Wunderschöne Bar an einem hervorragendem Punkt in der Stadt, die nicht nur - aber auch - durch seinen Blick über die Stadt zu begeistern weiß.
Sehr gerne wieder
Atmosphere was amazing, service was ok. The food was average.
Went for an upscale experience, encountered something less. Don’t go here if you want to impress a date. Atmosphere felt forced with no real standards. Dress code seems optional as people were there in polos. Not as great as reviews make it out to be.
Not worth the hype. Drinks were good but it was noisy and everything was expensive.
Love it an amazing view of NYC the cheesecake was amazing.
We very much enjoyed our dinner and drinks! The view from the deck is amazing and we got some beautiful pictures. Our only complaint is our indoor window seat faced the public deck so we didn’t have a great view because people were blocking.
The staff was wonderful and we were pleasantly surprised with the “chip and dip” presentation. My husband had The Bronx cocktail and I had the Silver Slipper. Yum!!!
Everything was perfect: amazing view, very kind staff, strong drinks. The only partial negative note was the food, we took a salami chopping board. Bologna was not the Real Mortadella and the quality of salami was in target with american standard. Except for this, absolutely perfect!
Very good experience. I definitely recommend going here, even if it is for just one drink. The views are impeccable and the atmosphere is classy and elegant. Wonderful experience.
amazing skyline. really loved it. will definitely visit again.
Wonderful evening! We had Jane help us with our food and drink choices. She was great! Can’t wait to go back :)
Great view, but must make reservation! The cost for the outdoor seems absurd so we didn't do that. Yummy cocktails. We did not eat, but all the food at other tables looked amazing. It would be nice if they would at least give you a small bowl of nuts or something.
And I had said in my reservation that it was my husband's birthday(which it was that day) and there was no mention of it or special drink or anything.
Magnificent views from every angle. Attentive staff , creative cocktails and great selection of shareable plates. Everything we tasted was delicious.
Amazing! Service was great & brought out a Happy Anniversary Desert Plate!
Hostess in downstairs elevator lobby was on a bit of a power trip trying to force to leave both of our average sized purses at the coat check while others were allowed to bring up much bigger bags.
Server was a "fly by" everytime. Never stopped long enough for us to point out we had the wrong food-twice! Wasn't apologetic for the mistakes either.
A premium price tag, but not a premium experience.
It is a piece of paradise. The best secret in Manhattan. Thank God The price is still great value. I will come back anytime!
Lovely food, great atmosphere and amazing view!! Would definitely recommend.
Went with friends it was a great experience.
Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Bar 65 at the Rainbow Room. It was a special occasion for us, which the staff were very kind and attentive.
I took my wife here for our anniversary. The ambiance is fantastic with the outside dining facing the sunset. The food was very good (I recommend the short rib sliders). I would definitely come back for another social occasion.
The best Bar in New York City, great experience my and my wife.
Iconic. Book ahead. You haven't done NYC if you haven't had drinks and taken a photo of the view at Bar 65. I recommend the Manhattan because you have to have had a Manhattan at the Top of the Rock. Bucket list.
Perfection! Service! Location! View! Food! Drinks!
Highly recommend! You owe it to self to enjoy Bar SixtyFive!
Really over priced drinks and not good food...........................................................................................................................::.................:::::::::::::::.....
The view is probably best of new york city. The service and vibe was great. Drinks were delish. We had the lobster which I wasnt crazy about. But others around me enjoyed their food and looked great. Layout of the place was great. Wasnt packed with people which was nice. Restrooms very clean. Definitely would go again and recommend.
Very nice stay and good food and service. Unfortunately, the outdoor closes too early at midnight. This is one of the main attractions and should be kept open at least til 1am.
Magnificent views over New York. We had an outside table which is very special. Expensive but worth the money - even the notorious NY hostess girls where friendly - this is an unusual experience in New York😊 Food was also very good.
Went to the restaurant in 2016 and it was great took my partner to celebrate our engagement and it was shockingly poor.
Service, our waitress showed no interest clearly didn’t want to be there.
Ordered burger and steak, both at medium Rare. Burger was medium well, steak came out rare, and neither seasoned.
Waitress checked in towards the end of the restaurant nothing was done.
But a complimentary dessert placed down in from of us but I have an allergy to the nuts in it.
For such an amazing location and reputations you expect the service and dining to be on par with the atmosphere and it was not at all.
Love this place. Never fails to impress!! Will plan a visit every time I’m in the city.
I came here for a date. It was super loud and the bar area was packed. I thought you needed a reservation but apparently you can just go to the bar. As such, it was full and not the romantic quiet place it seemed to be.
Saw some reviews and figured we would go try it out... got there and was immediately seated, fantastic views. Did not disappoint! We started with drinks and the “Salmon Plateau” ... finished with more drinks and the Charcuterie Board... both were very tasty and well portioned. The wait staff was super! Granted it has a min spend for a terrace table, but between food and drinks, we easily covered it! I would recommend to anyone wanting a nice evening out...
I went here for my partners birthday and we had one of the best nights of our lives here! As we are visiting NYC for the first time, we wanted to go all out. I would say that the view is the best in the city and the food was delicious. If I ever come back to New York, this will definitely be top of the list!
Great view so worth it, no need to pay for a view when you can pay for food and drinks instead! There is a an opportunity to view on the outside of the restaurant.
Lovely ambience and great food and amicable staff. Fabulous food, great chef. We ordered the ribeye and sliders incredible tasty. Love the dessert presentation as well.
the view and the service was great, but due to rain, we weren't able to sit outside. the food was super underwhelming - we were really surprised as to how it was all wow factor & no flavor- we ordered the fish, burger, and the crab toast. overall, i would consider going back to grab a glass of wine and see the view, but i wouldn't dine again. also, i wish they would consider having a dress code because most people dressed up but there were several people that were very underdressed and it made the overall classiness of this place go down a few notches because of it.
An amazing experience in a fantastic setting with a romantic view to rival them all
Make a reservation for outside, unless it's one of those 100 degree days. We arrived about 50 minutes before sunset, and had a nice table with great views, nice breeze kept it from being too hot. Twilight with all the lights coming on and the sunset to the west, doesnt get much better. Good food, expect to have at least $150 for two, ($65/person min for outside). Great drinks, and small plates excellent.
Honestly I was super excited about the menu the drinks and the atmosphere. I was sorely disappointed by the service as it was a special occasion.
Excellent service - modern elegance
The view was amazing, totally worth it.
