Celebrate the view @SixtyFiveNYC
Drinks were good but skip the dessert. Did not have other food so I can't speak for that.
Endroit magique à ne pas manquer
Amazing view, outstanding service and delicous food and Drinks! We will definitly come again.
Group of four celebrating a 40th birthday. It was the perfect experience for us! The views were completely breathtaking, the service was seamless, efficient and not at all intrusive, food was exquisite. An absolute must whilst in New York!!
The view is simply amazing and the service impeccable. We had the seafood tower and the tuna tartar was top notch.
Great view but food is pretty expensive and average standard. Menu also quite limited. Wine was poor
Rude service. Felt like I was looked down on from the moment I walked in the doors.
The view was great.... Jackets were no longer required.... this was very disappointing as it was not the atmosphere I wanted for my anniversary... the cheese plate and meat tray were awesome... Waiter dripped wine in my lap and water in my wife's... Go for the view but don't expect 5 star service... only 5 star price.
I would recommend it only forma the view of the city. Only ice on the drinks and the salad was completely burned!
The service unfortunately ruined our evening. We didn’t find our waitress to be very friendly nor she didn’t acknowledge we were celebrating my partners birthday. On the 2nd round of drinks we ordered, my drink was missing a straw which she said she will be right back with one. 5 mins later I’m still waiting and she comes back to the table only to collect empty glasses so quickly I didn’t even get a chance to remind her I’m still waiting on my straw. I had to then ask a waiter passing by for one which he came back straight away. She just was not interested or personable with us. We enjoyed the views and the food and drinks were good. But service definitely needs improvement. I think we just was unlucky having that lady who served us.
Food and drinks were delicious! We ordered 5 small plates between the two of us, which was plenty for dinner. The BBQ short ribs small plate was probably one of the best cooked meats we've had - amazing! Ambience was lovely, even though it was completely overcast so we couldn't enjoy the view of the city. Would definitely go back when I'm next in New York City.
Our server was very attentive and welcoming, knowledgable of both the food and drinks menu. Bar 65 is situated in such an iconic venue that it makes dinner and drinks that bit extra special. Unfortunately the weather was bad so we didn’t see much of a view... but that’s an excuse to visit again! Definitely a great option to experience the top of the Rock in more intimate surroundings. We went for 3 Little Plates that we’re larger than anticipated and had 4 cocktails; the bill was $140/ ~£100. Good value for the experience.
Really nice venue. The drinks are overpriced (of course) but it's still worth going up there to experience the view. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was too.
I was there for my 13th anniversary. We got married there. We were turned away because we have children. I was appalled - especially since I was told they make exceptions to allow families in "all the time".
We were looking forward to eating here for the view. We arrived at 5:40 for our reservation. It took the server some time to come to us and we ordered at that time. We didn't get our meals until 6:50. When we did, we realized that the food was basic- not worth the price of a higher menu. I had to chase the server to ask her for the check. We also asked a young woman who was seating guests if she could take our picture. She seemed annoyed by this, responded in a minute, and then walked by us several times. I just wouldn't recommend going here. If you want a view, go to One Dine or another restaurant.
Our first time here, we have been to Top of the Rock before.
This is highly recommended, great value compared to normal TOTR ticket, we had a few drinks and some small plates, fabulous, staff were great, views stunning obviously..
We shall return next time in NYC. An icon.
Fantastic restaurant with amazing views!
Everything was perfect we had a good time
Incredible views, lovely food. Service could’ve been a lot better considering the tips you are expected to give. Food was a reasonable price but drinks were quite expensive but given local and views was to be expected. Would definitely visit again for the good and views.
I would recommend but, it is fairly expensive for what we had! If you are wanting food the options are limited.
The staff are friendlyish .. but because it's so busy they come they and go! I did feel a bit of an annoyance when I asked if we could have the cocktail menu back for out 2nd drink and baring in mind we paid $80 for 2 drinks you would think they'd be a bit more obliging ?
Outstanding service. Fantastic views. Food presentation was outstanding however, flavor was only above average. Also, Suggest more California wines from Napa or Sonoma Valleys.
Overall was a great experience.
We had a wonderful time!! Starting downstairs everyone was friendly and knowledgeable!! Our meal was excellent!!
It rained so we could not enjoy the view.
For the rest it’s definitely not worth going.
Interior from the 80s and loud atmosphere. Drinks ok but nothing special.
The view and atmosphere was amazing! Food was good and drinks were also good. Unfortunately the service was pretty awful. I’m not sure if It was due to a private party that was also happening at the time of our dinner and all the focus was on them. But it took us 30 minutes just to get the dessert menu, another 20 for someone to take our order and 15 to get our check. Truly disappointed with the terrible service and lack of care. I get we were just 2 guest and not a party of 20 the rented the corner but we expect the same welcoming. Will not be coming back or recommending.
Perfect night with my mother for drinks. Enjoyed every second.
Great Views! Hostess offered us a wonderful table.
The staff was extremely pleasant and the view, of course, is terrific. Drinks a bit pricey, but not so bad when you consider the extra-benefit of luxe views of NYC.
The vibe and the ambience was perfect. Lighting was a little too low but our server was the best! My burger was a bit too oily but the apps and the wine was great.
Would definitely go back here.
Excellent evening made even better by the spectacular views . Fabulous .
Great & fancy, food was great, service could be so much better.
The french fries were not good....the dipping sauce was good. There was noise, but not horrible. A lady kept taking flash photos and we were blinded several times. It would have been nice if the wait staff had told her NOT to do that. My husband finally talked to her.
The waitress was so busy, she got to us when she could...
No one told her it was my birthday, and she was so busy....I just let it go.....
Great place for a special night out! Go at sunset and stay long enough to see the city lights come out! It’s the best view in the city to enjoy a drink and small plate!
Ambiente ótimo, vista fantástica!!!
The moment we walked in we knew that this was a special place for dining out. From the ambiance to the great service we received Bar65 was a wonderful place to spend our anniversary.
Husbands 60th and our 30 th anniversary x
What happened to the elegant rainbow room?? And they have the nerve to post a sign that says that proper dress is required! Definitely should delete the rainbow room from their title in order to not be deceptive.
Can’t beat this location for the view. You can’t walk around as it is split into sections but stunning
Quiet enough to have conversations and order the popcorn as a snack- YUM
The air conditioning/heating was not functioning properly resulting in a draft running through the bar. I highlighted this to the staff but they were unable to resolve the issue in a timely fashion. In the end I had to leave the bar as I was too uncomfortable to enjoy my drink. The views were spectacular and the appearance of the bar was outstanding so felt like such a shame.
This is not the definition of fine dining. Looks expensive, price tag is expensive. Food is greasy, especially the burger bun.. we asked for a new burger bun which the waiter proceeded to lie about why it was so greasy and then when a second burger bun was brought out it too was greasy. The waiter then went on to talk behind our back and then when the manager stepped in to ask about our experience and explained the situation, nothing was done. Poor service, would not recommend to anyone.
