's 30th. The server was lovely and the food delicious but, my 2nd cocktail ordered never arrived and it was very loud so, we couldn't really enjoy a conversation. Unfortunately, the terrace was closed so we weren't able to take a nice picture at the top of the occasion either.
Worth the very noisy experience for the view and the delicious cocktails!
Always a great visit at Christmas with friends
Enjoyed it but drinks are over priced as usual
Thought food was very poor but would visit again , but for drinks only
Had a fab meal for my 18th birthday. Stunning views and great atmosphere. What an experience. Thankyou.
Was squashed onto a table that was for 2 ppl but 4 of us had to sit there, had to eat food sitting on an angle, not enough room on table. Service extremely slow, waited over an hour for food. Barman very nice, good drinks. Waitress nice enough but she had to many tables to serve. Very loud and busy. They fit to many ppl in.
Couple next to us walked out, they had been waiting so long.
Food was lovely tho.
The waitress who served us was I am sorry to say rather snobby. The service itself was only okay as was the food. However some of the staff have an attitude? it is very dark and noisy and this means a poorer experience.
Why have such a view if it is not acceptable to take a photo of it (balcony was closed)
So much fun! I enjoyed trying the different drinks from the 5 boroughs. Our server was spot on. The pumpkin and whiskey fondue was delicious and a generous portion. And the view was amazing. Also, the restroom was clean and well stocked.
Nice view. Noisy due to many people but still fun.
WoW what a fantastic time I would like to thank the staff for all they did to make it a special night to celebrate my wife’s birthday, first class service
Food atmosphere but was foggy so unable to enjoy the view
Great food, the portions were much larger than I expected. Good value for money. Great service from Karl our waiter.
Our original booking got cancelled and moved to the next night. When we arrived, our party was not allowed in, on account of my 13 month old being with us. When I made the reservation, I made it 100% clear we will have a child with us- hence why the booking was as early as possible
Perfect cocktails, unrivalled view and great service
Excellent experience but very noisy
I was so excited to bring my family from Minneapolis, MN. They love it & had a fabulous time. I will definitely be back in December with another family member that will be visiting. Thank you.
Terrace was closed as too cold and the food overpriced.
Service was great. Cocktails weren’t anything special @$20 each. Food portions were small but tasty! ($9 chowder was a total of four tablespoons.) View was amazing! We had a lovely unobstructed view of the Empire State Building.
The ambiance was very nice, especially during the holidays. We did not have a view because it was raining and foggy outside but I’m sure it would have been amazing. Service was slow and getting our waitress to bring the bill took forever, which almost made us late for our show. AND, one of my pet peeves, she pointed out the gratuity section. Ugh.
A great night. My only issue is if you have a dress code you should stick with it. A male diner was wearing old shorts, old crew T-shirt and old trainers!
Enjoyed the ambiance but our visit was spoiled by heavy cloud obscuring any view!
We had an 8:15 booking but had to wait for our table. Once seated we chose our food and drinks. The waitress then came back and told us if we needed more food than what we ordered we had to do it straight away as the kitchen was closing. We were also told that we should order dessert as the kitchen was closing! All very rushed and the staff were cleaning up around us while we were still eating! Couldn’t wait for us to leave and overall very disappointing. We should have been advised that the latest table booking should perhaps be 7:30 however we were allowed to book a later table. Won’t be rushing back.
Amazing place it defo has the WOW factor x
The most breath taking views at night which you could view and take pictures of whilst waiting for food to arrive. Was a shame that we were not notified that balcony had a closing time, so only had a brief moment To take pictures.
Food was honestly amazing, although overall generous with salt (which is not to my personal liking) flavour combinations of pretzel with pumpkin fondue and lobster bratwurst were fantastic.
Was however very disappointed to find the actual restaurant closed and we were simply seated in a cordoned off area of the bar with noisy people standing over your shoulder watching you eat. I’m spending a fair amount of money on food so expect a relaxing and quiet atmosphere to also follow suit which it certainly did not.
None the less waiter was very polite and made sure we were as happy as possible. When you weigh up price of food with the views, it is very fairly priced. Would recommend but would ensure you go on a day the restaurant is open to avoid sitting in bar!
Awesome service and amazing views.
Great place! Friendly staff! Food was shareable, and great. Wines were very reasonably price . Will go back!
You pay for the view, but that's expected, and the view is spectacular. Cocktails were good and staff were very attentive.
Pleasant and delicious food
Great service,food was delicious.
Honeymoon meal with a view. Our waitress was incredibly kind and talkative, and the south facing view was amazing. Cocktails were decent and most of the food was spot on. Would recommend again and again.
Great hosting staff, super kind! Food was good, views were amazing!
The dress code should be clearer when booking as many in attendance seemed confused about casual vs. smart-casual, and this effects the overall ambience of a beautiful location!
Had a great time with our family, visiting from Cincinnati. Service was fast, food was good, drinks were great. Of course, great views. Perfect time! Will come back every time we had the chance.
Great service, view and outstanding good food. I highly recommend this place,
